Big Brother 15 Spoilers – Three HGs Nominated In New Twist

The absence of nomination chairs for Big Brother 15 as hinted by Julie Chen during her BB15 house tour has been explained. This season there will be three weekly nominees, not two per the usual routine, facing potential elimination, raising the stakes even higher for eviction nights now scheduled for Wednesdays at 8PM ET/PT on CBS.

While CBS is holding back on most of the specifics we’d like to hear, they do confirm the nominations will be made by the HGs and not be viewers as some fan has suggested as a possible twist this season. Viewers will be voting and impacting the game every week, but those votes will be going to naming the ‘Big Brother MVP’ and not the nominees for eviction that week.

How these two season 15 twists impact Big Brother when combined is yet to be known, but I’m actually feeling pretty good about these three nominations. Putting more HGs in the hot seat can only add to the drama and that’s always a welcome addition for us.

Update: Actually I guess we don’t know if the HoH will nominate all three nominees or if the MVP role will play in to that. As such I’ll reword the title to cover more possibilities.

  2. Well, I do hope the twist with the MVP live up to the hype all the way until the finale, not something they would sugarcoat the season until the halfway point of the game.

    If it’s supposed to impact the game big time, it should in effect, affect nominations as well.

  4. I don’t know how it will affect the game, all I know is I can’t wait for my summer guilty pleasure to return!!!!!!

  5. 3 for the road sounds like a good recipe for extra drama. 2 noms could always band together and work to get the 3rd evicted. Having 2 conspire against you instead of just one is double trouble. I can see this working until maybe the final 5 or final 4. But by that time the new twist may go the way of the dinosaur.

  7. I’m very intrigued. I’ve been hoping for some changes in the game and it looks like we’re going to get some. This information is welcomed and makes me look very forward to the premiere!

    Now I’m ready to learn allllll about the hamsters! Tomorrow is going to be a fun day for BB fans! *bigthumbsup*

  8. I like the three nominations instead of two. It will give the houseguests more choices during the week of who to evict especially if they decide to shift their votes to another HG on Wednesday morning.

    But I wonder what the Big Brother MVP gets each week? Of course the downside is, if fans love you, the other HG’s aren’t and might target you for actually playing the game. Hopefully it makes HG’s play the game…

  10. Voting house guests out, the routine of that should change without them knowing how the vote out is going to be determined. And to be determined the “Minute” of voting’ That ought to liven things up! More DRAMA! LOL

  11. What if the MVP power is to remove one of the HGs off the block? Like it had to be used one one of them to get the number down to 2, but they could decide who to remove. Working alongside the veto, that means up to 4 different houseguests could be up at one point or another every week. Of course, this does make being MVP a rather dubious honor, as one may not WANT to be forced to use this power.

  15. Julie said America would be affecting nominations so I’m predicting that one of three will be chosen by the MVP. But I do also like Clap’s idea of initially three nominees and then the MVP whittles it down to two. Either way, this will definitely change strategies. Very interesting.
