Safety Day arrived for the Big Brother Over The Top Houseguests as they plotted and planned through the day then schemed some more Saturday night with the first Safety Ceremony. HGs learned if they’d be safe or if they’d have to wait another day for their fate this week. More twists and turns continue to arrive on BBOTT.

Big Brother OTT Live Feed Highlights – Saturday, October 1, 2016:
9:20 AM BBT – Monte is up and Shane joins him in the HoH room to chat briefly. Shane mentions Cornbread is a very bad snorer and disrupting his sleep. This comes up frequently from other HGs as well.
9:30 AM BBT – Monte and Shane discuss nomination plans and who could be safe first. Monte is confident that “no one is going to dare get upset with me” for his plans.
10:20 AM BBT – Alex and CB agree that Jason is this week’s target.
11:15 AM BBT – Monte and Alex tak about the noms. He’s planning to keep Scott for the last safety batch and Neeley up front to confuse the others. Monte says Jason took too long to approach him for a deal to happen.
11:50 AM BBT – Shane and Monte discussing the plans for Safety Ceremony. Monte wants to save some people for the second batch of safety so he can have a day to watch their reactions.
12:15 PM BBT – Sisters Alex and Morgan privately discuss best approach for socializing and whether to stay grouped together or hang out with different people. Alex thinks they should spread out.
1:00 PM BBT – Shelby wonders if there will be a vote by viewers to keep someone safe each week.
1:20 PM BBT – Cornbread reports to Monte that he doesn’t like Shelby and thinks she’s angling against him. Monte is trying to decide between putting Shelby or Kryssie up next to Jason. Jason remains his target.
1:30 PM BBT – Monte worries Danielle could cause trouble for their alliance with Shane since those two are now starting to showmance.
2:20 PM BBT – Shane talks with Monte as he tries to determine who should be in the first group of names. They wonder about Justin and what’s going on there. Monte doesn’t want to alienate him since he’s a wild card.
3:15 PM BBT – Cornbread again talking about Shelby and how she doesn’t like him so he doesn’t like her. He’s telling Scott his concerns. Scott tells CB not to worry about it but CB can’t let go of it.
4:10 PM BBT – Scott and Monte discuss the Danielle and Shane situation. Monte isn’t too worried. Scott thinks she could be a threat if she proves to be a strong competitor. Monte is sure Shane can keep her under control.
5:30 PM BBT – HGs are relaxing outside and enjoying the day.
6:45 PM BBT – Dinner time for the HGs while the Safety Ceremony is closing in.
7:00 PM BBT – Safety Ceremony time. Monte has gone upstairs alone as though he was instructed to do so. BB announces it’s time for HGs to go to the Storage room and get their “Block Passes.” Everyone picks them up then sits down in the living room. BB announces the process will take 30 mins and their Block Passes will turn green if they are selected as safe from Monte’s nominations. HGs decide not to wait on the couches and go back to wandering around.
7:10 PM BBT – Monte starts to make his Safety picks. This drags out over 15-20 mins. He selects Neeley, Whitney, CB, Morgan, and Shane for the first round of Safety.
7:30 PM BBT – BB announces there will be another ceremony the next night. Monte comes downstairs and gives a speech to the HGs not to read too much in to the order (even though he put a lot of thought in to the order). HGs return their Block Passes to the Storage room.
7:45 PM BBT – Monte, Shane, and CB are talking upstairs. They agree that Kryssie will go up with Jason.
9:00 PM BBT – CB and Scott reaffirm their F4 deal (including Monte and Shane who are not present). CB again worries about Danielle and Shane getting too close and disrupting their plans.
9:15 PM BBT – CB promises Scott he’s actually very strong and will do well in comps.
9:25 PM BBT – Justin joins the talk and they discuss the safety picks. Justin says he wasn’t surprised by most of them because of who Monte spends his time with.
9:40 PM BBT – Justin is talking about his life back home and facing difficulties growing up where he did.
10:15 PM BBT – Monte and Morgan discuss Danielle. Morgan doesn’t like her and Monte isn’t crazy about her either.
10:45 PM BBT – Whitney and Shelby are talking at the hot tub. They see how Monte, Shane, CB, and Scott are working together. Whitney says she’ll target Danielle if she gets HoH.
11:10 PM BBT – Monte talks with Whitney and Morgan promising them he won’t go back on their deal and they’ll be okay.
11:50 PM BBT – Morgan and Shelby discuss not liking Danielle. They think only Shane can put up with her. They feel good about Monte trusting them.
12:15 AM BBT – Alex sees Scott as a floater. She says he takes info in from everyone but doesn’t give anything back.
12:25 AM BBT – Kryssie and Jason worry they’re both probably going up. (Yes, that’s the plan.) Jason thinks Monte would be dumb to pass up on what he was offering (to help him control the powers from America’s Vote).
12:35 AM BBT – Kryssie says America will love CB but Jason disagrees. Jason notes that Monte probably won’t go over well with fans since the “Captain America” HG rarely does.
12:50 AM BBT – Jason, Kryssie, and Neeley discuss an alliance among the three of them. Jason tells them if he goes this week to grab Justin for their alliance.
12:55 AM BBT – Neeley says they need to split up the sorority girls.
1:00 AM BBT – Jason suspects Scott and Shelby are both snakes (both were/are in the OTT Jamboree). Kryssie says they should keep acting like they’re with Shelby, but no more info goes to her. Jason points out they have no info to share.
Nominations are on their way with this new Safety Ceremony which works pretty much like the old key block method but imagine they stopped halfway through pulling keys then did the rest the next night. We’ve got five more picks for safety coming up on Sunday night (10PM ET / 7PM PT) then we’ll have our 2 nominees. America’s vote kicks off at 11PM ET to decide the 3rd nom. That must not last long though because Veto comp is midday on Monday. Interesting schedule and it’s taking some getting used to but we’ll get there.

Danielle is Amber and Shane is Caleb, but no stalker behavior right now. I think Justin will be the one doing the stalking. He seems to be isolating himself because D is more into Shane than him.
I find it hilarious how most of the girls want Danielle out. They’re probably envious of the fact that because of Shane and her friendship with other houseguests she’s in a pretty good position. No one in the OTT jamboree alliance wants to go after her and because of Shane she’s safe for a couple weeks with the all guys alliance. So those catty girls can go kick rocks and find someone else to pick on.
Yeah, Danielle has sure become a target, especially with the girls.

Saw a clip of the safety ceremony on Youtube. So cool to hear BB (Don Wollman) speak over the intercom and say stuff other than the usual “Stop that”, and “, please go to the Diary Room”.
He sure has a lot more to say this season doesn’t he.
Word is that Cornbread is HoneyBooBoo’s uncle? He needs to go! I liked him pre-show but after watching him past few days..he is a full on hick! I’m voting for him to be the Nom for us OTB!
I agree Dawn, CB is becoming less and less likable. It’s going to be interesting if his side of the house keeps winning power, but the viewers keep selecting against them with the online voting! ?

I would love for America to vote for someone to be safe each week. That will take some of the HOH’s power away.
I don’t understand what’s the problem with Danielle. She talks a lot which can be annoying, but I haven’t seen her do anything other than flirting with Shane.
Maybe Whitney and Morgan like him and want her out because of that. The cattiness has started.
Just liek in Survivor, when I see a bunch of young catty girls getting together to get rid of other girls I want them out first.
Why is Alex calling out floaters. I see all them kissing Monte’s behind and not really doing much in the show so far.
I think Scott is the only one starting to play the game since he is on both sides of the house sharing information.
I’m anxious to see how they play once the comps start. And also their reaction to our nomination. As of now I don’t care for CB and will vote for him.
I am waiting to see how they play in the comps as well. Hopefully no one starts throwing it this season and each player tries their best. I haven’t been watching the feeds too much so don’t really know why people don’t like Cornbread, but I’ll get more into it after veto.
Yes, Scott is looking pretty good at this point. Definitely a sleeper and could go far.
