Last night we all watched as Keith Henderson was the first houseguest evicted from everyone’s favorite summer reality show Big Brother. We are conducting the interviews via email which means Keith is sequestered right now and could be coming back into the game at some point in the future. Check out which newbie he thinks has the best chance of beating the veterans.
Chloe - Was there any strategy in picking Porsche as your partner or did you just think she was hot?
Keith - I thought she was hot. Of course there was strategy, I felt that if we showmanced we could fly under the radar.
Chloe – If you could change one move you made in the game what would it be?
Keith – My strategy. Showmancing would have been the key, to play like I was looking for love.
Chloe - How is being in the house different than what you imagined?
EVICTION NIGHT! Keith and Porsche are up on the block, and Keith’s delusion continues to keep me entertained. Keith is entirely 100% confident that he won’t be going home and says he’s “looking forward to resting and relaxing for the next two weeks”. Oh, you’ll be resting and relaxing for the next three months, buddy…right at home in front of your TV set.
Cassie shows her intelligence by outing Keith as the worst player ever, while upstairs we have the yin to Cassi’s yang with Jeff, Jordan, and Rachel trying to understand the basic grade-school mathematics that will allow them the numbers to own the votes.
At this point in the broadcast CBS gives us an extraordinarily annoying montage of the houseguests having a dance-off, starting a drum circle, and playing some game called “Big Booty”. But this all pales in comparison to what we’re ramping up towards. Buckle in and take your anti-nausea medication because we’re now set for the next 1/3 of the show to be an unwatchable Brenchel soap opera (complete with dramatic background music).
Here’s a high-level abridged version of ”The Bold and the Bookieful” so that I can just move ahead with the rest of this recap:
- Brendon gets upset with Rachel for “making him look stupid”. Oh, did Rachel make you look stupid, Brendon?…DID SHE?
- Rachel tries to reason with Brendon by telling him that he should relax because he has a “hot beautiful fiancé who is smart”. (I must’ve missed it on the live feeds when Brendon broke off his engagement to Rachel and proposed to Cassi)
- Brendon gets all butt-hurt that Rachel told everyone about his fruity alter-ego “Bookie”, so then Rachel apologizes for “demasculineatizing” him. (Jeff better watch out if Big Brother does another one of those “grab-the-letters-and-spell-a-word” challenges like they did the last two seasons, because “demasculineatizing” has way more letters than “technotronics”)
Now that that’s over, we get back to the gameplay at hand. Cassi is undoubtedly the best newbie in the game. In fact, she may be the ONLY good newbie in the game. She wisely understands that even though keeping Keith in the house increases the chance of the girls’ underwear “mysteriously” going missing from their drawers, it is a much more strategic move to leave that buffoon in the house since he is 100% loyal to the newbies and Porsche is not. Cassi makes a run to try and plead her case to Kalia and Shelly with little success. Kalia is afraid to vote against the majority, and with Shelly asking when Tribal Council is and wondering if Porsche will get a rose this week, I’m not sure she even knows she’s playing “Big Brother”.
Thursday’s are slow in the Big Brother house with an early HOH lockdown that has all the hg’s sleeping and then getting ready for the live show. The real drama doesn’t start until the feeds come back on. With the vets once again in control of the house and two traitors on the newbie’s side, it is sure to be a long night and weekend of backstabbing and manipulation. Who will Jordan, or the vets because we all know Jordan doesn’t think for herself, put up for eviction? Keep reading to see who looks promising.

Tonight on Big Brother 13 we’ll have our first live eviction of the BB13 season when either Keith or Porsche will be evicted. But will that HG really be sent home or instead go to sequester like last season for another twist?
The live eviction will be followed by a new HoH competition that looks like it will be a return to a mini-golf themed battle. I’ll be here posting all the results live during the East coast broadcast show so keep checking back for the latest BB13 updates.
Share your thoughts and tell us why you want to see either Keith or Porsche go home. Be sure to vote in our Eviction poll too. Don’t forget to join us tonight in the Big Brother Chat Room during the live eviction show at 9PM ET!
Hey, Big Brother superfans! It’s Matt Hoffman from Season 12, here again to give you the run-down on Wednesday night’s episode! Let’s get into this…
We left off with Porsche and Keith being nominated by Brendon and Rachel. Keith begins his first week in the house playing as poorly as I did during my last week in the house. He’s insanely arrogant and way too convinced that his piss-poor “Regulators” alliance will have his back and save him. It’s becoming abundantly clear to me why I would’ve hated my character last season. Season 12 Matt = White Keith (I chose this over “Season 13 Keith = Black Matt” because for some reason it sounded less racist).
Upstairs, Brenchel tries to explain the rules of their deal to Porsche for like the seventh time. Even Rachel can’t understand how Porsche is still confused by their simple plan. Meanwhile in the Have-Not room, Keith continues dimwittedly celebrating his nomination by dancing around with Dominic. This entire scene is extremely distracting because Keith has some enormous grayish growth on his face. I can only assume he’s been branded with the SPoS (Silver Power of Suck).
The next afternoon, Dick is called into the Diary Room and never returns. Jeff says he’s worried because he “doesn’t see dick”, which is interesting given Jeff’s recent comments on the live feeds. CBS does a great job of telling us absolutely nothing, but RTVZone.com (weekly shameless plug!) does a great job of telling us absolutely everything. Basically Dick had a personal emergency and had to leave the game permanently. Adam tells us in the diary room that he’s upset because he “really wanted to play with dick”. Do I even need to make a comment on this one?
