Big Brother 26 Live Feeds: Angela Threatens To Reveal Quinn’s Deepfake HOH

Angela Murray on Big Brother 26 - CBS

Remember when I said Angela could be safe this week if she didn’t find a way to screw it up? Here we go! Overnight on the Big Brother 26 Live Feeds we found Angela threatening to out Quinn’s Deepfake HOH power.

Earlier in the day Angela had promised Kenney that if she was evicted that she would whisper to him a “very powerful” secret which many of us quickly guessed was her knowledge of Quinn having the other Big Brother AI Upgrade power: Deepfake HOH. You’ll recall that power would let Quinn takeover any of the first four HOHs and name the Noms himself in hidden secrecy. Well for some dumb reason Quinn spilled those beans to Angela. SMH.

Later on Monday Angela must have shifted gears from giving that info away as a parting gift to instead trying to use it to keep her in the Big Brother house and creating a distraction elsewhere. Sitting around in a large group in the backyard with who looks to be Cedric, Tucker, Joseph, Kenney, and Kimo, Angela explains how the Deepfake HOH work. She tells how the power lets that HG “trump the HOH noms” and she says she knows that 100% to be true. She’s also quick to note that she does not have the power, but still “knows this 100%.” Despite all that Angela holds back on naming Quinn as the power holder.

After Angela leaves the HGs discuss what she’s shared and now Quinn is there. He’s gotta be seriously regretting sharing anything with Angela and just waiting to see when he gets out’d as a result.

So we’ve got Angela on the verge of revealing who has the Deepfake HOH which she has already explained to HGs. Then we’ve also got Tucker who is completely convinced that Lisa has the power and has been pushing for her eviction this week. Put those two together and you’ve got an interesting situation.

Angela tells Tucker that she knows he knows who has the power. Yeah, he thinks it’s Lisa. Angela starts going on about Quinn betraying her by telling T’kor that she had said to watch out for her and the Three-C’s. Angela flat out says Quinn has it here in her discussion with Tucker, but he’s still holding out that Lisa has the power and doesn’t seem to believe Angela. “Quinn is not the person who I think has it,” Tucker tells Angela.

Later Angela talks again with Tucker out in the open of the backyard while Quinn is standing right there. She tells Tucker that she will keep her silence on who has the power as long as she stays in the game. Angela obviously wanted Quinn to hear this from her.

Quinn is stressing the situation but gets support from the other HGs that Angela is hard to believe. Quinn suggests she’s making personal attacks against him. Kimo tells Quinn that he’s okay. Now mind you, I do believe Kimo already knows Quinn has that power as one of two people Quinn told, so there’s good reason for Kimo to be stepping in here and publicly supporting him in front of Lisa and Joseph.

So will Angela’s plan work or backfire on her? She shared all the details of the HOH power to the group so when it happens, and you know CBS put some $$ into this hologram twist so it’s going to happen, everyone will know Angela was telling the truth. If they stick to the evict-Lisa plan that seems to be leading the pack this week then we could see that power come into play and Angela’s vindication over it.

My curiosity is whether Tucker actually believes Lisa has the power despite Angela telling him otherwise, or if he’s just so desperate to be rid of Lisa that he’s denying all alternatives to keep Lisa in the spotlight.

Note Taran’s observation here that Angela could easily be eroding the biggest advantage she has this week: if HGs no longer think Lisa has the power then does Angela become the prime option to evict over Lisa? If anyone can get Angela evicted this week it would be Angela.
