Did Julie Chen Moonves Just Tease A New Celebrity Big Brother?

Another day, another Big Brother rumor. Actually, we could say another Big Brother rumor fueled by Host Julie Chen Moonves. She has a way of starting those.

Wednesday night on Twitter, Julie posted a photo of her sitting inside the Big Brother house lounge, along with two house emojis and a smiley emoji (see the Tweet below). At first fans were like, wait a minute, why is the BB house already designed? It’s only February, after all! But eagle-eye fans soon pointed out that the image was taken during Celebrity Big Brother 2. Which lead to the question, did Julie just tease a new Celebrity Big Brother or is she just bored and trolling us once again?

I’m going to go with the latter. Who knows why Julie does these things and who knows why fans continue to fall for it. Julie has teased plenty of things in the past that have amounted to nothing, so I’m sure this is just another one of those.

The reason why I think it’s just another Julie troll, is because we would have heard about it by now. There was never an official renewal for a fourth installment of Celebrity Big Brother by CBS. And there aren’t any special events going on this spring that would make sense for CBS to have a clear schedule for a season of Celebrity Big Brother.

And before anyone says what about Paramount Plus, think about that. No celebs are going to opt in for a season of Big Brother on Paramount Plus. They would only do that for the network exposure and pay.

So maybe she’s not teasing Celebrity Big Brother at all, and just happened to pick that photo … I guess that could be possible. Maybe CBS and Paramount Plus is considering another streaming only season, like Big Brother Over The Top. Or maybe, like many BB fans have started, Julie Chen Moonves is just bored.
