‘Big Brother 18’: Counting Votes In Week 12 [POLL]

Houseguests are about to get an eviction surprise today in the Big Brother 18 house but as for the votes themselves no one should be shocked with how this one goes.

Corey can count to this many on BB18

There are only two votes this week which leaves things open to a possible tiebreaker but I see no chance of that happening later today when the Feeds go down and the vote is revealed.

Paul and Victor remain on the Block after Sunday’s Veto Ceremony where Nicole declined to use the PoV and set up the Sitting Ducks for a split. After days of talks between Nicole, Corey, and James there should be no doubt over who will be voted out between Victor and Paul.

The new F3 group agreed that Victor needed to go but even if James wasn’t on board it wouldn’t really matter. Nicole and Corey control this eviction just as they controlled the last one so it’s just as well that James go along with the flow here.

Feeds should go down later today and while we’re in a Feeds blackout I expect Victor to be voted out 2-0. Once he heads out the front door to talk with Julie, for a third time, it’ll be time for a new HoH comp between Nicole, James, and Paul. I don’t expect Feeds to be back until after Tuesday night’s show but we’re waiting on confirmation for that and will let you know.

Last year during this round we had the fantastically entertaining blindside against Austin when Liz and John split their votes and Vanessa was forced in to a tiebreaker situation before Austin left barefoot over Steve who ended up winning the season. I don’t expect anything quite so dramatic, but maybe the next round will give us some surprises.

Victor had a good run for sure with his three chances at winning Big Brother 18 and he’s certainly made good use of the opportunities. Now he’ll head off to Jury and prepare to return next Wednesday for the big finale where he’ll help vote to crown the next Big Brother winner.

  1. This is really disappointing. Hope Vic atleast wins AFP and Paul manages to convince James to turn on Corey and Nicole.

  2. Found this interesting article and thought it may apply even to this day with all of productions favoring and rigging.

We congratulate Big Brother 4 executive producer Arnie Shapiro, host Julie Chen, and her boyfriend, CBS head honcho Les Moonves, on their success in dragging Big Brother into the gutter to achieve higher ratings. From kicking off an originally-announced houseguest because he was in a committed relationship, to pairing ex-couples, the show was designed to accent sex and sleaze, so it comes as no surprise that the finalists described themselves so derogatorily — and were described by the others, who seemed eager to get away from them, as bed-hopping liars. At a time when other versions of Big Brother are uniting continents, promoting cultural tolerance and creating national heroes, we’re proud that the U.S. version isn’t afraid to pander to the lowest common denominator.

    • I do remember in the very early days they used to actually show people hooking up in the HOH on TV. Just the start of the act not everything. No one hid under blankets back then. Then BB figured out they could get more viewers if they cut that out. I do think BB should be more honest in the edits, for the casual viewer they’re getting a bunch of lies.

      • You are very right. The casual viewer is being lied to through the edits. They do not represent what truly goes on in the house as Nicole/Corey and James are getting the “good guy” edits when in fact, their actions have been completely to the contrary.

      • Hi Dreamer. This was from season 4 but it only reinforces the simple fact how production is more concerned about ratings than ethics.

  3. Don’t have to be a fortune teller to know James and Nicole will be the final 2. Use to be a fan of both but after the way they played and acted this season not any more.

    • Harvey you are not the only one who feels this way. Would even venture as far as saying how betrayed some viewers feel. ?

  4. Not trolling/baiting…honest question: What’s the endgame Nicorey haters think they should’ve had here? Either together or individually.

Seems like folks think they should evict James now, then go into F4 and let their whole season ride on beating Paul and Vic in the veto comp. I dunno, if I were in either of their shoes and lost half a million dollars because I decided to let Comp-Beast-Victor play in and win the next POV and the final HOH to get in front of the jury, I’d have nightmares forever.

    • I totally agree. Although I wanted Victor to win, he must go now if anyone else wants a chance to win
