The wait is over. Tonight on CBS the Big Brother 19 premiere arrives for a two-hour event starting at 8/7c as the new summer season kicks off with 16 new Houseguests and a Den of Temptation waiting to draw them in deeper.

Update: Find out what happened tonight on Big Brother 19’s season premiere with our recap!

Houseguests moved in last week and the cameras have been rolling ever since so we’ll be ready to start playing catch up to find out who has taken charge, who has become the big target, and of course since CBS wants to push this angle, who is already cuddling up together.

With a double-episode run time (8-10PM ET/PT) there’s going to be plenty of opportunities to get inside the game, both throughout the Big Brother 19 house and in the Diary Room, to find out what’s been going on. And I’m sure there’s plenty yet to learn as we await more details on this Temptation twist and whether or not some of these rumors about extra Houseguests could be true or not. We may not get all the answers tonight, but I’m ready to find out more.

  1. Ah, finally the “day of” episode post. Just over 12 hours until we all go down the rabbit hole together this summer haha.

  2. Anyone else kind of bummed that there are no vets? I thought they’d add one or two from BBOTT!

    • Not at all! I was hoping for an all newbie season and it looks like (crosses fingers) we might actually get one this season.

On a side note…If they wanted to an ALL vets season next year for the 20th anniversary of the show, then I’d be all for that then.

    • SquatchyPants, not bummed at all. Relieved actually. They’ve had their time in the sun, now it’s time for some new blood. I think a lot of people feel this way. I am kind of bummed though that it pretty much looks like the same kind of casts they have year after year. Not much age gap, it’s like they through the 50 something in there as an afterthought. As usual, more white people than any other race.

    • Vets get too much advantage, hell the newbie’s are starstruck for half the summer before they even start considering putting them up.

  3. First impression from watching the interviews, love, love, LOVE Cameron and the old guy! Jessica needs to go home first! We’re all already hip to the hoochie game and soooo OVER IT! I can’t believe she was flirting with Jeff KNOWING he’s with Jordan! Ew. BYE.

    • I know, I was acting just like this with my co-worker at work all day today…ha ha

  4. Hate watching vets mixed with newbies. Need ALL newbies. maybe later do all-vet show, but none who already won! Don’t need semi-pro game players.

  5. Hey everybody, season 19 in underway, and now the first show is in the books. I missed a little chunk of the show because we here in Chicago was interrupted with tornado warnings in parts of Illinois, so I missed the rest of the competition when they were holding on to the rope. But I did see that the nerd was voted out. I feel bad for him, but knowing Big Brother there may be a twist later for a chance for him to get back in the house. I kinda of don’t like that Paul is back in the house, so they better get him out sooooonnn. Anyway my beautiful fellow Big Brother fans I love and miss you all and I’ll be chatting with you soon.
