Big Brother 20: Veto Meeting Plans Week 5

The Big Brother 20 veto medallion might just go in the box unused this week.

As we saw Sunday night, Bayleigh won the Head of Household competition and nominated Brett and Rachel for eviction. Brett is Bayleigh’s target and Rachel was simply a pawn. But since the nominations, Rachel has been freaking out non-stop and shifting the target to herself among her alliance.

Fast-forward to the veto competition this weekend where Tyler won the gold with plans to use it on Brett and convince Bayleigh to put Scottie up as the replacement nominee and then Level 6 could work to evict him over Rachel. Scottie spent a day or two trying to convince Bayleigh that Scottie is his best friend so that when he betrays her and uses the veto on Brett, she’ll put Scottie up for revenge. That was all a pretty silly plan since Bayleigh was leaning toward Scottie anyway. But she decided she does not want the veto used, so that’s why Tyler was going to just defy her wishes.

Rachel continued to freak out and Tyler was giving everyone mixed signals about what would happen with the replacement nominee, so even Rachel got to the point where she doesn’t want Tyler to use the veto. She thinks she has a better chance at staying if she’s next to Brett. Tyler has since realized that using the veto is not in his best interest, but he definitely doesn’t want Rachel to stay over Brett.

So as of Sunday night, Tyler was working on getting the votes to keep Brett over Rachel this week if he doesn’t use the veto. And it seems to be working (even Angela wants Brett to stay over Rachel). Flashback to 10:23 PM BBT where Angela tells Tyler that Bayleigh has the power and that it gives her the power to change the nominations. She tells him if he uses the veto Bayleigh might nominate him and Brett next week. Tyler says he’s definitely not using the veto.

This season continues to be crazy even when you think it’s going to be a boring and cut and dry week. Be sure to get the Live Feeds if you haven’t already because you won’t want to miss the drama following today’s Veto Ceremony.
