We have officially entered the fourth week of Big Brother 26. But we can’t move on before we look back at one of the most epic weeks in recent history. For the past few weeks, it has felt like classic Big Brother is back. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not naive. I know that modern Big Brother is lurking in the shadows. There are really boring alliances and player this season who will probably be sleeping at noon on the Live Feeds within the next month. But for now, I’m going to enjoy this feeling. So let’s take a look at the best and worst moments from that wacky Week 3.
The Best and Worst Moments of Big Brother Week 3
Worst: Cedric Nominates The Same People
Tucker was right about one thing this week. And that was the fact that they were getting boring going after Kenney and Angela every week. I know it’s smart to play it safe, and it’s only Week 3, but make a move! Any move! Cedric seems like a great guy, and I enjoy him. But that was such a boring move.
Best: Tucker Wins The Power of Veto
After volunteering to go on the block again this week, it was good to see Tucker win the Power of Veto so he could save himself. Wait a minute.
Worst: Tucker Doesn’t Use The Veto on Himself
It might have worked on out in the end, but it’s never, ever a good idea to not use the veto on yourself. I mean it could have been a good move if there wasn’t a big boring alliance protecting half the house. Tucker can’t really know that, but it should be pretty obvious by now there’s a group in there.
Best: Tucker Saves Angela
I know this is a direct contradiction, to what I just wrote, but Tucker shocking Angela and the rest of the house by using his veto on her was amazing. And the fact that they’ve tried getting her out for two weeks now and she’s still in the game is so funny to me.
Worst: Cedric Doesn’t Nominate Quinn
I know why Cedric didn’t go after Quinn. But I also know why he should have. Not only did Quinn lie to his allies, but he has a very powerful advantage and unless he has to throw the next HOH, he could technically be HOH two weeks In a row. I’d vote out my best friend over that.
Best: Mankensy Uses America’s Veto on Herself
As if there weren’t enough jaws hitting the floor already, Makensy pulls out her red, white and blue veto medallion and takes herself off the block. That whole veto ceremony was classic Big Brother. Loved every minute of it.
Worst: House Agrees to Not Target America’s Nominee
This is what I mean when I say that modern Big Brother lurks in the shadows. This cast has major potential to be a bunch of bores. They’re the kind of players we started to see during Big Brother 16 when the game took a major shift. I think just outright saying no, we aren’t even going to entertain the idea of voting out that person is just such basic behavior.
Best: America Nominates Quinn
A lot of the reason that Quinn was put on the block is because America doesn’t know half the houseguests they could vote for. Not many of them have had much airtime, so their options were limited, really. And voting Quinn also delivered the message that they were on board with Tucker’s plan. And America likes to be messy. You don’t always get it right, America, but good job this week.
Best: Tucker Wins AI Arena Again
I really thought Tucker was going to lose and go home last night. I didn’t think he could really win again. But not only did he win, he SMOKED Kenney and Quinn. He destroyed that competition. So here’s to hoping we get another week of chaos led by Tucker (and assisted by Angela).
Best: Kenney Is Finally Shown the Door
No one who wants to leave the Big Brother house voluntarily will ever get my respect. I was so tried of the back and forth with Kenney, so thankfully Tucker win the competition and Kenney can go home to his family.
Worst: They Didn’t Vote Out Quinn
Again, I am contradicting myself. BUT I would have voted out the superfan with the special power. Bottom line. No ifs, ands or buts. Kenney would either quit on his own within the next week or he could be voted out next time.
