For some houseguests, Big Brother is the gateway to other reality TV shows. We often see past houseguests appear on things such as The Amazing Race, The Challenge, and Survivor. While still under contract, CBS has them stick close to home appearing on flagship reality TV programming and Bold and the Beautiful. However, when their contracts with CBS end, we see past houseguests on many different series, not just those exclusive to the network.
This tradition will be even stronger in 2025 with many of your favorite former houseguests appearing on everything from Worst Cooks in America to The Traitors. Here are some TV shows to watch in 2025 to see past Big Brother houseguests.
Worst Cooks In America: Celebrity Edition: Heroes vs. Villains (January 5, 2025)
Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition is often full of reality TV stars. This upcoming season will be full of them again, including former Big Brother players Frankie Grande, Rachel Reilly, and former Big Brother UK contestant Tiffany Pollard. They’re all competing for a cash prize while learning to cook. With such a fun premise and so many big personalities, it’s definitely going to be a fun season to watch.
Deal Or No Deal Island Season 2 (January 7, 2025)
In October, it was announced that Dr. Will Kirby would make his long-awaited return to competitive reality TV by appearing on the second season of Deal or No Deal Island. The series involves challenges to win briefcases with money. Then, the contestants risk it all by facing the banker each week for a chance to continue in the game or be eliminated. The current trailer shows that Will will be stirring up plenty of drama in the upcoming season. We can’t wait to see it.
The Traitors (Jan 9, 2025)
Big Brother alumni will again check into the Scottish manor when the Emmy-winning series returns in January for another season of mischief, mayhem, and fabulous Alan Cumming outfits. This time, the past Big Brother houseguests include Britney Haynes and Danielle Reyes. As Reindeer Games fans know, Britney and Danielle had some drama while on that series. It will be interesting to see if they can work together this time.
Australian Survivor: Australia Vs. World (Unknown)
In September 2024, Paramount Australia announced a few names of the global Survivor legends who will appear in this upcoming season. The premise is Australian Survivor legends against global ones. These legends include Survivor great and former Big Brother contestant Cirie Fields. It’s unclear whether this season of Australian Survivor will eventually make its way to the North American Paramount Plus, but it is possible.
Currently Airing Shows
Big Brother 19 winner Josh Martinez is one of the contestants on the Telemundo series Los 50. It’s similar to Big Brother with players living together and competing for $350,000. The show is a Spanish-language program whose second season premiered in October. Jessie Godderz from Big Brother 10 and 11 is one of the contestants on House of Villians Season 2. This season also premiered in October. The current season of The Challenge also features an array of former Big Brother players, including Kyland Young, Josh Martinez, and Kaycee Clark.
As of November, these are the only current shows that we know will feature former Big Brother houseguests, but we’re sure more of them will pop up on more reality series next year. We may even see Big Brother 26 contestants appear on upcoming Survivor, The Challenge, and The Amazing Race seasons.
Therefore, if you love seeing Big Brother players on other reality TV shows, you’ll probably get plenty of that in 2025 and 2026, especially as you wait for Big Brother 27 and beyond.
