Big Brother 26: Veto Ceremony Plans for Week 3

I’m not even sure if there is a word that could describe how Week 3 of Big Brother 26 is going. There was a lot of chaos inside the Big Brother house this weekend thanks to one houseguest and some asinine plans discussed. Despite this, it does seem that there are one of two ways that the Veto Ceremony could play out on Monday afternoon. Read on to find out what the Big Brother houseguests have talked about and what the likely plan is for this week’s Veto Ceremony.

So far we have seen Cedric win the Head of Household and he nominated Angela, Kenney, and Tucker for eviction. The Power of Veto Competition took place on Saturday and Makensy and Leah joined the HOH and noms in the comp. Cedric didn’t want Makensy or Leah to win because they were on the short list of renom options for this week. In fact, I think that Cedric was hoping to pull off the win himself so that he could keep his nominations the same. However, Tucker went on to win the Veto and that’s where the chaos began.

Most of the time when a nominee wins the Power of Veto, they decide to use it on themselves and guarantee their safety for the week. However, Tucker has mentioned the idea of using the Veto on Angela this week. He goes on to tell Cedric that he thinks this is a great idea because then he can play in BBAI Arena and win it. He even pushes an idea of who Cedric should nominate in Angela’s place and this is one of two scenarios that have been discussed in the house since the Veto Competition took place.

Tucker told Cedric that he wants to see Quinn put on the block. He then runs the idea of exposing Quinn’s power to the house as they approach Thursday night’s live vote. He says that he is hoping that this will then put a big enough target on Quinn’s back that everyone in the house will vote Quinn out on Thursday night. Whether or not Tucker is actually contemplating using the Veto on anyone but himself or if he is just trying to shake up the house remains to be seen.

Ready for scenario number two? Cedric renom’ing Makensy and forcing her to use her power this week. She has already made it clear to Cedric that if she goes on the block, she will use it to ensure her safety this week. Cedric is worried that Makensy will then come after him next week, but he also knows that both The Collective and The Pentagon are expecting him to put Makensy on the block.

Here is the interesting part, Brooklyn tells Makensy that she doesn’t have to use her power this week because they have the votes to keep her safe. In fact, she went as far as promising Makensy there wouldn’t be a single vote for her to go on Thursday if she doesn’t win the BBAI Arena on Thursday night.

It does seem like Cedric is leaning more toward renom’ing Makensy this week to flush her power because that’s what two of his alliances want him to do. He doesn’t want to go against his alliance by keeping Makensy off the block this week because he knows that will put him in a compromising position with them. As far as which nominee will come off the block, Tucker has mentioned a plan to use the Veto on Angela to strengthen their chances of Makensy and Kenney staying on the block this week. However, I don’t expect him to do that.

Make sure you come back later for confirmation on how the Veto Ceremony plays out. In the meantime, let us know who you hope to see hit the block as a renom!
