‘Big Brother 19’ House Revealed – Take The Tour [PICS]

Here is our first look at the Big Brother 19 House as Julie Chen takes us through this season’s theme, “summer of temptation,” where twists await the Houseguests each week.

There’s the “power room” bedroom with $6,500 of cash framed on the wall there. We’ve got the “showmance room” with beds set up to encourage cuddling and bonding. Ugh. The lounge couch looks awesome (and really hard to get out of).

Ohh I like the bathroom set up. What, no sand this year? Big couch set up there in the corner, as always, but it looks nice and comfy this time around. Heading up stairs we find a “greed” themed Head of Household room. Julie says it looks like a high rollers suite in Vegas. I can see it.

Backyard looks awesome. The new pool from last year still looks great and the national parks backdrop is gone this time around. It’s more of a garden setting and with the temptation theme (Read more about the Big Brother 19 twist here.) I think they may be going for an apple orchard look. Very nice.

Check out the gallery of photos from CBS below and watch Julie’s video house tour as she walks you through the Big Brother 19 cast‘s new home for the summer. Enjoy!

Big Brother 19 House Tour Gallery:

Let us take you through the new BB19 House and see what there is to see. Houseguests are close to moving in and, if they’re lucky, will be hanging out in these rooms for the next three months. Would you want to stay with these designs? I think they’re pretty great, but let’s see how long it takes for the BB19 cast to trash the place!

BB19 Kitchen:

You can see the new kitchen here with the Memory Wall but sadly no key slots so looks like they’re sticking with the little key turn thingy. Blerg. Also I wouldn’t get too worried about the place settings. It’s just staging for photos at this point.

It’s set up like a bank vault in parts and has the theme of “greed,” says Julie Chen. I like it!

BB19 Bathroom:

All the mirrors is funny since they’re covered over in the photos while the mirrors in the walls aren’t, obviously. It’s a posh design here too with big, soft couches that should be ideal for encouraging hang out and whisper sessions this season.

BB19 Bedroom & Hallway:

We’re getting to see the money room, which has framed fake cash up on the walls. No photo of the other room at the moment, but that could end up being converted to the Have-Not room, assuming that’s back this year. In the video below Julie Chen walks us through the missing room and calls it the showmance room. Let’s hope that’s the one that gets changed over. We’ve also got a look at the hallway with clothes storage that leads to the living room.

Update: More details have revealed the lovey-dovey room will stay put and it’s the third, unseen bedroom that will become the HN room. That’ll be in the London room from last season so they’re shifting around the location.

BB19 Living Room:

I always like seeing two chairs instead of three when it comes to eviction time so I’m hoping those stick around and aren’t swapped out for a small couch. Along the walls we’ve got “MONEY”, “POWER”, and “ALLIANCE” logos in bright purple colors. Right next to this we’ve got the foyer, the last thing the evictees will get to see.

BB19 Lounge:

The Big Brother Lounge is back and still no photo booth around this time. They do however have a giant couch that looks darn near impossible to get out of unless you liquid-fy yourself and slide out. I wouldn’t recommend it. Maybe that’ll get changed like they did the other year after a few days of use.

BB19 Upstairs:

Head upstairs to find the return of the loft lounge, which looks great again this year and offers more chances of overheard conversations. That’s always fun for us. You can also see down that balcony hallway where the phone booth was last season. Gone is the short door and hello full size door…

BB19 Backyard:

Note: I’ve seen several questions around about the glowing blue “doors” in the last outdoor pic. That’s not the Den of Temptation room, that’s just the reflection of the Memory Wall as this photo was taken from inside and through the slider.

Catch some rays and exercise in the backyard on Big Brother. They’ve changed out the national parks backdrop for another nature setting of a garden or orchard, perhaps. Looks good out there!

    • I found it! Not really a fan of the red, white and blue in the kitchen..don’t really like the big words on the wall in LR..but..everything else looks great!

      • Whoops! I had the bathroom (which I love!) on the brain. Thanks for catching that! I, of course, did mean lounge. :) But in ANY room, I still question apples stuck on a wall. A design disaster!

      • Either they’re not real apples OR they will be swapping them out for fake ones PDQ. They know that the house gets infested with ants & I’m sure they know the HG’s aren’t going to eat them OR throw them away!

      • Oh, they are fake! But apples on the wall is just weird – theme or no theme… But, overall, I like the design of this house better than any other in a long time!

      • I immediately went to Snow White, despite the apples being green, not red. Then I think forbidden fruit and Adam & Eve (though it was probably more accurately a pomegranate). My guess is the designer was figuratively alluding to either/or. There’s a lesson in there somewhere, I’m sure!

      • There is a small, wooden tree with red apples, if I’m not mistaken. It’s a Decor piece.

      • The theme is temptation this year. Temptations of power, money, and prizes will be offered. If they are accepted, consequences will follow. It sounds interesting if it is played out right!

  1. I’m really enjoying the new look. I think the chairs look more comfortable in more rooms this year. Should make it easier to break of into smaller groups. I think this house will look great on the feeds. I just wish we could be watching feeds from the moment they walk in like BBOTT. 1 week till the premiere though!

    • Yes! That first night of BBOTT was so good. Many seemed to think at that time that we’d get the live walk-in on the feeds for BB19. I had my doubts and didn’t get my hopes up. Good thing I suppose.

  2. So that last picture of the backyard it looks like there is a new door on the left wall. From where the picture was taken its obvious the house is behind the camera man. I wonder if that’s the temptation den?

    • The Temptation Den will be the previous “pandoras box,” “paris room” “co-HOH room.”

    • Nah, that’s a reflection of the main foyer door. They took the pic from inside, through the slider. I almost didn’t share that pic since I thought it might create confusion.

      • I wondered about that but it seemed to fit so perfectly along the wall for a reflection. Thanks for the clarification.

      • There is a new door at the end of the HOH balcony…near where the phone booth was last season. Likely leads to the same old room, but it the door’s location is new.

  3. It’s different, that’s much is clear. I do like the sofas throughout rather than bench seats and/or chairs or side couches. The kitchen was oooookay! Love the temptations throughout with those apples. The HoH room looks like it has post office boxes on that wall than a Vegas theme..LOL Bathroom looks way too tacky with those venetian mirrors…one would have sufficed with square mirrors on either side of it. Same ol pool table I see! (haha). The round and double beds to make out were weird. Why would we want to encourage make-out sessions. I think I had my fill of Paulie and Z to last a lifetime without the need for a round bed or any bed for that matter! Should have stuck to the cramped cars they had in the Have-Not room…make making out more difficult! hahaha

    • I think the bathroom is my least favorite room. I agree, its very tacky with all of the mirrors.

  4. I actually really like the design—although I personally would never design my house like that (lol!). The bathroom and HOH rooms are something—reminiscent of The Cosmopolitan in Vegas and the Gilded Age (latter). Not a fan of the kitchen design, because it looks out of sorts with the other rooms (more patriotic vibe). Pretty positive the HGs are also going to look out of sorts in some of these rooms, too, especially with the heat wave that’s going on now in L.A. (ugh, over 100 today were I’m at!). Will be funny to see their slummy outfits & flip-flops in that lavishly decked-out gold HOH room.

  5. I like this version. I like the words as reminders on the wall to keep their head in the game. And I like temptation being everywhere! From the size of that HOH sofa, people will def sleep in the HOH room (other than the HOH)! Lots of sofas throughout for strategizing and looking shady, even in the bathroom.

  6. Thought I should have a good look at the house now ‘cos once those HG’s move in, it will never be that clean again.

  7. Another year when the decorator should be shot. The interior looks cheap and all of the over-used patterns will drive me crazy by summer’s end.

  8. Yay! BB is baaaack! FINALLY! Love the new house even if it is a shade tacky. :) So the new twist is temptation…kind of like Pandora’s Box-2.0 I guess. I like that there is a little more diversity in the HG than there was last year.

  9. I don’t like the lounge, I prefer it when there is actual furniture to sit on, not lay on the floor scenario, that being said, the house is still the same with new colors. I wish they would make the house different every summer. It’s not that hard being it is a set on a soundstage on a studio lot where they are constantly making and breaking down sets in record time. Oh well…. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/4e4a16a0a7cd4442a13dd774cb424abb994267353c01bcae58a2fbd2f87462ae.gif
