We are officially into the fifth week of Big Brother 26, but we’ve got some unfinished businesses here from Week 4. We have to have a look back and the top and not-so-top moments from the past week. So let’s do it.
The Best And Worst Moments of BB26 Week 4
Best: Angela Wins HOH
Our first two-time HOH winner of the season is Angela! Who would’ve thought. I didn’t think she was going to last past week 2, and here we are! Way to go, Angela!
Worst: Quinn’s Deepfake Takeover
What could have been such a cool twist ended up being not only completely lame but also an absolute disaster for Quinn. Secret powers are supposed to help you, not destroy your alliances and send out your closest allies. Double yikes.
Best: That Veto Competition
I am loving the new competitions this season. Not only are the inventive, but they’re fair to all body types, ages and athletic ability. Good job, BB. Last season those competitions were so not fair.
Best: Tucker Wins the Veto
Nothing like a huge target foiling the plans of a majority alliance time after time. I am never a fan of comp beasts steamrolling, but Tucker has an actual underdog, so I can’t be mad at it. I mean that status was very much self-induced and he’s definitely gone beyond underdog point now, but looking back, that’s what this was. Now he’s just a comp beast.
Best: Tucker Actually Uses the Veto on Himself
That’s how you’re supposed to do it, Tucker! Remember that!
Worst: Rubina goes up as the replacement nominee
Not only was this kind of a wasted mood (Tucker isn’t really attached to Rubina, so this was never going to hurt him. If anything, it would get rid of his main distraction in the game. And furthermore, Quinn’s two closest allies love Rubina and never wanted to be in a situation where they had to decide to vote her out or not. Bad call, Quinn. So many bad calls.
Best: Makensy Wins the AI Arena Competition
This is a good thing because that’s not what anyone wanted to happen and it opened up the pathway for a vote flip.
Best: A Vote Flip and a Blindside
There’s nothing like a vote that is not unanimous! And a blindside is even better. Mad props go to Kimo and T’Kor for leading the charge this week and doing what they actually wanted to do. That’s rare in this modern day of Big Brother.
Worst: Cedric is Evicted
While I loved the blindside and the drama, I felt really bad for Cedric. I never imaged him being a pre-juror. There are other people in his alliance that should have gone home before him. BUT he didn’t have to be up there. He said it was OK for his ally to put him up. Let’s stop with this whole “I’ll go up for the good of the team” business. Just stop it!
