| September 9, 2014 at 3:30 PM EST

Everything this week has moved up a night so we’ll get the Veto events on tonight’s show and the live show tomorrow. At this point the HGs have pushed the Rewind button but they still don’t know what will happen. Though it’s not like we have more than guesses either.

This week’s Veto competition was the highly anticipated face morph and it supposedly came down to just a 23-second divide between first and second place. Ouch. Or maybe not “ouch” considering what I think it could have done to the HG who nearly won it.

Update: CBS provided a sneak peek of one of the face morphs. Can you recognize the HGs?

Reminder: Big Brother 16 Changes Schedule This Week

| September 9, 2014 at 3:05 PM EST

Reminder that Big Brother 16 schedule changes this week to new nights and will finish out the season on different days than we’ve watched all season. Check for details below and adjust your plans accordingly.

Sunday’s Big Brother will still air at 8PM but this week’s Veto episode and live show both change to new days and times. The Power of Veto show will arrive one day earlier on Tuesday at 8PM ET/PT. Then the next live eviction show will air on Wednesday at 8PM ET/PT.

Big Brother 16 episode schedule this week:

  • Sunday, Sept. 7th @ 8-9PM ET/PT
  • Tuesday, Sept. 9th @ 8-9PM ET/PT
  • Wednesday, Sept. 10th @ 8-9PM ET/PT

Big Brother will not have an episode on Thursday night’s again this season so you’re freed up from that until next summer! The next round of shows will follow the same pattern next week with Sunday, Tuesday, and another eviction on Wednesday all at 8PM ET/PT.

Toss in an extra episode on Friday, September 19th at 8PM ET/PT and that leaves us with just the season finale on Wednesday 24th at 9:30PM for a 90-minute episode where we’ll find out who won Big Brother 16! But we’ll have even more reality TV coverage after that with SurvivorFandom.com and UtopiaFandom.com so keep with us even after the Big Brother season is over!

Four-Legged Houseguest Joins Big Brother 16: Meet Izzy The Dog [PICS]

| September 9, 2014 at 1:00 PM EST

The Big Brother 16 Houseguests got a surprise this morning when the doorbell sounded and a new HG entered the game. A four-legged one, that is. Meet Izzy the dog.

Izzy won’t be staying long, but she’s here to brighten up the house and the Live Feeds for the day so that’s pretty cool. Everyone is having a great time with her and enjoying the added excitement as things are winding down for the end of the season.

Flashback to 9:04AM BBT this morning (get the Free Trial now to watch) as the doorbell rings and HGs excitedly gather around to see who has arrived. The door opens and in walks Izzy. She’s bearing a card that tells the HGs the Feedsters have voted her in to their life for the day.

HGs are immediately overwhelmed and gather around Izzy to welcome her to her temporary home. Lots of hugs from the HGs and kisses from Izzy in return. We’ll keep watching to see what Izzy gets up to, but other than the pool, stairs, and human food she looks to have free run of the house.

Update: More pictures added from Izzy’s visit to the house.

Big Brother 16: Will ‘Big Brother Rewind’ Send Anyone Home?

| September 9, 2014 at 12:00 PM EST

The Big Brother 16 Houseguests know something is going to happen Wednesday evening, but they don’t know what exactly. Heck, we don’t even know for sure what’s going to happen when the Big Brother Rewind twist hits the house.

As soon as the HGs hit the button the countdown clock appeared and it was quickly worked out that the timer would hit zero at 5:35PM BBT on Wednesday. Then last night the HGs were greeted with a message on the living room screen: “The Next Live Show Begins In 48 Hours.”

So what will happen on Wednesday? Normally we expect an eviction with the live shows, but ever since we knew the clock would run out right in the middle of the show it started to change what I thought we’d see that night.

Diary Room: Big Brother 16 Week 11 ‘Non-Player’ Rankings By Adam Poch

| September 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM EST

Well, seeing that everything that has happened the last few days of Big Brother 16 is all pointless – since Julie will come on the screen tomorrow night and say – “Lets do it all over again” thanks to the Big Brother Rewind I think doing player rankings this week is pointless as well. So – I will mix it up and give out Bacon to the first 5 evictees and recap their games (or in some cases lack there of).

Joey – 5 strips of BACON – wait, what? Joey was the first person voted out and I am giving her the most bacon possible?? Yes – she was right from the start. She knew that the boys were all starting to get together early on and wanted to do something about it. Sadly in the Big Brother house – what you say does not always matter, how you say it does. She was a free spirit and let her mouth get her in trouble – but that does not change the fact that she was right and every girl on the way out the door must have thought to themselves – why didn’t we listen to Joey?

She will be remembered as the first person in Team America – but never had a chance to do anything to win the $. I feel like the producers should have had Team America in place right from the get go – instead of waiting a couple of weeks to add people to it. This could have given her a chance to stay the first week – and who knows how many other characters she would have come up with. OK, maybe 5 strips of Bacon is too much for her – but she was a player I would have loved to see more of.

Paola – 1 strip of Bacon – Paola was one of my preseason picks – because she is a NYC girl – but the the twist this season made her the easy nominee the 2 weeks she was in the house. As someone who did not know much about the show before getting casted – she will be remembered not so much for her gameplay as she will for epic speeches & fashion poses. Watching her friendship with Donny blossom was sweet – but she should have spent some more time trying to get to know the others as well.

If not for wishy washy Devin – chances are she could have been the Victoria of the season… instead she got to go home early and continue her DJ career. Since she is also a HUGE fan of bacon, giving her only 1 strip of “virtual bacon” is ok – cause I am sure we will dine on swine all over NYC in real life!

Big Brother 16: Derrick Plans His Own ‘Funeral’ Moment

| September 9, 2014 at 9:15 AM EST

We’re getting down to the wire on Big Brother 16 and with the HG numbers dwindling and his game pieces on the block Derrick is preparing to cut one of them loose, but not without capitalizing on the loss.

Last night Derrick did a little camera talking at 10:23PM BBT after discussing the Victoria situation with Frankie. Alone in the Fire room Derrick told the camera that he was about to pull off his own version of Dan’s Funeral. Okay, that right there is an immensely lofty goal, but let’s see where he goes with it.
