So once again, John is being used as a pawn and has been asked to throw the competition. The plan this week is either Jeff or James, but Vanessa and Austin are telling everyone the plan is to backdoor Audrey.

Big Brother 17 Live Feed Highlights – Friday, July 10, 2015:

8:32 AM BBT – Feeds cut. Wake-up time.

8:45 AM BBT – Feeds return. Some HGs start getting ready and moving about.

9:11 AM BBT – Vanessa talking to John in the HOH room about going up and throwing Battle of the Block (again). She tells him that she and Austin will promise to not put him up again and she will keep him informed with any important game  matters.

9:15 AM BBT – Jeff goes to the HOH room to talk about the backdoor Audrey plan (that isn’ true). Vanessa says that’s the plan. Jeff said that Steve needs to be the backup plan since he’s being really sketchy. They all pretend to agree.

9:22 AM BBT – Jeff throws Clay and Shelli under the bus to Austin and Vanessa. He says he’s worried about them and implies they should be split up. Jeff, of course, doesn’t know that Shelli and Clay are aligned with Austin and Vanessa. Oops.

9:31 AM BBT – Steve goes to the HOH room to check on noms. Austin and Vanessa tell him people are trying to get him up but he is not their target.

9:41 AM BBT – Vanessa tells James she’s not putting him up but can’t speak for Austin. She tells him that if he does go up, she really wants him to win BOTB so she can work on backdooring Audrey.

9:44 AM BBT – It’s Audrey’s turn to check into the HOH room. Vanessa tells her that everyone thinks the plan is to backdoor her, but that’s not the case and that she has absolutely nothing to worry about and to just relax.

10:10 AM BBT – Feeds cut. Nomination ceremony time.

11:50 AM BBT – Feeds return. Meg/Jason and James/John have been nominated.

11:56 AM BBT – Audrey is freaking out over the nominations because she thinks she’s going to be backdoored. Vanessa is assuring her that is not the plan and that she can calm down.

12:00 PM BBT – Meanwhile, Meg and Jason are talking to Austin about nominating them. They clearly aren’t happy. Jason is annoyed the same people have to go up while other people are napping their way to jury. Meg and Jason feel like they’re up against two strong players and that they will lose Battle of the Block and then will have to depend on one of them winning Veto. He tells them that he wants them to win and that the plan is still to backdoor Audrey.

12:13 PM BBT – Vanessa follows up with John. He says he will try to throw the BOTB competition but it might be hard to do so working with James and that Jason and Meg probably won’t be very good at the competition.

12:22 PM BBT – James talking to Meg and Jason. He says he doesn’t believe they’re going after Audrey because they want her in the game to be the target over themselves. James wonders if John will try to throw the comp like he did with Da’Vonne last week.

12:50 PM BBT – Liz is complaining about being interrogated by Jeff. Vanessa tells her his days are numbered.

1:27 PM BBT – Clay tells Meg that the worst case scenario this week is that Jason goes home and that she won’t.

2:10 PM BBT – Vanessa and Austin discussing how to approach it if they get to backdoor Jeff this week.

2:50 PM BBT – Feeds cut. Time for Battle of the Block.

So depending on how the Battle of the Block goes, Jeff or Jason could be heading home this week. But if Vanessa and Austin’s plan fails and Jeff and James are both safe, Jason could find himself in danger. But it seems once again, Audrey will find herself unscathed.

  1. But isn’t John throwing the BOB, if Jeff wins veto and save James (which I hope happens) than Jeff, James, Meg, and Jason are all safe. I like their group better than Austin’s group. Vanessa will than have to come up with a Plan C. I want Jeff to win veto only because if he finds out that he was the backdoor plan than things will get interesting. I don’t want a predictable, boring week. Sometimes I don’t like it when things goes the HOH’s way.

    • Right I love a bit of drama in the mix before eviction… Keeps me on my toes! ^_^

    • I agree two distinct groups is what will cause the most interesting season like season 6. If all four are safe then this can happen with only 3 it is more difficult

      • Exactly! That’s why BB6 will forever be my favorite season. We haven’t had that type of house divide since Season 6. The closest thing we had was Seasons 13 but it wasn’t as epic as BB6. That’s why I want Jeff to win the POV. If he wins I feel like we can have a house split and if we do it would make BOB a little bit more interesting. Especially if the 2 HOHs are from different sides.

    • I mean that would be fun, but with Jeff not being nominated he does still have to be selected by random draw to play and win veto, so I’m not sure that’s totally realistic… however, it would make for more interesting TV, so I’ll keep my fingers crossed!

    • I don’t like Jeff, but love the idea of throwing a huge monkey wrench into Van’s plan!

      • Agree, sometimes I don’t like watching HOH’s get their way. Even though I like Vanessa and I’m not the biggest Jeff fan.

  2. This is the reason I didn’t like BotB last year. Every single week people would throw the competition just to make the HOHs’ happy. Remember in the earlier seasons when pawns went home?

    • i wish they would just have a normal season no battle of the block no twists that give anyone an advantage just straight gameplay

      • I suspect that would result in a lot of floaters, no one wanting to make waves, since it’s all strategy/mental. At least with BotB, it forces more HGs to actually participate and scramble.

      • Last year the ultimate floater/pawn made it to the final 3. I think BotB could work if people didn’t go and tell everyone in the house the plan. It would also be more dramatic if the two HOH’s couldn’t tell each other their nominees beforehand.

      • Awesome idea! Except BB would need to ensure the same person wasn’t nominated by both HOHs.

      • They already do that. The 2 HoHs pick a number out of the bag to determine who selects first and who selects second. They then separate. The first HoH selects 2 keys. The remaining keys are passed to the second HoH for selection. So, if they were banned from communicating their picks, the 2nd HoH would still know who the 1st one selected.

      • It seems like hubris of the producers, thinking that they can do no wrong, that they know better than the fans. Sometimes that may be the case, but BOB is a flop and they need to accept that.

    • I’d like to see two HOH’s, but each of them nominating only 1 person. If their Nom wins Veto, then they get bounced off as HOH.

  3. I heard Jeff is in danger of expulsion b/c of the whole Liz fluid incident. Can anyone confirm?

    • BB fans again overreacting just because they don’t like him. I didn’t see anything and people are blowing it out of proportion.

  4. Meg for the win! I don’t like that she’s up again, but with the plan to get Jeff, Jason, or Audrey out, she’ll be safe another week. Meg is going to win this season.

    • I would think so..probably put them up in a hotel somewhere very close to the BB house.

      • or she could be living in an isolated room just like the three potential houseguests in bbcan2 were, allison and the other 2 males

    • Yes. That’s exactly what Julie said when she explain the twist. That’s why they need that 10 minutes sessions to pass each other info.

  5. Liz complains about being interrogated by Jeff about being a twin — as Liz is trying to fool people that she is not a twin! How dare, Jeff! How dare Jeff actually question me about what I’m LYING about! How stupid that sounds, Liz.
