The first Big Brother 20 eviction vote is still up in the air as houseguests continue to flip back and forth on whether or not they want to vote to evict Sam or Steve. It may come down to the wire on this vote, but I’ll be glad when it’s over. This has been a long first week with all this vote talk.
Rewind to Wednesday’s Daytime Highlights report if you need to get caught up before the overnight updates.
Big Brother 20 Live Feed Highlights – Wednesday, July 4, 2018:
4:10 PM BBT – Kaitlyn reveals she’s spray tanned celebrities including Chuck Liddell.
4:35 PM BBT – Winston working again on the plan to keep Steve instead of Sam. Brett and Winston don’t know if they should try to work with Kaitlyn.
4:40 PM BBT – Winston is still pushing for keeping Steve. He tells Angela they’ll be able to bring Scottie and Steve over to their side, but Angela isn’t so confident and feels this is a risky decision.
4:45 PM BBT – Winston says if Sam was a game player then he’d go for this move, but it’s too much risk for someone that won’t be able to support them in return.
4:50 PM BBT – JC joins the discussion. Angela lets him know they don’t have the numbers. JC says he’s committed to voting Steve out. He says they’re going to be in trouble if they don’t get rid of Steve as a number on that side. The group is trying to decide who has the power app, but no one will admit to it.
4:55 PM BBT – Winston isn’t happy about JC’s plan and says things will just look bad when the vote is so lopsided and they were outnumbered. Angela suspects JC really does have the power, but it isn’t useful this week so maybe he won’t admit to it now.
5:00 PM BBT – Angela concedes to Winston’s plan. She’s now good with voting out Sam and keeping Steve, especially if they can get Steve and Scottie over to their side.
5:10 PM BBT – Winston lets Rachel know that they can’t keep Sam because she doesn’t know the game and won’t help their game.
5:15 PM BBT – Rachel says they need to warn Sam and she doesn’t want Sam voted out 14-0. Winston says it should be a last minute notice that she’s going to be evicted. They’ll tell her they campaigned hard, but couldn’t pull the votes together.
5:20 PM BBT – Scottie reports back to Chris that Sam approached him to be his ride or die. He says he told her he’d rather keep Steve. Scottie says Sam is expecting a really close vote. Swaggy agrees that it could be 7-6 or 8-5, but he’s certain Steve will be safe.
5:30 PM BBT – Swaggy lets Tyler know that Sam is talking that she expects the vote to be close. He tells Tyler that means the other side is telling her they’re voting to keep her safe. Tyler deflects that Sam is probably just guessing based on friendships.
5:45 PM BBT – Swaggy promises Tyler he won’t use him as a pawn and would consider using Angie. He boasts that only his side has won competitions so far.
6:00 PM BBT – Rachel gives Kaitlyn a heads up that the votes seem to be going with keeping Steve, so she’ll probably do that too.
6:50 PM BBT – JC tries to work on Haleigh and tells her that Sam would be a great number for them while Steve is already locked in with the other side. He encourages Kaitlyn to talk with Tyler and go with his recommendation.
6:55 PM BBT – JC questions Haleigh on her relationship with Faysal. She denies any showmance there with him. JC reminds her that if she flipped her vote she would be so far down Swaggy’s list before he went after her so she shouldn’t be afraid.
7:59 PM BBT – Feeds return. HGs had a Fourth of July party whle Feeds were down.
8:20 PM BBT – Tyler whispers to Kaycee that he knows who has the power. He reveals it’s Sam and says that she’ll be staying no matter what so she has to vote for Sam to stay regardless.
9:16 PM BBT – Jaycee tells Anglea they’re voting out Steve. Angela says she doesn’t know and Kaycee says, no we’re voting out Steve. Angela says they don’t have the votes and Kaycee says they are voting out Steve and they all need to agree.
9:25 PM BBT – JC tells Angela that Swaggy is coming for them no matter how they vote, so they might as well vote Steve out. Angela tells JC that Winston just gets scared over this vote and JC calls him a chicken.
9:30 PM BBT – Rachel tells Winston that JC said Haleigh will vote how Tyler wants her to vote. Winston says he doesn’t believe it.
9:32 PM BBT – Rachel tells Winston and Angela that if Tyler tells her to vote Steve out she’ll vote Steve out and the alliance should also. She says that Sam has better traits and strengths that could benefit them more than Steve.
9:34 PM BBT – Rachel says that Kaitlyn is voting for Steve to say so Angela asks if that means they’re banking on Haleigh voting to save Sam then.
9:43 PM BBT – Winston tells Brett about JC working on the girls to vote out Steve. He tells Brett he needs his help to convince them to evict Sam.
10:06 PM BBT – JC is campaigning to Haleigh again to keep Sam. She says that Steve has been trashing the other side for days, so she doesn’t think he’s with them so they can use him as a number. JC says he may or may not be but with Sam they at least know she is with those people (JC is not the best salesman).
10:08 PM BBT – JC gets frustrated with Haleigh and tells her she’s being naive and he’ll just go vote however he wants.
10:27 PM BBT – Tyler asks Angela to promise to evict Steve, that she just has to do it. Angela agrees and says she trusts Tyler.
10:40 PM BBT – Pop TV sends the HGs cookies for Independence Day.
10:50 PM BBT – Winston tells Rachel and Angela that they have to vote out Sam because with Steve they have the chance to persuade him and get him to join them. Rachel says if they keep Sam then she’ll always support them. Winston counters that with Steve you get Scottie’s vote too.
11:15 PM BBT – Tyler tells Sam she should tell Kaycee about having the power. (Tyler already told Kaycee.)
11:25 PM BBT – JC is trying to convince Swaggy they need to throw a couple of votes against Steve so it comes out closer.
11:40 PM BBT – Tyler pulls together L6 and tells them they have to vote out Steve no matter what. Winston suddenly agrees but points out he still thinks Sam is terrible at this game. He fears Sam will tell the other side who voted to keep her safe. Kaycee says it’s already obvious.
11:45 PM BBT – Tyler warns the group that Scottie runs back to Swaggy with everything he hears then Swaggy tells Tyler.
11:50 PM BBT – The Bros are back on board with keeping Sam as long as Tyler is sure he has Kaitlyn’s vote.
11:55 PM BBT – Tyler has a signal for the group’s vote. If his hair is down, then vote out Steve. If his hair is up, then vote out Sam.
12:00 AM BBT – Tyler finally gives in and tells L6 that Sam has the power. He explains he’s been trying to get the 7th vote so Sam can save the power and use it next time one of them is in trouble.
12:10 AM BBT – L6 is excited. Winston can’t believe Sam fooled him and has been playing when he thought she wasn’t. Group wonders how the power will work and if it’s a renom situation. Tyler will go with his original plan to renom Bayleigh if that happens, but they hope Swaggy is eligible now.
12:40 AM BBT – Brett finally gets it and notes that it’s obvious viewers loved Sam because she’s similar to Donny and viewers loved him too.
12:45 AM BBT – Tyler says they still need to do his hair signal thing because if the vote isn’t going their way then there’s no reason to expose themselves, but he’s still going to try to get the seventh vote.
12:55 AM BBT – Brett is worried that Rachel coming for him (showmance wise) is ruining his game with the other ladies. Tyler notes that no one thinks they’re a showmance.
1:30 AM BBT – FOUTTE along with Bayleigh meet to discuss the votes. Haleigh has realized Kaitlyn could be the swing vote. They’re gathering to make sure everyone is on board to keep Steve.
1:50 AM BBT – FOUTTE has officially expanded and named themselves The Sacred Six as they now include Bayleigh.
2:15 AM BBT – Faysal tells Swaggy that he doesn’t like how Haleigh is playing both sides and if she keeps it up then she’ll have to go.
3:15 AM BBT – All the HGs are finally off to sleep.
Well that night changed a lot, but did it really? L6 is back on track to try and keep Sam, but they’re still shy a vote so it may not matter. Kaitlyn appears to be their best chance at flipping things, but we’ll have to see how the talks go on Thursday ahead of the live eviction vote.
