Now that we are down to just eight players left in the Big Brother 26 house, it’s time to start taking a serious look at who can actually win this game. I’ll be going through each of the players and taking a look at who has path to victory and who doesn’t.
Angela
It’s pretty remarkable just how bad Angela blew up her own game in week one then became an immediate target, but is somehow still in the game at Final 8. Even more remarkable is that she had a veto used on her by another player three different times. She might be a perpetual pawn at this point, but you can’t ignore anyone when they make this far in the game when they really shouldn’t have.
Can Angela win Big Brother 26? That’s a long shot. She has a great shot at getting to the Final 2, though. I think she will be looked at as an easy person to beat. I would argue that she could pull out enough votes to win, but I think this cast has had such a hard time living with her and walking on eggshells around her that there wouldn’t be enough gameplay respect there to win.
Cam
It looks like Cam is most likely going to be the last man standing, but that doesn’t exactly say a whole lot about his game. He is where he is because Chelsie has been protecting him. He’s played a vert low-key cam and at times has been almost non-existent. I’ve learned recently he does have a better read on the game than I originally thought, though.
Can Cam Win Big Brother 26? Unlikely. I think the fact that if Cam gets to the end, only two men will be on the jury and I can’t see the majority, which would be women, would vote for a man to win after they’ve all been very “girl power” this season and they’ve been running the show. For Cam to win at the end of this season would just make very little sense to me.
Chelsie
I think the houseguests see it as much as we do: Chelsie has been running the house since Week 2. She is clearly the biggest threat and could have been targeted many times but hasn’t. She could be taken out easily this week, but that’s not the plan. So I think this is the week that seals the deal for Chelsie.
Can Chelsie Win Big Brother 26? She can, and will, I think. The fact that Leah’s plan for this week is T’Kor or Rubina over Chelsie will open up Chelsie’s path to the end even more than it already was. I am not sure who she would be sitting next to at this point, but I think she wins against anyone (other than maybe T’Kor, but I think she could even beat her).
Kimo
The houseguests have been swayed to keep Kimo in the house a couple of times, but I am not sure he would be able to present a compelling enough campaign to the jury to make him standout as a winner.
Can Kimo Win Big Brother 26? I really don’t think so. If by some wacky miracle he got to the end with Rubina, there could be a slight chance, but even then I’m not sure. It goes back to the “girl power” angle I mentioned with Cam. I think this season would be a hard one for a man to win.
Leah
I think Leah’s shot at winning might have come and gone this week. After winning HOH and having the ability to control how the veto goes this week, she could make a winning move, but I am afraid the move she is set to make this week will benefit Chelsie in the long run. If T’Kor and Rubina end up on the block this week and T’Kor goes, then Chelsie has no competition. If Rubina goes, then T’Kor will turn to Chelsie, giving her yet another solid number to win this game.
Can Leah Win Big Brother 26? It could be possible. Especially if while I’m typing this the veto ceremony is happening and she actually puts Chelsie on the block. Otherwise, I think Leah’s chances drop drastically. Of course a lot can still happen, and Leah’s resume has improved greatly the past couple of weeks. She would have a pretty solid story to tell also, having gone from no allies, being kept in the dark and blindsided to the Final 2 would look pretty good on paper.
Makensy
Sometimes I can’t believe Makensy is still in the game. She had so many bad reads on the game and hasn’t been in the position to make any kind of power moves, but there is still time for that. So that’s why Makseny might actually be one of the most poised for a win. Let me explain why in the next section.
Can Makensy Win Big Brother 26? Yes. If she’s sitting next to the right person. I think Makensy could beat Angela, Rubina, Kimo, Leah and Cam. So her chances are actually pretty high. And if she can get this far without getting blood on her hands from an HOH win and start winning those last few competitions, she will have a strong campaign. And I’m not alone in this thinking. Makensy is actually favored in a few professional betting pools. Her win would be very BB20 Kaycee, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
Rubina
Poor Rubina. I think she outlasted most expectations, but I don’t know if she will even last beyond this week. She hasn’t made any moves, and was protected by a showmance and her trio, so I’m not sure she could come up with enough of a campaign to get herself a win.
Can Rubina Win Big Brother 26? I don’t think so. I think of the eight, she might be the least likely. I think she’s a great character and has been very enjoyable, but her winning Big Brother would be very shocking.
T’Kor
Other than Chelsie, I think T’Kor has had the clearest path to the end. But that could be changing this week. Leah and Angela are about to make a move that could be the end of T’Kor’s game. That is unless her social game is as strong as everyone has said and what everyone believes to be true – that anyone sitting next to her goes home – is true.
Can T’Kor win Big Brother 26? Yes, if she stays this week and isn’t sitting next to Chelsie at the end. I think she could still beat Chelsie, but it wouldn’t be an easy vote. I think she beats anyone else, though. But if everyone realizes this, and she’s sitting next to Rubina on the block this week, she will probably not see those Final 2 chairs.
So if you want a ranking, here’s how I see the BB26 final 8 from most likely to win to least likely to win:
- 1 Chelsie
- 2 T’Kor (unless she goes this week)
- 3 Makensy
- 4 Leah
- 5 Angela
- 5 Kimo
- 7 Cam
- 8 Rubina
