Update: Feeds are finally back! Twenty hours of downtime but we now have HOH results…
The Big Brother 26 Live Feeds have been down since before Thursday’s live eviction show and unlike past weeks this season, well they just haven’t come back yet. Why? We don’t know!
Over the past many weeks this season we’ve seen the Feeds either return soon after the show for a bit before going down or just stayed off for a few hours so Houseguests could complete the next Head of Household competition. This week has been a little bit different.
Last time we saw anything new on the Feeds we were watching the HGs get ready to evict Quinn on Thursday afternoon and then *poof*. So now we wait and see. There has been no message from CBS and no official updates. We only heard the rumors that an endurance competition was going to happen.
It’s entirely possible that an endurance competition did take place overnight. It’d be very disappointing for CBS to exclude that from the Feeds, but it wouldn’t be the first time. And after several pitiful performances from this season’s HGs maybe production wanted to just keep control of it for editing. But now that it’s been 14+ hours since the live show ended and no return of the Feeds yet? That ain’t an endurance comp.
Maybe part of AINSLEY’s “twist” for her junior partner, probably Zingbot, came in for extended shoots. But again, it’s been 14+ hours. That is more than enough time for anything reasonable. And no, I don’t think something terrible has happened. My guess is they’ve just got the Feeds down and moving at a leisurely pace and will turn them back on when they want while disregarding the fans out here. That’s my guess.
So we’ll be watching and will post updates as soon as we hear anything, but for now… *shrug* We don’t know!
