No one can deny that the Big Brother 26 cast knows how to make the Power of Veto Ceremonies exciting. Leah shocked the house on Monday by using the Veto to save Angela. Most of the houseguests didn’t seem too upset by her decision. However, it could have major repercussions for a few other players’ games.
In particular, Joseph and Quinn really were the ones hurt most by this move. It forced Quinn to have more blood on his hands and betray a close ally. This renomination could also end in Joseph’s eviction this week. Currently, Kimo is the likely player going home if he doesn’t win the AI Arena, but Joseph’s name isn’t completely out of the running for eviction.Â
Following the Power of Veto Ceremony, Chelsie ranked the order of who she wanted to see evicted this week. This happened in a private conversation between Makensy, Cam, and her. Kimo ranked first as the main target but with Joseph as the secondary one. Cam pushed back a little by trying to keep Joseph over Rubina. The guy’s numbers are dwindling in the Big Brother 26 house, so Cam rightfully may start to worry if another guy leaves. Statistically, chances favor a guy leaving, especially when Rubina already has two guaranteed votes and only needs two more to stay.Â
T’Kor and her have already been putting in the work to start a mid-game all-women’s alliance. It’s still too early to tell, especially with the AI Arena factor, but Quinn isn’t thrilled he might lose one of his closest allies.
He confronted who he believes is another close ally. Quinn started his day annoyed with Leah’s decision to save Angela. They each had separate conversations before finally talking to each other. Leah immediately giggled and asked Quin if he was mad about her decision.
Quinn expressed frustration because they had discussed this decision for hours the night before. He even said that he begged Leah to not use the Veto to save Angela. Leah claimed that she didn’t remember Quinn planning to nominate Joseph as the replacement nominee.
Quinn knew this wasn’t true. Quinn asked Leah if she did all this to force him to give her her way. Quinn knew that Leah wanted Kimo gone because he was targeting her. Quinn refused to make Kimo the target over Angela because she was more of a threat to his game. Leah even explained to Quinn why Angela was better for her game because she would be a jury vote for her.
Quinn argued that this move made her more of an unpredictable player and it would make it harder for them to form a solid alliance. He also didn’t think ensuring one guaranteed jury vote was worth the hassle of this move. Leah knew the risks but took a chance.
In Quinn and Leah’s conversation post-Power of Veto, Quinn spoke to Leah about the possibility that she’s playing him, and then going to the diary room and laughing about it. Leah then tried to reassure him that she still wanted to work with Joseph and Quinn. She even told them she would vote out Kimo and Rubina on Thursday if Joseph remained on the block next to them.
Quinn seems to now realize that Leah may not be good for his game, but whether he does something about it in the future is still unknown.Â
