Now that this week’s Head of Household on Big Brother 24 has picked their nominees for the week, it’s time for the houseguests to play in this week’s Power of Veto Competition! With there being only seven Big Brother houseguests left in the game, all but one will compete in this week’s competition. Read on to find out which BB24 houseguest will be sitting out and what the plan is right here!
Michael went on to win his third HOH Competition of the season after Kyle was evicted from the Big Brother house on Thursday night. He went with the plan that he felt best helped his game moving forward and nominated Terrance and Alyssa for eviction. Terrance is his target this week and he is pretty aware of that fact. He is also not too happy with the way that Michael is playing the game and has threatened to taint the jury when he gets there.
After his nomination on Friday, Terrance told Michael that he isn’t even going to tell Michael that he is going to fight for the Veto, he is just going to expect to go to the Jury house on Thursday night. It seems to me that he doesn’t plan on trying to win the Veto, however, I’m sure that was said out of anger at being nominated.
If Terrance or Alyssa win the Veto, they will take themselves down, from there Michael will be forced to put up a renom. Taylor is already working on planting seeds of doubt with Michael that Monte might not be trustworthy and that it seems Terrance is trying to turn Monte against them. If Michael wins the Veto, he will likely keep his nominations the same since his target is already on the block. However, he has told Alyssa that if he hears the house hinting at getting rid of her rather than Terrance, he would be open to using the Veto on her.
Now, onto who’s playing!
The Power of Veto Players for Week 9 are:
- Michael (HOH
- Terrance and Alyssa (Noms)
- Brittany, Taylor, and Monte
Brittany will do whatever Michael wants her to with the Veto. At this point, it is to keep noms the same, but we have seen how quickly things can change inside the Big Brother 24 house. Taylor will also keep the noms the same, she isn’t particularly close with either of this week’s nominees, so she shouldn’t feel obligated to use it. Then there is Monte, the only houseguest that might be a bit of a wildcard this week. Monte has been getting closer and closer to Terrance as the days go by and with him realizing that Taylor might not be swayed away from Brittany and Michael, he might use the Veto on Terrance to try and force Michael into nominating Taylor.
Also, a fun fact, Terrance drew a HG Choice chip and chose Taylor over Turner to play for him. Turner and Monte are both very confused by him choosing Taylor, but Monte thinks it has to do with Terrance wanting to fall on his sword and play the game from the Jury house.
