Big Brother 22: Who’s In The Best Spot In The House? [Analysis]

Big Brother 22 has been a weird one. No one is working with who we thought they would. All the super popular players have been pushed out the door. And Julie Chen is going off script on the live shows. OK, that last one is neither here nor there, but weird nonetheless.

So despite all the weirdness going on, we have made it to jury so we thought we’d take a look at who might be in the best spot in the house at the moment. I’m going to rank them from the most in danger to the least in danger at this very moment in the game.

11. Kevin. Right now Kevin is the most expendable houseguest. He is in no actual alliances and he has no powers. And since there are very few people left not in the main alliance, he is probably going to end up going home this week.

10. David. While David has his power, that will likely be spent this week. So that will leave him vulnerable. And he’s in the same position as Kevin. David no longer has Tyler protecting him, and even if he did, Tyler isn’t in the same kind of position he was in Big Brother 20.

9. Ian. It looked like Ian wasn’t even going to get to jury there for a minute. Memphis and Cody have been wanting to go after Ian since Week 1. But Nicole has kept him safe with her alliance. But now even Nicole is ready to let that go because Ian told her he would feel guilty about someone winning Big Brother twice.

8. Da’Vonne. Right now Da’Vonne is in a better spot than she has been. She has Dani and Nicole on her side, and Cody thinks she’s good to keep around because she’s never won a competition. If Da’Vonne finally wins an HOH, she could do some major damage though. And I think she has the potential to even outlast a couple more like Memphis and Christmas. But we’ll see.

7. Memphis. I think Memphis was once a lot more important than he currently is. He’s still a part of that Committee alliance and he has that final 2 with Cody, but he has annoyed nearly everyone. And he has a back injury now that limits his competition abilities. I think when it really comes down to the big alliance turning, he could be the first to go.

6. Christmas. For a minute I thought Christmas was playing the right game and could find herself all the way to the Final 3 again. But after her HOH reign, her whole alliance has been making fun of her actions and some of them don’t even want to be associated with her.

5. Tyler. I get confused when I think about Tyler’s position. He’s played such a sloppy game, but with Christmas and Cody protecting him, he won’t be as easy to get out, which is disappointing to Dani who could make that strike against him this week. But she doesn’t want to swing and miss. But regardless of all that, Tyler just doesn’t have a clear path to the end like he did in Big Brother 20.

4. Dani. She might be the current HOH, but Dani has been slipping into the danger zone for awhile now. Tyler was first to want her out. And she’s annoyed Cody more often than not (even though the made a Final 2 deal). And speaking of that Final 2 deal, now even Nicole is upset with her (even though Nicole also has a Final 2 deal with Cody). So Dani might think she’s poised to be the new BB Queen, but she hasn’t exactly been playing like one.

3. Nicole. It hurts me to even think that Nicole is in this kind of position, but things are looking good for her. And it makes no sense. How could anyone on an All-Stars season let a previous winner get into such a good position in the house? It makes no sense. The only thing I can figure out is that pre-gaming really helped position her.

2. Enzo. No one is playing a better social game than Enzo. No one has even talked of wanting him out. He has the right kind of relationship with everyone. That could catch up to him later in the game, but if it gets him far enough it might not matter. And he would have a lot of easy jury votes.

1. Cody. So here we are. Some how Cody is in the  best position in the house. NO ONE left has really talked of wanting him out. I mean there have been slight rumblings, but he’s never been in actual danger. And he has so many Final 2 deals he will be the last person in his alliance to be turned on. I think this goes back to that pre-gaming. Cody came into the house with the best set-up and he had the best coaching from Derrick. I just don’t see any situation coming up that sends Cody out the door before finale night.
