Big Brother 19 Spoilers: Week 2 ‘Den Of Temptation’

Houseguests were gathered for the reveal of this week’s “Den of Temptation” and we’ve got the latest spoilers on which of them landed the power thanks to your votes.

Our own poll showed Christmas at the top of the list to win this one with Alex not far behind her. So how did those results compare to the real spoilers today? Read on to find out who now has the chance to swap themselves out for a chance to play in an upcoming Veto comp.

Spoilers: Den of Temptation – Week 2

Christmas won the Ring of Replacement Temptation!

Flashback to 5:37 PM BBT Cams 3/4 to watch as she makes the secret reveal to Paul in the HoH bathroom. Christmas reveals that not only did she get the reward, Ring of Replacement, but she also got to pick the 3 HGs who would be cursed, though she does not yet know what the curse will be.

Cursed HGs: Cody, Jessica, & Ramses Jason (Seems Ramses couldn’t be cursed 2x in a row.)

Update: The curse is for those 3 to be dressed in frog/toad costumes all week as V-Toads.

Christmas says she has only told Paul. No kidding. It took us forever to find out who got it, though based on our poll this is what I expected. Paul advises her not to tell anyone else. She hopes they don’t have to use it this week.

As a reminder, here’s how the official description of this week’s power will work for its holder.

The winning Houseguest will be tempted with the Ring of Replacement, which will give them the power to play in any Veto Competition they want this summer! If they’re not one of the six houseguests playing, they can swap places with one of the three players chosen by random draw. The Ring of Replacement can only be used once, but remember, every temptation comes with a consequence.

So Cody is dunzo. If his name is drawn for the Veto comp then Christmas could use her Temptation power and knock him out of the comp. That’s probably it for Cody unless there really is a Battle Back in two weeks!

Next week’s power is the “Halting Hex” which will cancel an eviction. Now that’s powerful stuff!

With Paul’s big plan to Backdoor Cody ready to be set in to action this twist had a fun potential to throw a wrench in the works, but do you think that will actually happen now?

  • Poor Ramses! I don't like the idea of the same hgs getting curse after curse. I'm not even really a Ramses fan but I feel bad for him. I'm all for an all stars season but I don't like vets and newbies mix. He already had an advantage without production giving friendship bracelets, 3 weeks safety, etc. When they done the care packages they were less powerful in the beginning. How is 3 weeks safety for the first one justified. They knew Paul was getting it.

  • What a waste to give this Temptation to Christmas! 10 to 1 she will not be able to finish the game after her surgery on Monday! I hope her doctor(s) explain to her how having pins inserted into the broken bones in your foot is a serious. Its not only painful but your bone(s) in her foot need to heal properly, her body needs to be given time to "accept" (not reject) the pins (foreign matter), and to set correctly in order to prevent any orthopedic maladies. Also, even if she can participate she will never be able to give 100 percent especially in a physical challenge. Unless, of course, she gets the Frankie "Nancy" Grande treatment, where all the challenges are biased towards her strengths/abilities! I give her props for wanting to continue, but in essence, she's playing BB with "one hand/foot tied behind her back!

    Come back next year Christmas!

  • Christmas got it. Like we all predicted. But Paul, what are you thinking by not nominating Jessica? You nominated Alex & Josh? You nominate Jessica and a pawn. That way, only Cody's name can be pulled for veto. And if that happens, Chrismas could replace him. And if Jessica wins, she uses it on herself, and Cody get backdoored. But since you didn't do that, now we stand the chance of both Cody and Jessica staying and creating horrible damage to the game. Paul you IDIOT! If both Cody & Jessica's names get pulled for veto, Christmas can only take away 1 nomination. So assuming she takes down Cody, and Jessica wins veto, she won't use it, and you just wasted your HOH, and your girl, Christmas, goes home next week. Paul, you better hope this works, because your plans has flaws all over the place. Putting up Jessica & a pawn was a flawless plan. America handed this one to you, Paul, and you do this?

  • okay so.... I love Christmas to death. But we do know she's basically unable to compete? Why did we give this one to her lol?

  • Dominique the dominator show is dumb. It will be boring once Cody and Alex leave. Aside from Paul, they are really the only competitors.

    • You don't win BB by being a competitor. BB is 90% social game, 7% physical, & 3% other. You need social game. And Cody has the worst social game in BB history. He has 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of winning. Best get him out now, bc he is toxic to that house.

  • Looks like only way cody is surviving this week is if he and jess both get picked to play the veto, and one of them wins it. Playing it this week if cody gets drawn s probably the best move for xmas, since she probably will never win a veto given how the comps are usually physical, so there's no point using it to try and play and save her allies down the road. If xmas actually had a chance of winning the veto this temptation would be more useful for her, but at least week 2 is turning out better for her so far.

  • RANT.....BS boo 😒 BB (for the record I am NOT a fan of Cody! However……)
This is NOT "organic" at all! I know to expect the unexpected.....
When you go into a game, you should be able to at least fight for it. This just makes it completely impossible for a player (Cody) to play the game.
It's like shooting fish in a barrel & I feel like I'm watching people shoot fish in a barrel! This is way too easy!!
As a huge BB fan since day one, I'm not liking some of these temptations! Cody might as well walk out the door right now. (Sure, stay, fight for your game & try to get votes!) Yes Cody made a HUGE/STUPID mistake putting up Christmas but, I strongly believe his HOH had some "unfair" disadvantages! & if this was an HG we all 'liked,' we would be pissed off! Clearly, I'm a little upset. I miss the BB that was more "organic" (less manipulated by production etc.)
    - Megan walks out so he's 'forced' to renom (Alex) Blood x 3
-His Veto Renom is destroyed b/c of Paul's safety. Blood x 5 (Cody was the one who received the worst punishment for Paul taking the temptation!)
-Paul technically gets 2 rewards. Safety & also gets a free pass to find out who he can trust & not!!
-Technically 2 people receive punishments for Paul's temptation. Ramses & Cody!
I would love to watch a season of BB where it was more like the earlier seasons. No twists, Temptations .... just straight up head-to-head battle of the house!

      • Right but if it was one of the fan favourites so to speak, people would be furious at how unfair their HOH was. You know what I mean?
It's only because Cody is so disliked by most of us, so people don't really care and are happy it happened to him.
But I still want a more organic game. Regardless of my feelings towards him

        • I TOTALLY get it. I admitted production interference was obvious here. Normally I hate it but this time I was selfish and for my own satisfaction I enjoyed it. I hate Cody in this game; more than Aaryn, Evil Dick, Amanda and Jeremy put together. Lol those were the ones I could hardly stomach. He exceeded them! Not saying he deserved it but I loved it.

    • Tina, I understand your frustration with the twists and their impact on Cody but you can't overlook how Cody's personality has impacted his game more than the twists. Cody could be a very strong player, he certainly has that potential. Unfortunately his ego gets in the way. Paul coming back into the game should not derail Cody's game - in fact Paul was willing to work with him. Cody had built a strong alliance but he treated them as if they were simply his minions and never consulted them on going after Paul or Xmas because he knew better. He played too hard, too soon thinking he had the season planned out as to who would be in Jury and who would win (him). He has insulted people, stonewalled them and simply been a miserable, glowering a** For me, the saddest thing is not that Cody has been screwed by the twists but that Cody's behaviour and attitude has led to the position he is now in. My rant now over, lol

      • Very fair Rant :-) and very true! And I totally agree with you regarding Cody's behaviour and what not. Very very true!
But these twist and Temptations still drive me crazy. LOL
PS. Thank you for taking the time to read my crazy long rant 😜

  • So Ramses couldn't be cursed twice? What if nobody in the house knew about the curse and Xmas tried to curse him?

  • Stop already I hope their plan doesn't work,I am sick n tired of watching these people kissing Paul's ass
