Thursday night officially kicked off jury and Week 6 in the Big Brother 23 house. Shortly after the live broadcast, the Live Feeds came back with a new Head of Household. Read on to find out what the plans are and if the Cookout Alliance has been able to patch up some of those cracks we’ve seen forming.

Big Brother 23 Live Feed Highlights – Thursday, August 12, 2021:
6:59 PM BBT – Feeds return after live show and HOH competition. Kyland is the new Head of Household.
7:05 PM BBT – Kyland talking to the cameras says he is actually not freaking out and says him winning HOH is good at the end of the day. He says the six is in power but he’s concerned that Azah didn’t pick a King to go up against (it was a knockout comp).
7:06 PM BBT – Kyland says Britini had the first pick and she picked Kyland and Sarah Beth to face off. Kyland says Britini should be panicking right now, but he honestly probably won’t put her up, he says.
7:07 PM BBT – DX tells Hannah he’s afraid Kyland will waste his HOH. He says he hopes he takes out Alyssa.
7:10 PM BBT- Kyland thinks that DX has the best shot at getting the power and says that’s a good thing. He also says noms are really early tomorrow so he has to have meetings tonight.
7:14 PM BBT – Tiffany tells DX and Hannah that she’s upset with herself. She was up against Kyland and he didn’t know the answer and she guessed wrong so then she was out. She says he was the last person she wanted to win. She says she can’t be mad though because he tried to let her win and she still got the question wrong.
7:16 PM BBT – DF tells Kyland he didn’t want Tiffany to win HOH. DF tells Ky that Azah is upset that he kept picking her in the competition. Kyland said he had to because had he not picked Cookout members it would have given them away.
7:20 PM BBT – Azah is really upset that Kyland kept picking her and didn’t throw the HOH. She tells X that Kyland knew he didn’t have to win it.
7:22 PM BBT – Â Kyland has indicated he’s putting Claire on the block. DF asks him who he will put next to her. He says he will let the house decide. Then he says it might be Tiffany.
7:30 PM BBT – DF asks Kyland if SB isn’t his target and Claire is, what if Claire wins veto. Kyland says if things go that way, SB might end up his target.
7:40 PM BBT – Kyland tells Xavier he was trying to throw the HOH to Tiffany.
7:50 PM BBT – Xavier and Kyland talk about putting up Claire and Tiffany but say that could be tricky with the votes (since two of the Cookout members wouldn’t be voting then). Xavier asks if he could do Claire and Britini. Kyland says he could do that.
7:53 PM BBT – Kyland tells X that he’s still good with the six.
7:56 PM BBT – Tiffany and Azah are talking about Kyland winning HOH. Both are upset with him. Azah thinks he should have thrown it and Tiffany is upset because she wanted SB gone this week and now that won’t happen with him as HOH. Tiffany says she doesn’t trust SB and doesn’t trust SB and Kyland together. Azah says she feels the same way.
8:02 PM BBT – Azah suggests they should call Kyland out on his BS.
8:27 PM BBT – Hannah says she thinks the people getting the 100 BB bucks will be DX, Britini and Alyssa. She thinks the 75 will go to Xavier, Tiffany and DF.
8:38 PM BBT – Tiffany has gone to talk to Kyland. She told him all about the day before when the Jokers came to the HOH room when she wanted to talk to Britini. She tells Kyland how upset she was that two members of her alliance did that to her. She says she would never have done that to them. Kyland tells her that he knows there’s tension between her and DF, but DF told him there’s no deviation from the six.
8:40 PM BBT – Tiffany tells Kyland him winning HOH was not the best option. She says sending Britini home isn’t the best for them. Sending Alyssa home will upset Xavier, and she says she can’t see how he could put up Sarah Beth. Kyland says he thinks the 1 and 2 spots to go at jury were interchangeable, meaning SB and Claire. Tiffany says if Claire has to go up, so be it. Tiffany says BUT she doesn’t know if they have the votes to securely send Claire out if she’s on the block with her. She says she can’t vote and Kyland can’t vote, so then they only have four votes from the Cookout, and that’s too risky. He agrees.
8:44 PM BBT – Tiffany lets Kyland know she’s still all in with the six, but she lost some respect for DF and Azah.
8:45 PM BBT – Kyland thinks Alyssa and DX are going to win the powers. He says Alyssa’s business partner has 20 million Instagram followers.
8:50 PM BBT – Now Tiffany and Kyland are talking to clear things up and try to get back on the same page like they used to be. Tiffany tells Kyland that he’s supposed to be her final 2, but they don’t talk enough anymore. She says she also thinks he’s closer to SB so he doesn’t get all of her thoughts. She says she trusts Hannah a lot and then it would be X next. She says Azah and DF are at the bottom.
8:52 PM BBT – Kyland is annoyed that he did what he was supposed to do with SB as his pawn, but now it feels like there are repercussions to that because they’re the only ones seen as a strong duo.
8:54 PM BBT – Tiffany says Claire is her person, but she hopes everyone knows that she does what she can to get Claire on board to for things that benefit the six. And when Claire has to go, she understands. She says Claire is her person, but she is not closer to her than the six. She says his duo with SB looks to others as something almost as big and threatening as Christian and Alyssa.
9:00 PM BBT – Tiffany tells Kyland that he said SB needs to go next, but him as HOH would prevent that from happening. Kyland reminds her that the other thing they talked about was that SB and Claire could go in either order.
9:02 PM BBT -Kyland circles back to what Tiffany said about him being her two but then suggested he might have fallen below Hannah. Tiffany says he is not second or third, but their communication is second.
9:03 PM BBT – Kyland tells Tiffany he feels that he is always open to communication and she’s the one who usually isn’t interested in talking. He says he approaches her to talk and she kind of brushes him off. She asks when she has done that and he says every day. She is confused by that and he tells her that if he asks her what’s up she says nothing much. And she says well when he asks her that she doesn’t realize he’s trying to talk game. She says if he tells her they need to talk, she will talk. They decide that they are just really dealing with a lot of miscommunication between each other. She says he misreads her a lot.
9:10 PM BBT – Kyland had said he felt like she needed space. Tiffany tells him that’s only sometimes and she knows that since she’s living in a house with all those people, she can’t have much space. She says from this point forward, she does not need him to give her space. They hug and agree to both try harder.
9:22 PM BBT – Alyssa meets with Kyland. She lets him know that if she had won HOH she wasn’t going to nominate him or SB (she was going to nominate Kyland though). Kyland tells Alyssa that as of that moment, he couldn’t see a reason why he would need to go after a remaining King.
9:40 PM BBT – Xavier is upset over Christian leaving. He tells himself to get it together and says he’s not just playing for himself, but for Danielle, Da’Vonne, Bayleigh, Swaggy … he says he’s playing for all of those people who wished they were in the situation he’s in right now.
9:46 PM BBT – Tiffany talking to Xavier about how she’s upset she couldn’t win HOH. He tells her that at least it’s one of the six. She says she agrees with that.
9:48 PM BBT – Tiffany says she just feels like she let everyone down. She says she didn’t want Kyland to be HOH, but says X is right that it’s good it’s one of the six. But she says that means SB isn’t going home and that she’s probably going to lose Claire. She says that’s fine, but it’s still hard.
9:53 PM BBT – Tiffany tells X she doesn’t know if they’re playing the game right. X says every season there is a big dominant alliance. Xavier says the reason they are doing what they’re doing is because in no other season have people who look like them been able to do what they’re doing. He says he’s thinking of Danielle Reyes, Marcellas, Lawon, Candice, Howard …
10:03 PM BBT – Tiffany asks X if he knows what Kyland is going to do. He says he thinks he’s leaning toward the Claire route. She asks if it would be Claire and Britini. He says he’s not sure but that’s what he suggested. X says he doesn’t know what would happen if Claire comes off the block.
10:15 PM BBT – Kyland talks with Britini and asks about why Alyssa wasn’t getting picked each round of the knockout comp. Britini says she didn’t want to show her cards so she picked him and Sarah which hid the plan.
10:20 PM BBT – Tiffany laments to DX how she should have won HOH but hit the wrong button. DX warns Tiffany that she’s letting her emotions in a little too much and needs to keep up the friendly facade even with Sarah. Tiffany agrees.
10:30 PM BBT – Claire, Tiffany, and DX reflect on how no one named Xavier in the knockout comp. They see how well-positioned he is with all the former teams.
10:45 PM BBT – Tiffany apologizes to Sarah for not being more considerate the other day when she asked Tiffany for a chance to talk with her.
11:00 PM BBT – Britini offers Kyland two, no make it three weeks of safety if he doesn’t nominate her this week. She also says she’ll let him know if she gets a power if he’ll let her know in return. Nothing was solidified.
11:25 PM BBT – Alyssa is crying with Xavier about Christian being gone. He tells her it was so close to a flipped vote.
11:45 PM BBT – Hannah and Azah discuss the challenges of getting the Cookout together since they can’t meet as a whole.
11:55 PM BBT – Hannah is frustrated that Kyland won HOH and he shouldn’t have per their Cookout plan. Azah thinks there was a lot of personal gameplay going on.
12:25 AM BBT – DF says he struggled in the HOH comp with listening to the songs because it got jumbled up in his head.
12:55 AM BBT – Kyland gets his HOH room.
1:05 AM BBT – Kyland is hoping to still get through all his noms talks. He wonders if HGs will get up at 8AM to start them again with him.
1:15 AM BBT – Azah corners Kyland about why he kept naming her in the comp. He says it was because she’s Britini’s ally. Azah points out that so is DF. Kyland tries to shift the talk to Sarah being a target but Azah brings it back to her question about why he was going after her (Azah).
2:10 AM BBT – Azah says she’s frustrated that she asked him to throw it to her but he didn’t even though they’re supposed to be together in an alliance.
2:20 AM BBT – The conversation is *still* going on between Azah and Kyland. She’s getting annoyed and asks him to make his point.
2:30 AM BBT – Azah has finally left talking with Kyland. She’s downstairs with DF and upset. Azah feels like Kyland doesn’t listen to her.
2:40 AM BBT – DF agrees with Azah and says that Kyland has been selfish.
2:45 AM BBT – Claire meets with Kyland and offers to make a deal that she’ll vote how he needs/wants.
3:00 AM BBT – Tiffany’s turn with Kyland. They discuss how emotional Azah plays.
3:10 AM BBT – Azah now with Xavier and discussing her frustrating talks with Kyland. She shares that Kyland told her the house target would be Britini. X says he thought it was Sarah.
3:30 AM BBT – Hannah meeting with Kyland and talks about how the Cookout deal has it that the members don’t have to nom their +1, Sarah for Kyland in this case.
3:50 AM BBT – Hannah tells Kyland she’s okay with DX going next week.
4:00 AM BBT – DX and DF are lined up outside the HOH door for their turns next.
4:20 AM BBT – DX tells Kyland that he should take a shot at Xavier. Kyland counters that Sarah and Alyssa are the house targets though. Kyland thinks Alyssa might be the easiest option.
4:35 AM BBT – Kyland discusses maybe trying to get the HGs to vote on who they want nominated.
5:00 AM BBT – Now it’s DF’s turn with Kyland. Good grief it’s late for them.
5:20 AM BBT – DF suggests the noms should be Alyssa + a Joker though he worries Britini may lose it if she has to go up again.
5:25 AM BBT – DF highlights they need to evict the women in the Cookout once they get to their final six. He reminds Kyland of their F2.
5:45 AM BBT – DF went back downstairs. Kyland is laying in bed and camtalking when mid-thought he closes his eyes and passes out after a long, long night of HOHing.
What a night of Big Brother that just doesn’t want to end but they’re going to need to because they’ve got a lot going on this Friday. Nominations are set for a very early arrival (10:30AM PT, supposedly) and then this whole thing with the High Rollers Room. Lots of things to follow today so stick with us.
