Big Brother 25: The Best And Worst Moments Of Week 9

A lot happened in the Big Brother 25 house this week. Some of it was good, some of it was bad – depending on who you ask it might vary on what falls under which category. And that’s the magic of Big Brother. You can love what I hate and I can hate what you love. And for some reason I’m rambling. Probably because I’m tired, it’s late and the Live Feeds still aren’t back after Thursday night’s episode.

But enough rambling, let’s get to the good and the bad of Big Brother 25 this week, according to your’s truly.

The Best Moments of Big Brother 25 Week 9

Cameron Wins HOH. I mean why not? He just won his way back into the game after they tried all season to get him out, so why the hell no win HOH too. It’s just laughable at this point. At this point, Cameron might just win his way out to the end. Anyone who does get him out the first chance they get deserves to win the whole game. And if no one does, then he probably deserves to win the whole game.

Felicia’s Veto Speech. Who else was happy we finally got some real drama in the BB25 house? I know I was. For the first time in actual years I think, we got to hear the nominees speak at the veto ceremony. And Felicia didn’t hold back. She went all in Cory, and then after the ceremony she and America went at it. And that mess ultimately helped Felicia stick around to make jury.

Mecole’s Parting Shots. The only thing I like more than scathing ceremony speeches is a nice jab or two from the evictee on the way out. And Mecole delivered. From her Cory dis when he tried to hug her to her saying Cory, America and Bowie have an alliance and then named off the people who would follow her out the door. I only wish we had seen more of that energy from Mecole this past week and the rest of the season. Unfortunately she laid a little too low.

Live HOH. Who doesn’t love a live Head of Household comp? There’s nothing like finding out who wins before that live eviction hour is up. Of course the HOH technically kicks off Week 10, but I have to just go ahead and mention it here.

27 vs. 49,500. From one extreme to the other, Bowie Jane wrote down 27 for the number of minutes that Jared was a zombie in the BB25 house while Felicia overshot with 49,500. When Bowie wrote 27 minutes I choked on my own air. Jared was a zombie in the house for like a week. 27 minutes isn’t even a half an hour! Classic.

The Worst Moments of Big Brother 25 Week 9

Cameron nominates Felicia and Mecole. I gave Cameron a little too much credit last week, I think. For him to just use his first HOH back in the game on Felicia and Mecole made me really question his reasoning. But I guess in the end it worked out considering Mecole was going to sneak on by.

The Exorcist Veto Competition. I really like the budget they have this season for competitions. I guess with no scripted shows in production because of the strike, they have some extra money to spend. Not to mention they are saving money on cutting the jury back to seven.

Cameron wins Veto. I don’t like when an HOH holds all the power and doesn’t have to make any hard decisions during their HOH reign. Everyone needs some adversity.

What were your top and bottom moments of Big Brother 25 this past week?
