We’re running through the back half of CBS’s Reindeer Games with the last three episodes of the series which so far has been a surprisingly fun spin-off for Big Brother. Not sure we’ll see it again so let’s enjoy it while it lasts!
The latest player eliminated was Danielle when Britney shocked us all with surviving the timed maze puzzle and then sent Danielle out to her doom after mistaking Danielle’s alliance to Xavier. Well nuts. So now that leaves us with six former HGs and two more eliminations before Thursday’s finale.

Naughty Or Nice – Puzzle Challenge:
And here comes the return of Derek X! He’s back to deliver the first challenge. The players have to figure out who kidnapped Jill Frost. First one to get this worked out will gain an advantage in the upcoming comp.
Xavier buzzes in first expecting that he has a 50/50 guess on who is the bad reindeer. Then we see Frankie, Nicole, and Britney decide to team up and each take one of the three reindeers they’ve narrowed it down to, so they’re working together again on this one.
Frankie will select who to partner with in the upcoming challenge then he will get to assign a disadvantage to another paired team. Frankie selects Taylor as his partner because he doesn’t want to risk going into the showdown with one of his allies (Britney and Nicole). So now the two guys don’t want to team up and are trying to get Nicole & Britney to split up which makes Nicole nervous. Well yeah, the guys want to make sure they have an advantage if they get sent with their partner to the Showdown.
Teams are set: Frankie & Taylor; Britney & Josh; Xavier & Nicole
Puzzle winner: Frankie
Naughty ‘victim’: Nicole & Xavier
Jingle Bell Brawl – Backyard Challenge:
Teams have to reassemble a giant puzzle that fits in the back of a sleigh. Frankie’s advantage is that he can “freeze” one of the other two teams for 45 seconds at some point during the comp and he can call it on-demand, but of course only once.
Just a bit into the comp we hear Frankie “freeze” Xavier & Nicole for the 45 sec delay. Meanwhile we’re seeing Britney and Josh are struggling here while Frankie & Taylor are running away with it.
Brawl winner: Frankie & Taylor
Here’s how the Showdown gets selected. It’s not a pair going to the Showdown, it’s one from each. Ouch. They should have stuck together then instead of splitting up. Nice twist.
Frankie has to pick between Josh & Britney. Taylor has decide between Xavier & Nicole.
Frankie pitches to Taylor that they each pick the guys to make sure one of them goes out the door. Yes, this is what Britney should have done last episode. Frankie is decided but Taylor is torn and Xavier really doesn’t want Taylor to pick protecting Nicole over him again.
Taylor picks… Nicole to go to the Showdown.
Frankie picks Josh to go to the Showdown.
Santa’s Showdown – Elimination Challenge:
It’s an endurance competition! Nicole and Josh have to hang on to a giant candy cane that spins around and around. Who will survive the showdown??
Whoa! We see BOTH Nicole and Josh get thrown to the ground at nearly the same time, but one of them had to hit the ground first…
Eliminated: Josh
