Celebrity Big Brother 3: Start Date Announced For 2022 Season

Celebrity Big Brother starts February 2022

The countdown is on at CBS for Celebrity Big Brother 3 with its start date announced for February 2022 as Julie Chen returns to host the new batch of Houseguests in the third celebrity season of Big Brother!

Mark your calendar now for Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 8PM for the one-hour season premiere of Celebrity Big Brother. After three years missing the Celebrity spin-off is back for another edition and with two solid seasons, I’m pretty excited to see what they can deliver for us in its return.

We’ll get a little more Celebrity Big Brother this time around with 15 episodes versus last season’s 13, so that’s something extra. And everything will wrap up with the premiere on February 23rd, just three weeks after the season started. So strange to see it done in three weeks when we slog through a summer season like Kathy in caramel. Anyway, it’s a whoosh of a season and that’s part of the fun, right?

CBS hasn’t confirmed it just yet, but I am expecting to see the Live Feeds back in play for the CBBUS3 crowd. We’ve had Feeds both of the past two CBBUS seasons and it should happen again this time.

No word yet either on the CBB3 cast and I’m sure they’ll have no trouble finding plenty of C-listers to fill the roster, but that’s okay and part of the fun. We don’t need anyone taking this too seriously and honestly last season’s cast was great just the way it was so more of that and we should be good.

In previous seasons CBS announced the cast more than a week in advance on a Sunday so they could max out their NFL audience overlap so that would be January 23rd for a potential cast reveal if they repeat their past methods. Stay tuned!
