Celebrity Big Brother Popularity Poll: Results And New Poll

Memory Wall in Round 4 of Celebrity Big Brother 2018

The results are in for our first round of the Celebrity Big Brother popularity poll. You, the Big Brother Network readers have spoken, and Ross Mathews was overwhelmingly our readers’ favorite Houseguest during Rounds 1-3.

Ross earned 41.8 percent of the vote and no one came close to touching him the whole time the poll was open. Now-evicted Shannon Elizabeth came in a distant second with 21.51 percent of the vote. Marissa Jaret Winokur and James Maslow came in third and fourth respectively with a little more than 8 percent of the vote each.

Metta World Peace rounded out the top 5 with 5.6 percent of the vote. Omarosa and Ariadna Guiterrez followed Metta with a very close margin of 3.67 percent and 3.62 percent. Brandi Glanville, Mark McGrath, Chuck Liddell and Keshia Knight Pulliam held up the bottom of the poll, in that order. Keshia failed to even get 1 percent of the vote, which isn’t surprising since she was the second person evicted, and Big Brother fans are often harsh on players who don’t want to be in the game. And let’s not forget she hasn’t really been on TV in over 20 years.

Check out the full percentages and rankings in our chart below plus the original poll results here.

I’ll be curious to see if Ross can hold on to the top spot since he has seemingly lost some support on social media and on other blogs. Big Brother fans can be a fickle bunch, and if they see someone playing a game different than they would, they can flip on a dime. It’ll also be interesting to see where Shannon falls on the next poll since she’s been recently evicted.

At this point in the game, I expect to see some changes in our next poll. This, as you know, is a short season and people are playing hard and fast so it can be hard to pick a favorite based solely on gameplay. A lot of people have based their votes on who they already knew and liked even before they knew they were going to be on the show.

Be sure to vote in our next popularity poll posted to below. Also, how do you base your votes? Are you voting based on who is playing the best game or who is annoying you the least? Or who you were already a fan of before the show? Let us know in the comments below.

  1. Funny because people are still favoring Ross so far on this thread. On twitter all the polls there have Ross and Marissa in the bottom. With Marissa in last place. And all the comments about Ross and Marissa are negative. Very rarely do I see a positive comment about them.

  2. I might have favored Ross early on because he seemed to be a fun guy, but not any more. He and Marissa always have a lot to say, but most of it is as shallow as a saucer. Strange as it may seem (very strange for me), I’m starting to have more respect for Big O. She’s quite possibly the most mature and intelligent player in the house, although she may be naïve when it comes to trusting others. Either way, I can see her sitting in F2 with the only player I feel worthy of the other seat at this point – Metta.

    • I agree! I was not ever a fan of Omarosa…but she is actually quite nice !
I really hope she goes right to the end!

    • Metta hasn’t done anything that warrants F2 at all. If Metta makes it to F2 it’ll probably be as a floater, but even that’s unrealistic since Mark is still in the house.

      • If he makes it to F2, I doubt he will win. They aren’t going to reward him for escaping the house, 3 times now and constantly stating he wants to go home. That’s 2 now who didn’t want to be there. BB needs to do better vetting.

      • But that’s the point. He’s a nice guy who hasn’t done anything mean to anybody, which gives them no reason to not vote for him.

  3. I think you’ll find Shannon will rise because she was a crier and played the victim card and people unfortunately respond to that. As far as votes go here, I’m not sure sure this system is accurate because you can vote a bunch of times.

  4. I can’t believe the mouth is so popular. I also don’t believe she can beat anyone in F2. She’s absolutely insufferable. Wish they’d call her into the DR more often, for days at a time.

  5. At the start I was rooting for Shannon and Ross. Boy how my opinion changed after a week. I wouldnt mind seeing either James or Ari win it all. I have no favorite which is a first this season and I honestly won’t be surprised if O or Metta won the darn game. Ross and M are just starting to get on my nerves at this point.

    • I agree about James and Ari (take that, Steve Harvey! LOL!), but the element of surprise is there – hovering just beneath the surface. Omarosa is the brains of the house, and Metta is … well … just a nice guy who loves and misses his family. More than that, he’s not conniving, and the evicted celebrities are seeing he was never coming after any of them.

      • But do you think AG would allow that to happen? (A Metta win?) It feels like it would cheapen BB as a whole. A guy who thinks voting to evict someone is voting for them to stay wins? I’m not sure that would play well with fans of the show. But maybe I’m wrong. (It won’t be the first or the last time!)

  6. I would definitely get rid of Omarosa she is playing only for herself and she is playing dirty.
