Big Brother 19 Live Feeds Week 1: Wednesday Night Highlights

The Big Brother 19 house remained pretty calm for the rest of the day as houseguests remain convinced their side is going to control the vote at the fist live eviction.

Elena and Mark on BB19

Cody and Jessica continued to alienate themselves and push their once-strong allies farther away, which is a crazy thing to do the night before a new HOH competition. If you missed the earlier Highlights for Wednesday, read our daytime report first.

If you’ve got the Live Feeds (Free Trial) then you can watch all of these moments with the Flashback feature to go back and watch those important conversations or funny scenes you may have missed.

Big Brother 19 Live Feed Highlights – Wednesday, July 5, 2017:

3:50 PM BBT – Christmas tells her allies she wants to stay as long as she can and help how she can. She’s aiming to make Jury and then dip but would hope for a chance to come back another year and play without a broken foot.

4:10 PM BBT – Houseguests sitting around the table having some food. Cody and Jessica trying to look as unhappy as possible with the intent of making the other HGs think they think Jillian is going.

4:50 PM BBT – Mark tells Jason that everyone is in agreement and they’ve got their next three weeks of targets set then everyone gets to Jury. Mark says the plan is to let Paul get HoH.

4:55 PM BBT – Back upstairs Jess & Cody are thrilled with their performance. They brag about how shocked the others will be and how they can’t wait to get this vote over with. Cody is very upset with Matt, calling him “that snake!”

6:05 PM BBT – Kevin tells Jason they’d have to put up Mark and Matt, but if either comes down then Cody goes up and out. Jason says Cody is with them, but Kevin thinks that’s very temporary. Jason still seems to think Christmas will be evicted.

6:30 PM BBT – Matt continues to question Cody’s decision to target Paul and Christmas without ever asking any of his team.

6:50 PM BBT – Christmas is trying to figure out Paul’s plan since he won’t give them details (because that worked so well for Cody). Christmas says she’ll fight to pull her weight for the team and doesn’t want to be a burden to them. Dominique tells Christmas to focus on her mental strengths.

6:55 PM BBT – Christmas expected production to say she couldn’t go back in. She was prepared to plead and beg.

7:30 PM BBT – Dominique, Matt and Mark are talking about targeting Cody and Jessica next week. They discuss whether it would be better to backdoor one of them or put them up together so they can get at least one of them out. Dominique says she prefers Cody go over Jessica.

7:40 PM BBT – Josh and Paul talk about trust. Josh tells Paul he trusts him so he’s still planning on voting out Jillian.

8:00 PM BBT – Cody asks Ramses if his punishment is his vote is erased this week. Ramses tells him no and that he’s voting to evict Christmas. Ramses tells Cody he can’t tell him what the punishment is but wants to be sure they have his back next week no matter what (R must be planning on putting himself on the block next week). Cody says he can trust him and they shake on it.

8:01 PM BBT – Josh tells Mark and Dominique he wants to roll with them as long as he can. He gives them his word that he’s voting with them this week.

8:10 PM BBT – Matt and Mark talk about how much they misjudged Cody and Jessica. They are embarrassed they defended them but are happy to vote against them this week.

8:25 PM BBT – Josh again assures Christmas that he wants to work with her and Paul. She tells Josh that he is playing a much better game now and the house respects him a lot more. She assures him that he is no longer anyone’s No. 1 target.

9:11 PM BBT – Jason and Josh talking game. Jason tells Josh not to screw them over with the vote. He tells him they need to stick together, vote out Christmas and win HOH. Josh agrees. When Jason leaves the room Josh seems upset or torn.

10:04 PM BBT – HGs gather for Dominique’s talk show. Her first guest is Christmas. She discusses her injury and general chit-chat.

10:13 PM BBT – Cody and Jessica are still hulled up in the HOH room while all the other HGs are hanging out downstairs.

11:40 PM BBT – Josh talking with the “outsiders” about the vote. Alex told him they were all voting out Christmas along with Mark and Jessica.

12:00 AM BBT – Ramses is concerned about Josh flipping, but Kevin feels they’ve got Josh’s vote.

12:25 AM BBT – Josh suggests to Alex that they don’t even go after Cody and Jessica but rather let the other HGs go after each other.

1:00 AM BBT – Alex is feeling good about their votes and reassures Jillian they’ve got it for Christmas to go.

1:39 AM BBT – Josh worries about his decision. He is camtalking and says the larger alliance is just a group of showmances and they’re not really going to make him part of the team. He knows he can be the swing vote. Josh doesn’t think Christmas would put herself out there for him like he’s having to do for her. He still thinks he would have gone home this week without that golden apple. Josh says he likes Paul, Christmas, & Dominique, but doesn’t trust the showmances.

1:50 AM BBT – Josh continues to camtalk saying it’s best for his game to keep Jessica and Cody around so he can lay low and let them be targets. He says he hopes one of the showmances flips in this vote.

1:55 AM BBT – Josh says he respects and loves Paul so he will show his loyalty through his actions.

2:10 AM BBT – Josh is back up and goes to talk with Alex and Jillian. Alex tells him to keep playing along with Paul to get more info. Josh says they should let Cody and Jessica get by so others have to take care of them themselves. Josh is resentful that there was a large alliance that didn’t include any of them.

2:30 AM BBT – Alex warns Jillian not to tell Josh anything else because he’s a loose cannon. They consider a fake alliance to make Josh happy. For now their five is Alex, Jillian, Ramses, Kevin, and Jason. Josh remains on the outside.

Right now the eviction decision is almost completely in Josh’s hands. He seems to be going back and forth with his vote and at times sounds like he’ll side with Christmas and Paul by evicting Jillian, but he did show signs of flipping back to keep Jillian and going with the outsiders. It will definitely be an interesting eviction.

  1. If there was ever a person I really feel sorry for in BB, it is Josh. He’s like Mork in Mork & Mindy … innocently just one planet away.

      • You betcha! Really glad to see you here again, too – you always keep me informed and get me straight – among other things, couldn’t believe you knew all that info about Panda’s! Too cool.

      • What about Alex? I want to know to LOL 😂
I always need to be filled in, you were great last year helping me also! Happy to see you back 😚

      • Sorry but this wasn’t about Alex, but about real pandas in general! LOL Good to see you here too!

      • Alex? What info? I want to know to LOL

PS. You do mean Alex right? And no disrespect whatsoever, I promise! But do you know that using the word panda is to some people like using the N-word? No disrespect whatsoever! I don’t care! Meaning, my husband is a quarter Chinese there for my daughters are of Chinese blood also & we don’t take offence whatsoever! But some people would, hence the whole breakdown of Megan. Again, please please please don’t take offence to what I said and please don’t think that I think that you are being racist at all, I don’t think that whatsoever! ❤️

    • Hahahahahahaha! I think that is the sweetest (and somehow most accurate) portrayal of Josh’s BB game!

      Na-Nu-Na-Nu… :)

    • Too Funny 😁

Although I’m sure 3/4 of the people who read this have no idea who work and Mindy are LOL 😂

  2. It’s all going to come down to who can talk to Josh last and make him feel comfortable. The problem is that Paul might avoid Josh (or not talk to him enough) because he knows how you can annoy people if you’re talking to them too much. The problem is that Josh needs the reassurance all the way up until the vote. He needs to have that constant feedback. He’s the opposite of most humans in general.

      • You still think that? & isn’t Paul driving people crazy already by constantly being in their ear?

    • Paul needs to connect with Josh more. It seems Josh has a soft spot for him. And honestly part of me feels bad for Josh feeling emotionally insecure about things.

      • Hopefully after the story LassoAsso told, that may just have been the clinker for him to stick to the other side and vote Jillian to leave. It was about killing rabbits, although he wasn’t the one that killed them. Josh was disgusted by it. Kevin was cheering him on.

      • What?? What story about killing rabbits? 😭
You are just a bowl full of info :-)

      • What’s this, Joni? I have been in and out of the feeds this morning, but I must have missed this story. First off, who is LassoAsso?? Is that a new nickname you have for Jason? Also, what is this about killing rabbits?

Ugh…first Corey last year and lighting goats on fire or something like that and now killing Thumper! BB…no more animal killers please!!

So, fill me in my friend. What do you mean by this post and when did it happen

      • It’s become my new nickname for Jason. It took place last night in the room he sleeps in. Kevin and Alex were there too. Josh was dumbfounded.

      • So what happened? Did Jason confess to being a part of a huge Bunny ring?? Spill sister! haha

      • It’s a very long story. The only one really laughing the hardest was LassoAsso himself. Josh just sat there with a disgusted look on his face. Alex and Kevin kept interrupting before Lasso was done. Not sure I want to even give a timestamp to this. He lost my respect at that moment.

      • Well, that makes me like Josh more and dislike Jason! What was the context of it? Was he killing the bunnies for food? Or fun? Regardless I still don’t like it but, people hunt deer & what not. So I will fault Jason less if it was for sport/food. So sad!

      • You really do have to go see it. He was describing how this one bunny after getting hit would flop over and struggle to get back up.

      • That’s disgusting, and heartbreaking! I don’t want to see it. Now I don’t like the guy! At all
Sick! Thanks for the info babe

      • Too funny! & I agree! It should be an interview question. Plus kind of scary, it is a fact that most murders/serial killers killed cats, dogs plus plus when they were younger!
        Eek 😬

      • Yes! I was completely shocked at how different he was once he was in the actual game. His introduction video versus how he is behaving/emotional are like two totally different people!

    • I agree although I wouldn’t say Paul knows to leave people alone… From what I’ve read from Matt and Brandon of the overview from the live feeds, it sounds like Paul is getting on peoples nerves because he is constantly in their ear. But maybe that’s stopped!?

  3. I guess I am the only 1 who wants Jillian to stay. I just feel like Christmas can’t fully compete so for any physical comps she essentially has to be carried through, week to week while contributing little. That would get old.

    • Jillian is just such a non entity in the house so far. Christmas at least gets a rise out of her opponents in the game giving us something to watch on the Feeds. Jillian? They could replace her with a mannequin and few HGs would notice.

      • And we would not have to listen to that baby voice and popping her knuckles all the time!! Drives me crazy..Christmas gives us good stuff to watch on the feeds..I hate that she broke her foot. Jillian is as boring as they come. Josh worries me with this vote.

      • Yeah me too, I think he might cave and vote with Cody. I don’t know, I guess I will have to read on…

      • I get it, I know I am the only one. I am not attached to either really. I do like Christmas but I think Jillian is ok. I need to see more, I am not attached to any of them yet.

      • She isn’t mean or unlikable. She’s just there. Christmas is more interesting. Just like Paul is way more interesting than Cody ever could be.

      • Agreed! Jillian is not really playing the game, she’s just…there, and that bothers me. For someone who’s been OTB since night one, she should be forming way more bonds than she is, instead she is letting everyone else secure her safety. Imo, that alone should send her packing!

      • Couldn’t agree with you more! Finally someone agrees with me on that being the reason!

      • Totally Joni! I mean think about it. If you were OTB since the get go, wouldn’t you be working hard to form relationships with everyone? Jillian is letting everyone (Jason, Alex, Kevin & even the wicked uglies-Jess&Cody) do her campaigning for her!! For *that* alone, she should go!

      • I’m sorta torn on this one personally. Jillian hasn’t showed me much yet and so I don’t particularly care if she stays or not at this point. However, I’m really not a Christmas fan. A lot of her confessionals have just rubbed me the wrong way. While she does help keep things interesting in the house, I just think she’s the bigger threat and it makes more sense to VTE Christmas over Jillian. On the other hand, I’m totally rooting against Cody and Jessica so anything that would upset their plans would be good in my book. LOL so as you can see…I’m not sure which way I really want things to go! ;)

      • Well I dont think you want to shine Cody’s ego any more than it already is! Xmas staying will knock the sharp corners right off of him. That’s the only reason I want her to stay.

      • LOL! Hilarious, Matthew! It’s sad that you’re probably right in your perception of Jillian and her impact on the house.

From day one, she’s been otb, but has that inspired her to make her presence known? No. In fact, she spends more time talking to herself than her fellow HG at times!

Jillian is so boring I think I’d rather watch paint dry than watch her on live feeds! Even Michelle sleeping all darn day was better than Jillian and I detested Michelle! HG who have nothing to offer but a warm body & a vote shouldn’t be in the game imo.

      • OK that made me seriously laugh out loud!

But in her defence (& I truly can’t believe I am saying this because I agree, it’s like she’s not even there) but we have seen it on big brother and survivor plus some other reality TV shows where at first someone is very quiet and lays low ( not quite as much as her/Jillian/Mannequin) but then something clicks and out of nowhere they become super super entertaining and start playing super hard.
The first season Aubrey? Audrey? Or maybe it wasn’t that at all? She was on the brains team and then played a few years later? Anyway blah blah… For the first half of her season-ish I didn’t know anything about her or her gameplay, and then out of nowhere she came out firing. Remember that?
Happy dance 💃🏼 I remembered something aside from her actual name but I think it was Aubrey or Audrey LOL anyways, this was a stupid comment! LOL

    • Not necessarily. Remember Will Kirby won BB without winning a single competition. It was his social game that won him the game and Christmas has a far superior social game to Jillian’s.

    • I don’t think Jillian would perform much better with two good legs. Guess i’m just tired of people floating to the end. I want to see real competitors.

  4. This Jess & Cody isolation thing is getting pathetic!!! It’s at Shelley & Clay levels of insane & they at least talked to other people!! Ugh.

    • It’s going to play against them in the next few weeks. It’s their fault, they are shooting themselves in the foot.

      • They absolutely are! If *both* sides of the house are commenting on your isolation, you can be sure it’s going to contribute to your downfall in the game! I like how the girls are thinking, though – planning on taking Cody out, weakening Jess. They’ll “be there for her,” & she’ll owe them. Smart gameplay, IMO.

      • The if josh flipped. It may be hard to get jecody out. There’s still the hoh but Pauls side HAS to win and steal at least one of Cody’s allies if xmas goes and I got a feeling she is going home. Not good.

      • Cody been very good at comp, I feel that Paul side might end up having to evict Jess 1st. We should have a pretty good fight for the next few weeks.

      • Didn’t even come down to greet Christmas’ arrival from her MRI. That will not go unnoticed.

    • I think they are a little bit worst than Clelly. Each season I hate the lead showmance more than the other. Those two (Jecody) are a piece of work. Kelly wasn’t as stupid.

    • Yeah, at least Shelley & Clay socialized, in addition, I cannot ever remember either one of those two being as antisocial and hostile as Jessica/Cody.

  5. Personally I want Christmas to stay, both because she’s more interesting but also to see Cody’s reaction. He is so nasty when he thinks he has the upper hand, if/when he doesn’t will he shape up or go all Paulie? Also so impressed with Kevin. Entertaining and gets on with everybody, and I think he sees Paul for what he is up to and isn’t letting him order him around. Could this be the year the older guy has a real shot at winning?

    • You’re right but josh is absolutely nuts. I cant stand players like that. I wanted Ramses out after Cody but it has to be him. I respect his logic and concern of being the underdog in the other alliance amongst the couples, but all that extra reassuring each side he’s wholeheartedly on their side is totally unnecessary, especially this early in the game. He’s making himself an enemy.

  6. I remember when this show used to cast real everyday people. Now it’s all models/actors/actresses. Production meddles in the show way too much as well. I’ve watched every season of BB and this one is by far the worst one yet. Now maybe it will get better but with this cast of A-Holes, I doubt it. I’m tired of them bringing past players back too. There was no reason to bring Paul back again except for the fact that the ratings are declining drastically and they felt that he could somehow bring more views. Does anyone really believe that “America” voted to give him that pendant to keep him safe for three weeks? The producers clearly gave that to him because they knew he would have been gone week 1. I don’t believe any of the so called voted on by America gimmicks. It’s all done by the show’s producers to sway things in the direction they want. It’s not possible to prove that America’s votes are even counted. I see people on this message board talking about how they think this is the best season ever and I wonder to myself if they’re actual fans or just fake ones placed here to post favorable comments. How a true BB fan can watch this season and think it’s great is beyond me.

    • And once again you’re someone who doesn’t have evidence that production rigged this game for Paul. You’re basing this on conspiracies. One can use that logic for Jason in Big Brother OTT saying that the game is rigged for him.

Granted the gimmacks are getting stale but still

    • I’m not sure what BB you are talking about b/c as far back as I can remember, and I have watched every season of BB, the show has used a certain casting formula when choosing HG, with the possibility of the exception being the very 1st season. You say they *now* cast models/actors, etc… They have always cast at least one of those types. Lisa Donahue, season 3 winner was a model who used her BB win to pursue an acting career. This season was cast using that same formula, except (unlike the last few seasons) there are actually as many thirty-something HG as twenty-something and that, for a lot of us *true* fans, is a refreshing change.

As far as your position that production rigs the game… I would ask you to produce evidence to support your claim. Providing opportunities for the game to shift or a HG to receive a prize is not rigging. Sure, production provided Paul with the opportunity to come back, but they left it in the hands of the HG whether or not he returned. Of course, the probability ratio of a HG not taking that money was slim, but that is not rigging the game. As far as the three weeks of safety…I do believe America voted for Paul to receive that, which is why production made that the 1st prize. It was the only way Paul could stay in the game long enough to build the bonds he would need to carry on in the game. It is something production does each season they bring back vets. This is nothing new that the show created just for Paul!

BB is a social experiment/game designed to bring people from all walks of life together and watch them interact, which is why they stick to their formula. I personally think the producers did a decent job this year in casting, but that is simply my opinion. Just like yours is your won and you’re entitled to it, however, when you start calling the game rigged, you should produce evidence to support such a claim before making it imo.

    • I would assumed you’re not watching the show anymore. Good for you!…hasta la vista baby.

      • Ha!..Now you’re the ‘grammar police. You’re so unhappy with the show, obviously you’re still watching it? You’re posting about it..You’re not a BB fan. You should watch the ‘Gong Show

  7. I still question how Xmas can compete with an injured foot. Will she have to sit out physical competitions? If so, how can she possibly win?

  8. Thoughts:
    – I’d think it be interesting for Christmas to stay so she can go after the power couple. It would be interesting Paul/Christmas vs Cody/Jessica. Interesting rivalry there.
    – Glad Matt and Mark are realizing that Cody is a liability. He’s hurt their game with his selfish attitude.
    – Its sad to see someone so delusional like Cody/Jessica is. They think they’re the king/queen of this house. Uh no my not pretties- kings and queens don’t isolate themselves from others.
    – Honestly Cody’s fatal flaw is himself. He is so emotionally constipated that he won’t open his heart to people. He gave Paul the cold shoulder for no reason. Look gunning for Paul is one thing, but atleast TALK to him. Not to mention he threw everyone under the bus. I think he’d make a good villain if he wasn’t so stupid. Its like Paulie without emotion.
-Jessica is pretty much Aaryn Gries’ long lost sister. Egocentric, cruel, petty and easily jealous. Not to mention delusional.
-Also how the heck is Matt a snake? He’s been straight up with people.

  9. This is the 1st vote of the season and it shouldn’t be this difficult. No one should really care this much about who get’s evicted. These early alliances always change up so why are they trying to keep “their” people? There is a lot of game left to play.
Also, is it just me or does this HOH seem like the longest in BB history? I feel like Cody has been HOH for at least 2 weeks.

    • Yes! I feel like Cody has been HOH for like forever!!
You’re right, there is still a ton of BB to play, but this is like the 1st stand off. The house is so clearly divided that each side is intent on winning the first battle.
However, you have a point, BB is a war and sometimes you have to choose your battles wisely. :)
