Big Brother Reportedly Plans To Continue Offering Live Feeds In America

Big Brother Live Feeds on Paramount Plus

After news that Big Brother Canada was no longer going to offer Live Feeds 24/7 Big Brother US fans started to get worried.

Big Brother Canada made the announcement last week, letting fans know that instead of Live Feeds, they’d be given “Digital Dailies,” which seem to be a condensed summary of events that went on in the house each day.

“This new content offering came together after thoughtful consideration, with us taking a new approach to the BBCAN live feeds by offering an exclusive peek inside the house and moving away from the 24/7 live feeds,” said Corus Studios and Corus Entertainment Senior Vice President of Original Content Lisa Godfrey in a statement.

So needless to say, Big Brother fans here were wondering if we had anything to worry about because there’s some history there.

If you remember back to early 2013 when Big Brother Canada launched their own in-house Live Feeds, Big Brother US quickly followed suit, dropping their out-sourced relationship with RealNetworks. So fans wondering if our own Big Brother would again follow in the footsteps of our Northern friends was actually warranted. But according to Dalton Ross with Entertainment Weekly, there’s no need to fear, Big Brother 25 will indeed still be providing fans with 24/7 Live Feeds via Paramount Plus.

“According to a source close to production, there are no plans to change the live feed offerings for viewers of the American Big Brother when the show returns for its landmark 25th season this summer,” Ross wrote in the EW article.

So, while there’s not a named source, Ross and EW are very trusted sources, so we can confidently share this report.

Besides, Paramount Plus really depends on Big Brother Live Feeds subscriptions, as it continues to compete with larger streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max (soon to become simply Max with it merges with Discovery Plus).
