Big Brother 19 HGs practice a new comp

Big Brother 19 spoilers revealed an upcoming competition likely as part of Thursday’s night’s events. The Houseguests were sent out to the backyard and greeted by a shuffleboard platform. Time to practice.

There’s nothing too fancy here, just plain shuffleboard, but as we know Big Brother likes to do, the final version will be more complicated. I’d also guess it could be the second competition of the night and not even featured in Thursday’s episode due to time constraints.

Remember this will be a Double Eviction show on Thursday and for the past few seasons at least that episode has ended without a new Head of Household. So while there are two evictions, there usually isn’t time for a second HoH comp. Instead that would normally be held a few hours later and we’d get the results when the Feeds returned.

Now this year they’re shutting down the Feeds for more than 30 hours starting midday Thursday and we won’t get them again until Friday around 9PM PT (12AM ET) when the special episode finishes airing on the west coast. We won’t find out who wins HoH until that Friday show or soon after when the Feeds return if for some reason it isn’t part of that episode.

Who do you think could pull off the win here? This one could really be anyone’s game so physical or mental strengths won’t be much of an advantage of skill of hand and probably a nudge of luck in there for good measure. Share your predictions below.

  1. If i was a guessing man,would say Paul or Matthew but who knows,at this point anything can happen on BB,even the worst player can sometimes stumble over Lady Luck and win a comp!

  2. So I think that with all the ‘upsets’ in comps lately (Cody and Josh winning HOH on separate occassions, Mark winning 3 comps in 3 weeks, Jason winning POV), I think this will happen come DE:

    1. Cody gets evicted 6-1
    2. Matt wins HOH and nominates Mark and Elena
    3. Elena wins POV and the renom is Jason
    4. Mark gets evicted 5-1
    5. Jason wins HOH

    I’d like to know what you guys think and if you beg to differ or not.

    • At least if it is Mark who is the 2nd evictee, he and Cody will be good company for each other in the Jury House. They’ll have a week to enjoy themselves.
      That’s a big “if” though. Mark is capable of winning HOH and/or POV.

      • If its something to do with the shuffle board that they practiced on today than its anyone’s game. All you need is a little bit of skill and a whole lot of luck! Geez Raven could even win it!

    • 1. Cody is gone but I am still holding out that somehow they choose to send Elena home instead. As for the rest of this, I am going to say my predictions are based on Cody going home.
      2. Paul an Mark will try the hardest for the HOH win and that could bite them hard. My guess will be one that hasn’t won HOH yet could win. I will say Raven may do it and Noms Mark and Elena.
      3. Mark wins VETO and the renom could be Alex. Their excuse, we did it for you this past week.
      4. Elena gets evicted 6-1.

      11 HG’s left, 3 on the block and 1 HOH who can’t vote which leaves 7 to vote in the first eviction. The second eviction will still leave 7 to vote. I forgot about the third nom in the first eviction but then remembered it at the last second. Don’t worry Perry, it happens to the best of us.

  3. We know that Paul really wants to win HOH tomorrow night in the DE. He is going to be sweating it. If he loses to someone like Mark, he’ll be scampering to make deals (he’s a gamer). It will be interesting to watch him in action.

    I’m glad no more safety comps and temptations. That was fine for a minute but I’m glad we are back to the regular format. The herd is thinned out so we get to hear some deals and strategies, etc. Unpack the Purell – Gonna be a lot of handshaking going on in the next couple of weeks!

  5. One thing that could possibly salvage 30 hours of live feeds going down after a DE is if they were to postpone the HOH comp until Friday night. Not holding my breath through.

      • And not hear the bugle, the XTreme call, the tanDAMs (tandems) , etc. ((not sure why they prod CBS spelled it that way))
        Finally get some sleeping sleep, not being disturbed/wakeups in the middle of the night. Of course, it seemed he was usually up early getting coffee, eating CHEX, Alex’s cereal, and cleaning.

      • He sat there in the DR telling the viewers he can’t stand being and talking with any of the rest of the HGs Doesn’t happen often, but this time I agreed with him.

  7. I’m am so glad I didn’t get the feeds, because i can barely get threw BBAD! Some times i even fast forward because i tape it, it’s the first time i have done that since the show started years ago.

    • Yeah CBS deserves to have a SUCK count of paid subscribers to the 24hr feed after picking these very unlikable people.

  11. The only way I’ll be happy is if somebody, anybody plots against Paul. They don’t even have to get him out, I’m so desperate for a game to watch. This season is Paul tortures people, Paul calls the shots, Paul isn’t even questioned……I’m bored.
