Big Brother 16: Final Four Spoilers Revealed Overnight

Last night after the F5 elimination on Big Brother 16 we were glued to the Live Feed waiting for some very important spoilers. Even though the show only took us up through the Head of Household competition things had moved well past that in the house and we were ready to find out the rest.

Caleb Reynolds starting to crack

The HoH comp we saw was actually held on Monday so to be ready for tonight’s live show the remaining Houseguests had to go through a Nominations Ceremony along with a Power of Veto competition. Once Feeds returned we were able to confirm the results and get an idea of what’s going to happen next.

The nominations were inconsequential outside of who made them given that person would be HoH and secure a spot in the F3. Once you get down to the F4 you can get nom’d or dodge the block but it doesn’t matter until the Veto is decided with just one player avoiding those orange chairs come eviction.

All the same, Derrick, this round’s HoH, nominated Caleb and Victoria. Derrick had worried they’d tip off Caleb by putting him up, but also suggested he had ideas on how to handle that situation. It appears to have not been a concern because here he is on the block.

Now for the Power of Veto results. I said it several times: if Caleb does not win this Veto his game is done. Well, Caleb didn’t win the Veto.

When Feeds returned we waited for some sort of hint and soon Caleb was asking Cody why Victoria seemed so happy and if she had talked to him about what was coming up. Yep, Cody won the PoV for this round. Solid win record for Cody going in to the end of the season here. Almost makes me wonder if that’s got Derrick jittery.

Summary: Overnight we learned Caleb & Victoria were nominated and Cody won the Power of Veto.

Tonight we’ll see the Veto Ceremony play out live, but Cody will not use it, obviously, and he will then have to cast the sole eviction vote. Things could possibly shift as we’ve seen Cody frequently back down this season, but with no time left I don’t think he has much of a choice this time. Our F3 will likely be Cody, Derrick, and Victoria.

What do you think of the results? Were you hoping for Caleb to win the Veto and force a Victoria eviction? It would have been a heck of a F3 round of HoH competitions for sure. Maybe next year.

  1. This way, Derrick, to the $500,000! (Make that $550,000.) I think it would be nice if Derrick split that extra $50K with the other TA members…

    • I missed that whole 50K thing on last night’s episode. Was there a TA challenge for that? Was he just given that?

      • If he or Frankie ended up winning the 500k one of them would receive 50k as a bonus for being TA.

    • You are assuming that Derrick is a nice guy with a conscious and cares about any of his fellow HGs, let alone his TA members .. Ha !!!
Remember, his only goal/focus this season was to win $$$ for his family .. Nothing else to him appears to matter to him, based on his storyline that he has told ….

      • Are you saying he’s a bad guy if he doesn’t split the money?
That’s the 2nd most ridiculous thing I’ve heard today. (The first was that Frankie was a good guy. HA)
Why not just divide it between all the HG then?

      • Why would any of them want to split their money with anyone in the House ..
And, besides, I thought it was not allowed to split $$ amongst the HG’s ??

      • That’s my point exactly. It seemed like you were saying that Derrick was not a nice guy & that he didn’t have a conscious if he didn’t split the extra $50k with TA. I’m still lost as to how you feel.

      • I was saying the same thing to the OP that you were saying … re: ” I think it would be nice if Derrick split that extra $50K with the other TA members…”

Derrick’s only goal was to win $$$ for his family .. what he did and said in the game to the HG’s, was just game in his efforts to win as much $$$ as possible … and, not necessarily to “be nice”, in particular to his TA members .. they all made $$ from this twist this season, just some, may be more … if anything, they all should be giving money to their punching bag, Zach, who was the butt of their target for most of these missions .. Ha !!!

He did not go in there to make friends and feel guilty if he had to lie or backstab, if it got him further in the game …. Unless, some other players, he was able to separate his personal emotions/feelings from the game …

      • I say he earned it. Take the cast out for drinks and dinner. He doesn’t owe them anything else nor should anyone expect him to. I know if I was away from my family for 3 months and had to live with Frankie for that long. NO way would I share it. Sorry.

      • You should be saying this to the OP, LlGrr, as I have been saying the same thing as you … He owes nothing to anybody …
Free drinks to everyone at the post finale party and charge the bill to Production .. Ha !! :)

      • Gotcha. Sorry.

I do feel bad that Zach didn’t get anything for being their punching bag. What’s worse is that they then used it all to evict him.

      • If anything, for his role in the whole Victoria thing, that $50K would be a nice donation to a Women’s Shelter and/or Mission for Abused Women, in his City …

But, after taxes and likely taking a leave of absence from his work, I suspect that the extra $$$ will come in handy, should he win the whole thing …

      • Maybe I misunderstood your comment, too. When you said “You are assuming that Derrick is a nice guy with a conscious and cares about any of his fellow HGs, let alone his TA members,” what did you mean?

      • I was saying the same thing to the OP that you were saying … re: ” I think it would be nice if Derrick split that extra $50K with the other TA members…”

      • They can do whatever they want with the money once the game is over and they’re outside the house. They can’t make deals like that inside the house – that could be interpreted as bribery.

      • They can do whatever they want with the money once the game is over and they’re outside the house. They can’t make deals like that inside the house – that could be interpreted as bribery.

      • I didn’t think winners were allowed to split their winnings either. I had read something a while back that Dick was not allowed to give any BB winnings to Danielle, but he was allowed to pay for her schooling and buy her a car as “gifts”.

      • What exactly is your point? That anyone who won Big Brother should split their prize money with the other house guests or else they are a bad person? That’s ridiculous.

      • Not sharing the money doesn’t make him a bad guy with no conscience (assuming you didn’t really mean he’s unconscious, right?). What the hell should his goal be besides winning the money for his family? Are you nuts?

    • I doubt he will do that. If he does win, he will have earned that money. He’s played a good game. Remember, he sacrificed a crucial point in his daughter’s life. HE didn’t do that to give money to other ppl. Screw the other 2. I’m sure the cast will go out and Derrick (or whoever wins) will buy drinks and dinner or something. Noone should expect more than that.

  2. At this point, I am hoping that Victoria wins the game. If you asked me, and I know that you didn’t, I think the remaining guys are stupid for keeping Victoria. Sure, it is a slim chance that Victoria will win the game. However, allowing Victoria to remain, means that someone else is sure to go. I think Caleb should have nominated Victoria and Derrick, with Victoria or even Derrick being the target. I believe Caleb nominated his strongest ally (Frankie was on to Derrick game). If Cody thinks that Derrick will take him to final two, then he is one crazy fool.

    • Can Victoria win a game she doesn’t even know she is playing? I imagine that she won’t fare well with the jury questions, because she seems to clueless as to what’s going on. Imagine someone on jury asking what she has done to get to the final 2 and her looking over to Derrick and asking him what she should say.

    • It would take the world’s most bitter jury to let Victoria win. But stranger things have happened. Ian beat Dan.

    • I agree. I would never of thought in the beginning that Victoria would be in the F3. If she makes it to the F2 because everyone drug her along thinking they would win I hope she wins. Go Victoria!

  3. Caleb will be out the door later tonight… and he will still be searching for what have happen…
Now, Cody can only get to the final if he wins the triple HOH… in any other situation, Cody will be sent packing and Derrick and Victoria will be on the final.

    • Caleb will blame Cody for voting him out and he isn’t that crazy about Cody anyway. He thought he/Derrick were taking out Cody next. :) So Caleb will vote for Derrick if Derrick avoids Jury.

  4. It really blows my mind that these peeps don’t see Derricks “real” plan on keeping Victoria! He deserves the money hands down. Never been on the block, master manipulator.. He’s going down as one of the greats IMO!

    • Meh, bring him back for another go and see how he does before we start comparing him to Dr. Will and Dan.

      • That’s unfair. Why is someone who played twice (only winning once) automatically better than a newbie? Derrick (if he wins) should be considered a Big Brother legend.

      • Because even in their first seasons the players we tend to think of as the greats faced more adversity (in part because the HGs weren’t so dense and blindly loyal) than Derrick did this season.

Derrick did as good as anyone could have done with what he had, for sure, and he deserves the $500k for that reason. But I don’t think there’s anything special about this year’s cast which proves (to me anyway) he’s a master manipulator the same way some other players have been in the past. Would need to see him play with some stronger players first.

      • He played a great game but I wouldn’t go so far as calling him a legend. Don’t forget he played with a bunch of idiots. A 5 yr old could of won against these people.

      • Playing with the idiots and his back ground training-not surprised he did good- Legend not even close.

      • Legend…….ummm no! Don’t get me wrong, Derrick has played a decent game. But, you have to consider the people involved. I am not a psycho-therapist, but I think it is safe to say that the majority of the hgs this season, has had some type of brain injury. The only sane people were Donny (who is a little nuts, but not crazy), Caleb’s love interest, and Derrick. I am not kidding when I say the rest of the hgs should have signed themselves in a mental institution, instead of signing the paperwork to appear on Big Brother.

    • That’s the thing, Derrick has never really had to show his cards, as he never had to win an HOH nor POV comp where he had to make a decision against his Alliance(s) … and, even in the group discussions, he never really ever gave his answer on “what would Derrick do?” when asked .. he would usually respond with a … “… let me think about it … ” and/or ” .. yeah, yeah, you’re right .. ” etc .. he always made it that the other person was the one who came up with the idea and/or made the final decision … just like he / they did with Caleb last week, when Frankie questioned him, and Caleb ultimately told Frankie that it was his idea/decision in the end .. on why he was nominated .. Ha !!

Master Jedi Derrick with his mind tricks … as someone once said …

“The Jedi mind trick only works on the weak minded.” …. “Mind tricks will not work on me. Only money.”

      • Again, another reason why Victoria has been such a brilliant player, in throwing her comps and acting like a dumb/weak player, to not being seen as a threat to the Guys ..
She has played brilliantly, I tell ya .. Ha !!! :)

      • I Think Victoria Should Win ,She Has Hung In There
Took Everyone’s Dislikes, And She Used That
Made The Best Of All And Made It To The End.
With Derrick In Every Breath Saying That’s How
You Win America As If Has Already Won, I Hope The JURY
Gets The Last Laugh And Votes For Victoria

  5. I feel so bad for Caleb. He’s so nice and honest and trustworthy. I think he picked the wrong game to play. XD

    • So nice and trustworthy that he stalked a woman he liked and then got her voted out thinking he could scare her into begging him for forgiveness?

      • I never said he wasn’t crazy, he clearly is. That doesn’t change the fact that he’s a nice guy (most of the time) and probably one of the most loyal players to ever play this game.

      • I think all the crazy stuff he’s done (particularly the harassment stuff) more or less shows he’s not that nice.

And there’s a difference between loyalty and trustworthiness. He sure wasn’t trustworthy with Amber when he thought he was being sneaky by asking others, behind her back, to put her on the block as a way of putting her in her place.

    • LOL. Caleb is a nice guy, but he is too “full of himself.” Caleb wants to be a star or have a career fall into his lap when he gets evicted. I heard Caleb try to rap and it was horrific. Then, I saw him try to coin a phrase, what’s dat (I think)…….I guess he thought someone was going to give him a t-shirt line. Let me be honest, when I first saw Caleb, hell, I thought he was hot. Then he fell in love with a person that didn’t even like him. This is when I realized that he was nuts.

      • I think it was “hur dat” Like heard that, or something, lol. It was hilarious all the guys were like YOU’VE NEVER SAID THAT BEFORE! hahaha. He’s nuts. Maybe it’s the cameras making him act that way, who knows?! lol

      • I remember Caleb being so surprised that the guys didn’t agree with him on hearing “herd dat” before. Apparently they have been BSing Caleb all summer and he was shocked when they didn’t submit to his will yet again. Another reason why his eviction is going to be fun to watch.

  6. I could just hear Derrick’s HOH nomination speech right now, to Caleb, about Cody having sat on the block during the pre-Rewind week, and like Caleb said to Frankie last week, it wasn’t fair to have Cody be on the block again, so, it is only fair that Caleb be put on the block this week …. Ha !!!

    • How come it’s so unfair to put Cody on the block two weeks in a row, but nobody seems to have a problem nominating Victoria week after week after week? I don’t understand why she hasn’t come up with that question herself.

  7. Derrick has played a phenomenal game, hopefully when (PLEASE) he wins, he will be recognized as one of the great players in the history of this game.

    • This year has been so boring. I usually am so amped to see the show and root for the underdog (Donny), but I haven’t really enjoyed this season. A bunch of loosers with no mind of their own, being led by the alpha dog. Next time pick some real go getters with personality. If I wasn’t so old I would give them a run for their money. A bunch of maybes. Zach started to exhibit some personality at the end.

    • I think they will be surprised and maybe curious as to why he didn’t disclose the fact. I don’t think his being a cop is an issue. Derrick does have some extra skills related to being undercover and an officer that helped him in this game. But, I don’t think it will really matter much in the end. I do recall after Frankie made his big reveal to the guys, Derrick saying “most of us are who we say we are”, Zach then said “all of us are who we say we are”. Zach may be a little more surprised than the others.

    • They already know he’s a cop; he’s slipped up at least once to some of them and there may have been another time when some people yelled it over the wall.

They are literally too stupid to think it’s significant.

    • I think they’ll be as disappointed with that as with everything else he’s done. They would probably have been a little more alert to him if they knew his profession. What does Derrick say his job is? Somehow, I’ve missed that.

    • Honestly, being an undercover cop is not that significant. If I were in the house, I would have viewed all of the other hgs as undercover cops, spies, criminals, and people who can’t be trusted. There is no way that I would TRULY befriend anyone who is going after the same thing that I am. Therefore, the money would always mean more to me than anything else.

  8. One more nitwit out of the house. Well done! So, we have Christine, Frankie, Caleb who all thought they would float all the way to the very end.
Play or get played! Nice to see the nitwits evicted. They do not deserve anything. Now, what would complete this sundae with cherry on top is if Derrick wins the 2/3 final HOH and takes Victoria to the Final 2. That would send the last nitwit Cody out of the game for good!

    • Caleb float? Frankie float? I agree, nice to see them go, but they definitely did not float, Frankie won the most comps in the house, and Caleb was right behind.

  9. The E article on frankie is ridiculous, says were so sad to see him go and we’ll miss him. And it seems like Julie’s liking frankie saying he played a marvelous game, I know a lot of people here disagree on that. Anyway don’t forget to vote for AFP today, already did 20 votes for donny boy.

  10. Want to add that they should have offered that deal of the extra 50,000. if all three of them made it to the final three! Now that would have been a true TA effort!

  11. Cody has this game right in his grasp and he can’t even see it.he has to be the fav to win f3 comp.send derrick packing and win the game. He will have been responsible for sending frankie caleb and derrick to jury

    • Agree. Since first two are endurance and last one is guessing what a HG would say..Cody has a real shot. I do believe, however, that he needs to win that last HOH or Derrick will feed him to the wolves. Cody has to play very smart right now.

  12. Cody has to be thinking that Derrick wants to take Victoria to finals. Cody should be thinking same for himself. Cody has to win next HOH. However Cody may take Derrik to finals because of their alignmenmt. Stupid if he does. Interesting how the best two aligned players may now have to go against each other. May the best man win!!!

    • I think Derrick will be true to Cody & Cody will be true to Derrick. Derrick should win hands down against either one of them. Derrick played a phenomenal game. He has never been put on the block. He got everybody to do exactly what he wanted without them even knowing that thats what they were doing. he got everyone to believe that they came up with whatever he wanted them to do. he played the best game. he’ll go down as one of the greats, just like Dan,& Will. He deserves the money over everyone in the house even Frankie. Frankie did win comps & his social game wasn’t bad but nobody did what Derrick did & for the mostpart, Derrick was mostly honest & trustworthy at least moreso in the beginning & middle of the game. Not so much towards the end. but that’s how you win Big Brother.

  13. Victoria has to go. If she remains in the game Derricks only option is to win the final HOH. If Cody wins he would be stupid not to take her with him. I think if the three guys remain I believe they all think they have a shot against Derrick.

  14. Don’t forget to vote for Donny as AFP. Don’t let Ariana get her fans to hijack the win that Donny so richly deserves. Skankie was shielded from the boos but he needs to know he is NOT America’s favorite player. Go to CBS and vote 20 times, every day for Donny

    • I’m voting for Nicole to win the $25,000. Donny has already won money doing team america’s missions. Nichole should of won the money in the last luxury competition. Hayden was thinking about letting her have it but she told him not to. he still should of knocked himself out instead of her.

  15. I want Derrick to take Victoria. He can say , “you all allowed me to take Victoria to the end.” Just another thing he was able to pull off.

  16. I am thinking that Derrick may have made the first and worst mistake of his game……Cody over Caleb…..Cody is hot on comps and if he really thinks about it he Cody could win the game. If he wins the final HOH and takes Victoria…..hmmmmmm

  17. It is all over Derrick will win! But not with Cody by his side. Victoria will be next to him! And if the jury is so dumb when they see that, they will still give him the money! But when they get home listen to people and watch reruns of this years big brother they will be so ashamed of themselves for being so dumb and not seeing the hand writing on the walls!!!!!!

    • They’re going to be furious at themselves. But they’d better get used to it. People as gullible as these final houseguests are going to be taken advantage a lot of in their lives.

  18. I’m sorry if I was Derek I would not split the extra 50,000 . He got himself there by out playing everyone plus I think he set a new record by never being nominated ! Go Derek

  19. I’m sorry if I was Derek I would not split the extra 50,000 . He got himself there by out playing everyone plus I think he set a new record by never being nominated ! Go Derek

  20. Virtually all of the houseguests this season are “full of themselves” (egotistical narcissists)… I think it’s foolish for people to only tag Caleb or Frankie with this. Derek constantly credits himself for moves that other houseguests already thought about themselves or moves that they chose to make before they even talked with him. Victoria constantly checks herself out in the mirror (even right after she casts her vote to evict). Cody expects every girl to crawl all over him and wanna cuddle with him. Zach thought he was the next super villain, or Dr. Will, and that his “showmance” with Frankie was going to pay dividends and bring him to the end. Amber showed signs as well… she acts like this sweet little girl, but there’s nothing sweet about leading someone on, using them because you know they really like you, and then treating them like dirt. If she was really sweet, she would have been up front and honest, while remaining a friend, at least in the game.
