Big Brother 17 Live Feeds Week 3: Monday Daytime Highlights

Veto Day had arrived in the Big Brother house and everyone was ready for Vanessa to stop talking about it and just get this over with so they could move on to the campaigning phase.

With the final noms of the week settled today things look fixed for the next eviction, but that doesn’t mean either nom would go down without a fight. Oh, and there was a luxury comp that would send one Houseguest on a cruise vacation. Nice!

Big Brother 17 Live Feed Highlights – Monday, July 13, 2015:

8:50 AM BBT – Feeds are down for an early wake-up call.

8:55 AM BBT – Feeds are back. HGs are up moving about.

8:58 AM BBT – Meg thinks they must have waken them early because they’re going to have to do something today. Indoor lockdown in effect, too, so they wonder if there will be a Gronk party.

9:05 AM BBT – Audrey, Liz and Meg are getting ready but most HGs have gone back to bed.

10:13 AM BBT – Feeds go to highlights.

10:31 AM BBT – Feeds return. They had a competition/Gronk party in the back yard and Meg won a cruise.

10:53 AM BBT – Vanessa and Liz in the HOH room talking about the veto ceremony. Vanessa is nervous about her speech and they’re talking about how to confront Jeff.

11:20 AM BBT – Clay and John talk about how trustworthy Becky is.

11:35 AM BBT – Vanessa is once again talking about how to explain why she’s going to nominate Jeff. Shelli is telling her to just tell people that her target change. It’s that simple.

12:00 PM – Shelli tells Vanessa that she’s going to be taking all the blame for this decision because Austin has set himself up nicely for it to look like this was all on Vanessa even though they came up with this idea together. Austin and Clay come into the HOH room and just as Vanessa and Austin start talking about her taking all the heat, the feeds cut for the nomination ceremony.

1:09 PM BBT – Feeds are back. John used the Power of Veto on himself and Vanessa named Jeff as the replacement nominee.

1:18 PM BBT – John tells Vanessa that he will vote to keep Jeff because he hasn’t given him a reason not to. Vanessa tells her to be careful with Jeff. She also says that Audrey needs to go next week or soon after.

1:21 PM BBT – Jeff, Jason, Jackie and Meg are talking about why Vanessa nominated him. They can’t think of a good reason and say this HOH has ruined her game. Jackie talks about how Vanessa’s speech didn’t make sense.

1:24 PM BBT – Jeff campaigning to Austin. Jeff thinks it’s not just Audrey who has gotten in Vanessa’s ear. He thinks it’s Steve and Austin continues to play along and act like he’s on Jeff’s side.

1:25 PM BBT – Meg, Clay and Jason talk about who will vote to save Jeff. They know Jackie and John will. Meg says she’s not sure what the best move would be this week. Jason wonders if they should choose to evict Jeff just to not cut all their ties with Vanessa.

1:41 PM BBT – Shelli and Clay tell Becky that Jeff is going to try to blow up people’s games this week and compare him to Audrey.

1:48 PM BBT – Jackie confirms to Shelli and Clay that she will vote to keep Jeff.

2:43 PM BBT – Jason and Austin talking about Jeff being the renom. They think that Jackie and Jeff are closer than they’re acting.

2:50 PM BBT – Audrey is asking Shelli to start subtly planting seeds with people that Jeff has been responsible for everything Audrey was blamed for. Audrey also asks her to not use the word “male Audrey” for Jeff because it implies she did all the things she’s been accused of.

2:55 PM BBT – Shelli tells Audrey that she feels she’s redeemed herself with her and that she trusts her again, but hints that she’s keeping herself guarded with Audrey.

3:05 PM BBT – Jason talking to himself going over days and things that have happened in the game.

3:30 PM BBT – Austin and Vanessa talking to Steve about the things Jeff has said about Jackie. Vanessa and Austin think they should tell Jackie what Jeff has said. Austin says he might wait until Wednesday night to tell her.

So the target is now on Jeff, so expect a lot of hard campaigning the next couple days from Jeff. And you can also expect some crazy Audrey antics, because it’s just not in her to let the week play out as everyone intends.

    • She’s just weird. I do not understand her game play at all. After that big blow up you would think she would lay low and keep her mouth shut. But no she still stirs up trouble every chance she gets. I think Shelli was just trying to pacify her by telling her she trusts her.

      • Here’s something I always say: spite is a powerful thing.
She’s practically being shunned at this point. She may think/know she can only make so much of a comeback. So why not have some fun and screw with people? She didn’t care about the mess she made in just the first week, so why would she change now?

    • Jeff told Austin he had sex with Jackie during or right after TAR (maybe more than once). Jeff also said “it’s not like it’s hard”, pretty much saying that Jackie’s easy.

      • “It’s not like it’s hard.” … That’s what she said. He is despicable; cannot wait until he’s evicted Thursday!

  1. Vanessa acting like a master-mind HOH, wait till she is put on the block, a big cry baby will come back

  2. Shelli, is now wearing Clay’s college shirt, so are they going steady now, what’s next the college ring?

The hand that rocks the cradle is the one that falls the hardest. Clay is using her big time and getting a cougar squeeze to boot.

    • Wow you act like she’s 70 with one foot in the grave. She’s only 33….

      • It doesn’t matter what I think; I just can’t see a stud like Clay marrying a 30 something divorcee, when he can get younger, prettier, smarter and one with a personality. Shelli is as dry as a roasted fig leaf.

      • Clay stated in one of his first DRs that he prefers older women. It was before he and Shelli were a thing.

      • I don’t care that Clay likes chasing older women to play with, I was just saying that if Shelli is expecting more afterward she may find herself in hurt.

Clay may go NFL, does Shelli really believe she can complete with those younger sophisticated women that hang around the locker-rooms

I know this is just a game but one that has real emotions involved. Liz/Julia even said she thought it was absurd that Shelli was going after a much younger guy

      • Clay can probably get pretty much any girl he wants, but he isn’t going to the NFL. He didn’t even play much in college, hardly NFL material.

      • OK, I misunderstood the conversation in the kitchen. Clay has all the equipment needed to go NFL, could be that he lacks speed which is vital

      • It’s possible he told someone in the house that he was trying to make it to the NFL, but he isn’t NFL material at all. I looked up his college football bio and he wasn’t very impressive– mostly a back-up.

    • I don’t think her age is even relevant, she’s letting her crush/showmance completely control her game. It’s going to bite her in the ass sooner than later!

  3. Vanessa won a HOH that was based 90% on luck and now she thinks she is the queen of the house and everyone must bow down to her and apologize for every single lie or perceived slight. She must not realize that there is a new HOH every week.

    • While I agree that she should probably tone it down, you can’t really blame her. I can imagine that when you’re shut off from the world in that house it becomes your only reality quickly. She kind of IS queen of the house because in their little world she’s won the highest currently available title.

      • Sure, but when your reign is only a week, maybe you should consider the fact that you will be back downstairs in a few days and you could end up on the hot seat.

      • I agree! IMO, she surpassed Audrey on the cray-cray scale this week. She’s on par with Devin in paranoia.

  4. A luxury comp that sent one of the houseguests to a cruise vacation? That must have been where Becky was during last night’s episode? Remember inyour eepisode recap you asked where Becky was?

  5. Is anyone else having feed problems? It is showing the same room on all four cameras..and not switching around.

  6. Why does Vanessa have to get everyone’s approval before she does anything? How should I explain to Jeff, how should I do this, is this OK? Doesn’t she realize this isn’t a team game? I’ll be glad when she’s gone – those big fake eyes all the time are getting old. Either she’s playing a really good game by pretending to involve everyone, or she’s forgotten she’s playing for herself. Plus, the HG’s this season just can’t keep their mouths shut – every time something comes up that could be used strategically, they run around the house telling everyone. Where’s the game play in that? These players are just all too similar in age and have the frat house mentality that some of them had last year – they’re not fraternity brothers and sisters – they owe allegiance to no one – and they’re getting boring. Give us a little more diversity next year, please!!

    • frat house, I was thinking the same thing. They pick people like that every year and it bugs me. Pick some older people too. As far as Vanessa some people are just like that but at times I think she is also protecting her outside image. I really liked her before this week and now, not so much. Maybe it is her strategy and she will change my mind again. Great points, all of them.

    • They didn’t do their token “older” person this year. I’d love to see at least 3-7 HGs in their 40s, 50s or 60s. There are lots of people even older than that, that are in great physical/mental shape for the comps.

      • Wouldn’t it be fun, just for once, to see the older HG’s block out the young ones for a change? I’d love to see that.

      • I don’t know about 3-7, but a few would be nice. Again, BB/CBS has sold out on the LGBT agenda to the detriment of blacks, other minorities, older people, etc.

  7. Vanessa loves to talk ~ and repeat, repeat, repeat. I think she has short-term memory loss.

  8. Vanessa is REALLY annoying. The constant barrage against Jeff — who isn’t wonderful, but certainly no big jerk — is too much. Just ball-up and say you want him out because he’s a threat instead of this master plan to vilify him. Have a teeny bit of integrity. She’s no Derrick (from last season). And Vanessa said she wont target Audrey because Vanessa is a lesbian?! BB with the over-board LGBT agenda is getting annoying, too. THAT is their “new minority” that they push and put in the house over blacks, etc. 3 in one season? That isn’t even anywhere near statistically proportionate to the real world.

    • I don’t like it when they make it personal for no reason. Vanessa is not right in the head. Jeff is no prize but evicting him for the silly reasons she is giving makes no sense, especially when you have a twin twist, a loose cannon who is also a little nuts in Audrey and a showmance. BB needs to to a better job of selecting house guests.

  9. How many weeks to jury? I have a gut feeling we are going to be stuck watching Audrey one way or another. Kinda like Frankie last year. Speaking of Frankie, who else saw him acting like a fool in front row on first eviction. He is everywhere since BB16

    • I closed my eyes when I saw him on the front row. I was too scared that his junk might be showing out of his short, shorts.

      • Oh, God, you’re bringing back horrible memories, redroses! I’d almost managed to forget about the nightmare that was Frankie. LOL
