Big Brother 16 Live Feed Highlights – Sunday, July 6, 2014:
Team America might end up being the more peculiar twists of the Big Brother 16 season, but as we’re still weeks away from seeing it all come together it’ll be a slow boil until we get some action.
Julie Chen explained on the season premiere of Big Brother 16 that the viewers would be voting over the first few weeks to name 3 individual HGs to become part of a secret alliance, Team America. This team of players will then go on to complete secret challenges and tasks.
Viewers had the chance last week for just one day to vote with only these instructions to guide their choice: “If you had to form an alliance with one of the Houseguests, who would you select? Choose wisely, your vote will impact the game.” So with little information, viewers voted away.
During tonight’s premiere part two the HG with the most votes in last week’s poll will take the first seat in this trio. But just as the MVP twist last year was handled, this will be a secret appointment. By Week 3 we should have all of the Team America’s players identified and assigned to the team.
Sunday night’s episode of Big Brother 16 picked up right where much of America decided to scratch their eyes out when Julie tells Cody he is not the new HOH, but Devin is.
They replayed the tape for us and it was clear that Cody fouled. And we’re quickly reminded that Devin has a daughter and he will hopefully get pictures of her in his HOH room. You know, just to make sure he really has a daughter.
Not very many people are happy that Devin won Head of Household. But everyone puts on their fake smiling faces and suck it up and join in on the celebration.
It doesn’t take long for Devin’s guilt to set in for how he treated Donny, so he decides to come clean to him that he passed judgement on him. Donny is really nice about it and tells him not to worry about. But luckily Donny tells us in the Diary Room that it’s not going to be that easy for Devin. He’s going to have to prove that he can trust him.
A lot of Big Brother 16 fans were anxious over Devin Shepherd winning Head of Household on Thursday, but just think of all the drama we would have missed without that! Best part is, Devin keeps putting Devin in a bad spot & it looks like things could get worse.
Overnight Thursday in to Friday morning Devin and Amber announced their nominations in a rushed ceremony and prepared for the upcoming Battle of the Block competition. Part of Devin’s plan was to not only control his noms and Amber’s but to also make sure he knew which pair would win and help prepare for the final nominations of the week.
The official voting with CBS has ended but our poll is just getting started. Cast your vote below and share your thoughts on which two HGs you want to see join Donny.
Lots of options here and hopefully you got your votes to help guide these picks. Did you pick for who you wanted to see earn $5K a pop or which players you thought would have the most fun and entertain us the best with their Team America challenges?
Speaking of what this alliance will be doing, we still don’t know too much. More details on that should arrive later this week when the alliance of three comes together for the first time. Let’s just hope we don’t lose another member of TA too soon like we did last week.
