Big Brother 16 Zingbot Zings Leave A Houseguest In Tears – Update: Full List Of Zings From Tonight’s Show| August 20, 2014 at 8:00 PM EST
Last night the Big Brother 16 Houseguests got a visit from the much anticipated Zingbot, but by the time he left some of the HGs were really wishing he had never been plugged back in this year.
As part of the Power of Veto competition the Zingbot arrived with a special guest this time: Kathy Griffin, or Kathy Lee Gifford if you ask Cody. The Zingbot cranked up the mean factor this year along with Griffin’s help while mocking Frankie for his coat-tailing, Derrick for his looks, Christine for her behavior with Cody, and plenty more.
Update: Zingbot Zings list from tonight’s Big Brother episode:
Kathy Griffin Zings:
- Caleb: You and Amber have something in common. You think she is drop dead gorgeous and she wants you to drop dead.
- Christine: There’s a belief that glasses make people look smarter. Thanks for disproving that.
- Victoria: I would Zing you, but I’m only supposed to Zing people who are actually playing the game.
- What do you call someone who is not afraid to cry, wears pink, and cuddles with men? Zach! *Kathy walks over to Zach* “Zing! Motherf**ker!”
- Frankie: That’s a nice tan, but I’m surprised you get any sun at all considering you how much time you spend in your sister’s shadow.
- This is a house of good looking dudes. There’s not one unattractive man in here. Oh wait, I didn’t see you there, Derrick.
- Donny: Your luck is very Duck Dynasty. Too bad your social game is more like Suck Dynasty.
- Cody: You’re such a nice guy. You haven’t made any enemies this summer, except for maybe Christine’s husband.
Zach’s Big Brother 16 fate is sealed this week (unless he comes back Thursday), so everyone is thinking about next week already, especially Donny.
Donny knows that he’s the clear target now that Zach is going (not that he hasn’t been the target since week one), so he’s working on the remaining HGs, trying anything he can to stay. Yesterday he talked to Cody and today he talked to Christine. No one else was up most of the day, so it wasn’t hard to get her alone.
12:18 PM BBT – Donny and Christine start talking about who you can trust in the house and who you can’t. Donny says that he has no one because all of his friends have been evicted. Donny tells Christine it’s going to be interesting when that big group (that she’s a part of) has to start turning on each other and taking each other out. Without saying Derrick’s name, Donny reminds Christine that he’s remained unscathed all season. He then turns to Victoria and says that she’s going to get carried to the end and win the $50,000 just like GinaMarie last season.
1:30 PM BBT – Their conversation is about to break up so Donny asks her to not mention they talked. He said it wouldn’t be good for either of their games. He adds that if they win HOH they should go after one of them and leave each other alone.
Christine was perceptive, but as her game has shown, she’ll do nothing with the information but turn it on Donny and present it to Cody and Derrick, thus making Donny’s target larger. But the guy has to try. Can’t blame him for trying.
Do you think Christine should team up with Donny to get the others out?
Update: Yep. 2:35 PM BBT. Christine is telling Cody everything Donny said to her. He tells her Donny gave him the same talk yesterday. They talk at length about how much they hate Donny and Zach.

The Veto competition this week on Big Brother 16 features the return of the Zingbot and we’ve got your preview of the competition and the latest round of Zings.
Players in the PoV had to connect a series of wiring to power up the Zingbot and run the circuit through a row of its most important functions: Sass, Zing, Wit, and one other that I can make out in the photo. The challenge was to figure out which path would create the circuit and light up each function along the way. First to finish would win the Veto.
Of course as with any Zingbot visit the HGs get a jab or two and this season’s were apparently rough enough to leave Christine in tears for most the night after it was over. Caleb caught a Zing over wearing make-up (he has curled his eyelashes, applied mascara, and used eye liner). Donny got one for his beard looking like Duck Dynasty, but a social game of Suck Dynasty.
It was Cody’s Zing for his near-constant touching, pawing, and hand holding with the very-much married Christine that caused all the tears.
Since CBS hadn’t included much of what Feedsters had seen of the pair doing this for most of the season I wasn’t sure if that’d get included tonight. Then on Sunday they finally included a segment on it and that cleared the path for it to show up tonight.
Update: CBS has released a quick video clip featuring one of Griffin’s Zings. I’d guess it’s about Christine, but maybe it’s about the fake ones Derrick wears around. Watch the clip below:
The votes are stacked against Zach Rance this week and while he knows things are grim he hasn’t completely given up. Or at least he hadn’t until he talked to Derrick last night.
Flashback to 2:20AM BBT 8/20 on Cams 1/2 to find Derrick heading outside to talk with Zach who is sitting alone on the hammock. They’re soon discussing the upcoming vote and Zach’s chances of survival. Derrick is blunt without being cruel and lets him down easy. It’s a very long talk.
Zach admits he knows there seems to be no chance or evading eviction but he’s torn between going out easy and full-on campaigning with any trick he can to convince HGs to keep him. This includes even going to Christine and saying he’ll put her on blast to her husband for how she’s been behaving with Cody. Derrick immediately shuts that down and points out that Zach isn’t a dirty player like that and it’d make him look very bad. Zach agrees but still wonders if it’d get him a vote. Derrick assures him it would not.
Well, here we are again, another week with Zach on the block and all signs point to him going home… again. Last time it took a miracle & who knew Caleb would be that miracle – even though Derrick took credit for it. Anyway – that was then, this is now and looks like Zach will be heading to a quick date with Julie. OR… as he goes to leave, they will tell him to go to the backyard. I hope there is a comp just for the first 4 jury members to come back in – and then they get to battle it out for HoH. BUT FIRST – lets see how everyone played this week and did they earn bacon or tofu.
Cody – 3 strips of Tofu – it hurts me to keep giving Cody Tofu since I really want him to win & make it back to back Jersey Boys winning Survivor & Big Brother. But Cody is just playing other people’s game and not really setting himself up for a win. Cuddling with a married woman & getting called out by the Zingbot was his biggest move this week. This is the first time all season he ended up on the block – and even with the odds in his favor, lost the BoB, It’s part of every players BB Bucket list to survive an eviction, and he looks pretty good to check that off his list, but not because he is saving himself.
Caleb – 2 strips of Tofu – While Caleb was not a big fan of picking skittles to determine the nominees – he went along with it anyway and with Cody as a partner, they figured it was an easy BoB win. Yeah – how’d that turn out? Caleb almost earned bacon for his part in the neighborhood watch – until he was caught trying to overhear conversations around the house.
Zach – 1 strip of Tofu (& a half strip of Bacon) – Zach’s game is just about over, not so much for what he did this week – but what he has done all season. You can only stir the pot so many times before it starts hurting people’s games. Sadly his unpredictability is the reason he will be gone but not forgotten. He gets the half strip of bacon for blowing up Frankie’s game to Donny, giving Donny some ammo, and I am hoping he comes right back in the house on Thursday and they form the new Power Duo – #Zonny!
It’s possibly Zach Rance’s last week in the house, but he was no where to be seen when it was time for the Big Brother photo booth this week. He was likely still taking his pending renom pretty tough and sleeping away the day on Sunday.
Maybe if Zach wins his way back this week we’ll see him in the next round, but we know there’s no more pink hat photos coming our way after Victoria slashed it to pieces with a knife. Yikes!
Check out the BB16 HGs photos and see who makes the best pose this week.
