Big Brother 25: Final 7 Houseguests & Double Eviction On The Horizon

Felicia Cannon reaches F7 on BB25 - CBS

Three weeks and seven Houseguests left to go on Big Brother 25 until the season finale on November 9th. Hard to believe we’re just now reaching the Final 7 stage of the season on Day 80 but even that won’t last long with another Double Eviction on the horizon with next Thursday’s live show. So where do we go from here?

The game is dividing along the lines of those with the power and those waiting to see what will happen to them next. Jag Bains has just secured his second HOH win in back-to-back fashion and his power-adjacent ally Matt Klotz is right there by his side. I don’t see anything shaking that position up between those two right now, but that still leaves five other HGs up for targeting and overnight these two started to set some plans for the weeks ahead.

Right now the power duo of Jag & Matt have two pools to pick from on their targets: Cirie & Felicia or America & Blue. Notice Bowie isn’t in there and that’s because I truly believe she’s their goat to drag all the way to F3 and dominate in those last rounds of the game.

Matt got a little ahead of himself and was promising Felicia safety last night, but Jag might not be on the same page from the onset just yet. When Matt & Jag first started talking last night there were joined by Bowie who was once again excited to not be on the receiving end of the targets.

Jag has already let his closest allies know he doesn’t want to play around with a Backdoor this week. Really there’s no need for that with so few options. As for their plans, the only HG I’d be too worried about would be Blue winning Veto and oh, well look at that. Matt says Blue would be coming for them if she stays which makes her the perfect target this week.

Using the scenario of a Blue target and eviction this week we’ll head into the DE with Jag watching from the sidelines as Matt and Bowie fight to keep him safe. They’ll be up against America, Cirie, and Felicia. If it’s a Q&A comp, which I’d expect given the hurried pace of a DE, then we’ve got a pretty even playing field. I meant the last Q&A gave us Bowie versus Felicia, right?

If anyone but Bowie or Matt win that DE HOH then I’d expect Matt & Jag to end up on the Block. I know Cirie is enjoying a padded buffer from the fray of nominating anyone so she can play the beloved, neutral position, but if she falls backwards into HOH I do think she’d try to get Jag up and out. Just has yet to be seen if she’d also put Matt up to make it happen or try to protect that relationship by doing a Jag + Bowie nom pair. The danger there is Matt winning Veto and saving Jag. You’ll remember that Matt has his one and only comp victory this season with the Veto comp in the last Double Eviction, so he can do it when he needs to.

I expect there’s a decent risk for Jag that he could be evicted in the upcoming Double. Probably better than 50/50 that he’d be safe though either through an initial HOH win or the Veto coming into play. The latter there being a reason why Matt does need to go up against Jag on the Block to make sure it comes down to a “one or the other” out the door to Jury.

By the end of Week 12 and the Double Eviction rounds we’ll have five Houseguests and two weeks to go. The end of Big Brother 25 is finally in sight. Hang on, everyone!
