Diary Room: Judd Daugherty Wraps Up Week 3 On Big Brother 16

It sure has been another crazy week in the Big Brother house! I feel like I watch it different this year than I did before. I get nervous, excited, anxious, annoyed with the players like I always have but this season I feel like I have more compassion for them.

I especially felt bad for Jocasta when she was sick but when Donny guaranteed her safety with the veto I felt like I seen another side of Jocasta. Sure Jocasta cried and all that which seems to be the theme of the house this season but she also showed me as a viewer how deeply she really wants to be there in the game and that earned her some respect in my book. Speaking of the tender hearted let’s move on to Caleb….

Now I know everyone has been talking about his obsession with Amber from the get go but this week I feel like he is getting a little too possessive. I know that a day in the Big Brother house can feel like a week and if you like someone you like them no matter the circumstances but damn I feel like he is not only going to ruin his game but Amber’s as well. I know Amber has made it clear time and time again that she isn’t into Caleb, but I am afraid that since people know how loyal he is to Amber that they will basically have the showmance curse without the showmance!

Had I not been watching the feeds I would have almost expected the majority of the house to flip and vote Caleb out and keep the Lone Ranger Devin this week. It is way easier to play the game from my couch than it is in that house though so I know that they are doing what they think is best for them as frustrating as it may be.

I loved how they interviewed Donny’s family this week. Donny’s family seemed like such nice people just like Donny. I thought it was great when Devin was evicted and Julie had him guess what the truth about Donny really was. Donny is who he says he was after all but I am still a little confused why someone would come into the Big Brother house with a Harvard Medical shirt on… Maybe I missed something there?

At the end of the eviction episode I see a competition that reminds me a lot of the competition that I had that lead to Spencer and I rocking those blazing hot chicken suits. When Julie explains they will be working with partners I immediately thought that it would be a frustrating competition to work with someone in but at the same time it may make it a bit easier because you are doing less work than you would do on your own.

I am kind of over this new twist because I feel like the HOHs are playing it safe and probably smart by working together but I want to see someone win it that is going to be a wildcard! I don’t have a favorite but I do have several people that I really like in the game. With Frankie and Cody winning HOH I first thought maybe they will go after the “floaters”, but with Frankie being a part of team America this week and team Americas task is to put up a threat this week I think it could get interesting. Couldn’t you put up anyone you wanted and say any excuse of why they are a threat and still complete the task? I guess we will have to wait and see….

I really hope Cody keeps HOH and it doesn’t hurt his game this week. I think with Devin gone this week everyone will be looking for a new person to dislike. The game has just gotten warmed up so I’m expecting to see some real game moves this week!!!! Thanks for reading and I will post again Monday morning.

  1. Love you Ju-DoubleD! Hope to see you on the next all-stars so keep in shape to win some comps and don’t trust too quick this time. Being a former HG you know better than us what it’s like in there but it’s frustrating to see HG make wrong moves. I think if Donny and Hayden had got some others to save Devin and used him they could have went far or at least made it interesting. Look forward to next weeks update.

  2. You are so right Judd! They are trying to justify that Amber is a threat just because they don’t want to get any blood on their hands. Unless production givens them criteria to follow, they are always going to work around these TA tasks however they see fit LOL!

  3. The Harvard Medical shirt isn’t too uncommon. I have one myself. I got it at Kohl’s for about $5.00
