Anyone else having a feeling of deja vu this week? Not only did we get the same Big Brother 25 HOH as last week, we also get the same initial target. But will the week play out the same way as last week? Time will tell (but our spoilers will tell you a lot sooner).
Sunday night’s late episode picks up after Cory’s eviction. America is sad. Blue is happy and doing her usual talk a big game in the Diary Room. And Jag is hoping America won’t come for him if she wins HOH. And she’s hoping the same.
And then there’s Bowie Jane. Cory got in her head before he left and she’s pretty paranoid with Jag and Matt. And in a super rare moment, we even get a post-eviction Diary Room session from Cory to tells us he was lying to Bowie Jane, just trying to see if anything he said last week would stick.
And since there’s not a lot really show in this episode, it’s time for the Head of Household competition so we can find out who really needs to be paranoid this week. For this HOH, the players have to navigate Johnny Mac’s demented dental office to locate five skulls that match up past Big Brother winner’s x-rays. The person to match the five correctly first wins HOH.
After a lot of mistakes and running back and forth, Jag wins the completion. That makes him HOH back to back if you are keeping track.
America is obviously worried, so she decides has to get to work on Jag. She says she knows she can turn this around. Meanwhile, Jag tells Matt that he has to nominate America, but he has to decide who sits next to her – and who is ultimately his target.
And he decides it should be Blue. And he talks to her to let her know she’s going to be his pawn. And she is actually kind of excited about it. But is she really going to be the pawn?
Enter America. She goes to Jag and tells him that there’s no reason for him to go after her this week. And then she promises him that she won’t put him up next week if she wins HOH and promises she would use the veto on him. Jag says he can’t promise her that she won’t go up but he can make her not his target.
Jag is enticed by America’s offer, but he has to decide who would be his target if not America.
Let’s get to the nomination ceremony and find out. Jag nominates America and Blue. And he lets us know that his target is Blue. Jag is more concerned about Blue winning HOH and coming after him than he is America. And with her promises, he seems more inclined to trust and protect America this week than Blue.
