Big Brother 20 Episode 28 Recap: FOUTTE Gonna FOUTTE

It was do or die for Faysal in this week’s Big Brother 20 veto competition, and in what has become typical fashion, he loses a veto he actually needed to win. And by one point, no less.

Wednesday night’s episode starts right after Angela nominated Haleigh and Faysal. Angela is enjoying her villainess slant and Faysal is once again blindsided. Haleigh, however, is not shocked.

Angela lets us know that Faysal is the target this week. She says she’s not too worried about Haleigh because they can take her out next week.

Faysal finally admits to Haleigh that he was wrong for targeting Scottie and sending him home. Faysal decides to give a rundown of all the dumb moves they and their alliance have made. And it’s kind of remarkable hearing it all at once. Faysal, Haleigh and their alliance really managed to muck up everything this season.

It’s time to pick players for the veto competition. Joinging Angela, Haleigh and Faysal are Kaycee, JC and Sam (via Haleigh’s houseguest choice). Faysal told Haleigh to choose Sam, which shouldn’t have been a struggle for her since her other options were Tyler and Brett. But you know what they say, FOUTTE gonna FOUTTE.

Angela decides to tell Haleigh that Faysal is actually the target. Elsewhere, Faysal asks JC if he wins the veto will he take him off the block. JC doesn’t want to say he will. JC says if he were to do that then they’d be nominated together next week. Faysal lays it out to JC that JC is the next target anyway because Tyler, Angela, Kaycee and Brett aren’t coming for each other. JC blows it off and says they’ll talk about it later.

Let’s get to the veto competition. The players this week have fake travel to a fake planet to catch balls and fake alien squids and collect them. Each round the objects being thrown at them are worth more points. The person who collects the most points wins the veto.

Basically, everyone flopped during the competition except for Kaycee and Faysal, who are both football players. So no surprises there.

The Points

JC – 2
Haleigh – 13
Sam – 2
Angela – 16
Faysal – 32
Kaycee – 33

Kaycee wins the power of veto! By one point! That had to be harsh for Faysal. So close. So FOUTTE.

Since Haleigh is pretty sure neither her nor Faysal will coming off the block, she decides she just has to try to hang out with the other houseguests and hope the target stays on Faysal and not her. She doesn’t want to be isolated. Faysal, of course, isn’t too happy with this decision. He wants to spend his last days in the house with Haleigh, so he asks her why she is hanging out with the other people. She asks him if she is supposed to just isolate herself with him all week. He walks away and starts what has become a days-long slumber in the have-not room (aka the BB death sleep).

To no one’s surprise, at the veto meeting, Kaycee does not use the Power of Veto. So it’s Haleigh vs. Faysal on the block. One of them will join the other jurors in the Battle Back Thursday night.
