Say farewell to the latest twist of Big Brother 24 as the Festie Besties are about to be split back up this week in the Big Brother house. Thanks to spoilers from @RBBQ we know these are the last two days of the strange twist that has tethered HGs and their games for the past several weeks.
The Festie Bestie twist arrived at the start of Week 3 when the HGs selected partners during the endurance HOH competition. Each elimination offered the opportunity to pick a partner and with Po’s Pack on its upward swing the allies all spread out to provide safety in their numbers. Well, that didn’t last long for the Pack!
Since then the players have had to be nominated in tandem, compete with shared victories, and strategize together, or even against each other. It’s been interesting, but not one of my favorite twists. Though are any twists these days ever too good?
Over the past two weeks as a Houseguest was evicted the remaining Besties had to pick a new duo. Terrance went to join Joseph and Monte while Taylor went over to Alyssa and Indy. These decisions and even the potential for what may happen led to strategic choices intended for extra protection in the case of nomination and even a flop by Nicole to oust her Bestie.
As of now, the HGs don’t know this twist will be ending on Thursday but they’ve been anticipating it would wrap up soon. With the Besties twist done and gone I imagine we’ll get some other unnecessary replacement teased by Julie on Thursday and details to come soon after in the house and Sunday on the show.
