It was nomination day in the Big Brother 26 house and this is all starting to really feel a little deja vu. That’s because there might be a new Head of Household, but that’s about all that’s new this week. But the really wacky thing is that all three nominees either volunteered to go up or told the HOH they were fine with going up. I really don’t understand these houseguests. Read on for all the Friday daytime highlights to see if you can understand them better than I can.

Big Brother 26 Live Feed Highlights – Friday, August 2, 2024:
9:02 AM BBT – Feeds cut for the houseguests to get their wake-up music.
9:16 AM BBT – Feeds return. Everyone waking up to start their day.
9:37 AM BBT – Cedric tells Tucker that the most logical nominee is Makensy because she would be safe from using her power then she could be the target next week instead of himself as outgoing HOH. Tucker says he just wants to know the truth about her power. Cedric says if Makensy uses the power America will pick the replacement and he won’t get extra blood on his hands.
9:45 AM BBT – Cedric tells Kenney that Angela is the target, and if Kenney wants to go home he can be the backup target.
9:50 AM BBT – Kenney tells Cedric and Tucker that if he won HOH he would put up Brooklyn, Rubina and Joseph. Tucker says he would put up Leah and Makensy because he’s not afraid of them.
9:56 AM BBT – Kenney says he will pull himself off the block if he wins veto. But says if he goes home, he goes. If he stays, he stays. He says everyone knows how he feels.
9:58 AM BBT – Tucker says Angela won’t win the Arena comp. Kenney agrees and says either Angela goes “or I go.”
10:oo AM BBT – Kenney asks if Lisa had the power. Cedric says he doesn’t think she did. Kenney says it has to be Quinn then. Brooklyn says it could be T’Kor.
10:13 AM BBT – Leah tells Kimo she’s worried because she doesn’t know who Cedric will put up. Then she says she was afraid Tucker was going to win HOH because she knows he would put her up. Leah says everyone thinks there’s an all-girls alliance and an all-boys alliance.
12:06 PM BBT – Angela lets Cedric know that she is fine going up this week.
12:15 PM BBT – Makensy tells Cedric that for her power, America has to name the replacement, he doesn’t.
1:06 PM BBT – Kenney, Cedric and Tucker form an alliance. And Kenney says the best way to solidify this is to put him and Tucker both up this week. This has Kenney re-energized, he says. He tells Tucker and Cedric that if he is on the block at the end of the week and they for some reason send him home, he wants the two of them to run this all the way to the end. Tucker says he’s down for that. Kenney says but if Angela is still up there she can go home. He says the three of them have what it takes to win any type of HOH comp.
1:15 PM BBT – Cedric tells Cam that he thinks his nominees will be Angela, Kenney and Tucker. Cam is surprised to hear Tucker’s name.
1:18 PM BBT – Cedric also lets Chelsie know who is likely noms are. Chelsie tells Cedric that there’s talk going on that he is in a guy’s alliance with Cam, Kenney and Tucker. She says she thinks Joseph told her about that and called it the bros alliance.
1:22 PM BBT – Cedric mentions being worried about Cam and Leah, but Chelsie says Leah is playing Cam. She says Leah really wants Tucker, but Tucker shot her down and she went back to Cam. Chelsie says Leah is playing a nasty game by flirting with the men while trying to start a girl’s alliance so she’s protected by both the men and the women. She says if Leah wins HOH Cedric would go on the block.
1:30 PM BBT – Chelsie tells Cedric he should keep Leah as a replacement nominee option or keep her on his radar for the target soon. She adds that Makensy only has one more week with the power.
1:36 PM BBT – Rubina is nervous about noms, but Tucker tells her she has nothing to worry about. He informs her that he knows who the nominees will be and she definitely isn’t one of them.
1:40 PM BBT – T’Kor tells Rubina that the smart move for Cedric would be go after Leah. Rubina agrees. T’Kor says he won’t do that though because he thinks Leah is cute.
1:44 PM BBT – T’Kor says she thinks there could be bro thing going on with Kenney, Tucker, Cam and Cedric. Rubina says she can see that being a thing. T’Kor says that Tucker and Cam are really close and so are Cedric and Chelsie.
2:10 PM BBT – Rubina and T’Kor agree that if the opportunity presents itself this week that Kenney needs to be the one to go.
2:50 PM BBT – Kenney tells Angela that he will sacrifice his game for her. She tells him that he’s nearly done a month now and he can do two more. Angela cam talks that she thinks Kenney really does feel that way, but thinks he’s fooling her. She says he didn’t waste a month for nothing.
2:55 PM BBT – Feeds cut for the nomination ceremony.
4:00 PM BBT – Feeds return. Angela, Kenney and Tucker’s photos are on the memory wall as Cedric’s nominees.
4:02 PM BBT – Kenney tells Tucker that he (Tucker) needs to win the veto. Tucker says he plans to.
4:15 PM BBT – Everyone is either hanging out in the backyard or starting to prepare dinner.
So once again we’ve got Kenney and Angela on the block – and now Tucker for a second time. But Kenney keeps going back and forth about whether or not he wants to go home. His new deal with Cedric and Tucker seems to have re-energized him a bit, but at this point most of the house is over him wanting to go home and are ready to do him that favor whether he really wants it or not.
