Big Brother 25: Veto Ceremony Plans for Week 1

It is Monday, which means the Power of Veto Ceremony is set to take place inside the Big Brother 25 house at some point today. There has been a lot of paranoia circling throughout the house, alliances have been exposed, and some Big Brother houseguests are still scrambling to make connections. Will any of this play a role in how the Veto Ceremony for Week 1 of Big Brother will go?

As we all know by now, Reilly won this week’s Head of Household Competition and was put in charge of taking two of the houseguests that were nominated on Premiere Night off the block. Kirsten started this game on the wrong foot and the other houseguests quickly started to distrust her and wondered if she would be a liability to their game. In the end, Reilly chose to take Jared and Cory down and assumed that they would be loyal to her for doing so.

This week’s Power of Veto Competition was the only chance Kirsten had to save herself, but in the end, Hisam walked away with the win. The plan throughout the week was for whoever won the Veto to keep the noms the same so that Kirsten could be evicted at the first live eviction of the Big Brother 25 season. However, there was some question as to whether Hisam would stick to this plan since he seems to be working pretty well with the BBB alliance that consists of Felicia, Cirie, Izzy, Mecole, and Bowie.

Yesterday on the live feeds we got confirmation of what Hisam’s plan was. Hisam confirmed with Reilly that he would be sticking to the original plan and would not be using the Power of Veto at this week’s Veto Ceremony.

After multiple people approached Reilly that proved to her they knew about her alliance, she got very paranoid. She talked to Matt and Jag about how she is worried that Izzy will be pulling in the people without alliances and mentioned Red, Luke, Bowie, and Mecole specifically. There was a brief moment last night where Jag and Reilly contemplated trying to get Hisam to use the Veto so that Reilly could backdoor Izzy. However, Reilly quickly realized that was a bad idea and that she would put a huge target on her back if she did.

Stay tuned for confirmation coming up later today! In the meantime, do you think that keeping the nominations the same is the right move?
