Big Brother 17: Did Vanessa’s Target Give Up & Roll Over?

Vanessa may be calling the official shots this week, but that other HoH seems to be the one getting what he really wants. Now with just a day away from the next eviction it looks like the campaigning may be over.

The final noms of the week were put at odds last night when Austin decided he needed to make another big push to get his romantic competition out the door. Now with that looking even more like a lock the target may have given up.

Flashback to 1:35AM BBT 7/15 Cams 3/4 on your Big Brother Live Feeds to find Jackie Ibarra and Jeff Weldon hanging out in the hammock. He’s frustrated and she’s letting him vent over what’s been going on. Jeff realizes Austin has been lying to him and the big push behind him being evicted.

Jeff had worked on Liz’s vote and she told him she didn’t want to see him go, but I doubt she’ll vote for him at risk of her own game. John wants to vote to keep Jeff as thanks for his help these past few weeks, but Austin says he may go back on the deal they made if that happens.

The votes just aren’t there for Jeff and I wouldn’t be surprised by seeing a little light campaigning on Wednesday, but Jeff seems ready to go. In his late night hammock talk with Jackie he says he’s pleased with the game he played and thinks if he hadn’t been himself in doing it then it would have gone even worse.

“I have to accept the fact that if it’s my time to go then I’m going to go home,” says Jeff and receives an agreement from Jackie. Jeff admits that maybe he played a little too strong (likely) but he doesn’t have any regrets about how this all went.

Weldon suggests that it was also in part just bad luck for him. Had any of the other Houseguests won HoH in a crapshoot competition then he probably wouldn’t be up on the Block and going home. Maybe, but it could just be happening the next week, Jeff.

Let’s see what happens on Wednesday and Thursday morning, but right now the votes are against Jeff and we all know it. Time to get ready for some questions with Julie Chen.

  1. Jeff for sure will be evicted tomorrow night. Cannot wait to see who wins the HOH competition.

    • Vanessa needs to go home and cry on her 4 million dollars!! She is annoying!!

  2. ‘Romantic competition out the door’ ~ Why not go out on the elementary school playground and knock each other out?

  3. If Vanessa doesn’t go home I am so done with Big Brother!! Go play with your millions somewhere else!!! Ugh!!!

  4. Jeff made deals with practically everyone in the house. Started rumors and now people found out. I knew a while ago the minute people figured him out he was gone.
