Tom Green and Kato Kaelin had settled into what they believed to be a strong alliance between them and Lolo and Natalie, but things aren’t quite as they seemed to the duo on Celebrity Big Brother.
On Saturday night Ryan became quite aware of the quasi alliance after spotting the foursome out by the fire pit. He took that info back around to Joey, Tamar, and Dina last night as Ryan realized he could be in trouble. Flashback to just after midnight on Saturday to watch as Ryan starts to feel the heat.
The catch here is that Lolo and Natalie aren’t being terribly honest with Tom and Kato. The guys believe they’re solidly together but Natalie and Lolo have been getting closer to Ricky and protecting him from the guys. Well, Kato seems convinced they’re solid but Tom is a little concerned and he should be.
During that late night conversation that Ryan spotted, Lolo worked on convincing Tom that Ricky could be trusted and shouldn’t be targeted. Tom worries that once they take out Ryan then Ricky would be able to team up with other HGs and come get them. Well, Lolo and Natalie aren’t worried about that because they believe they’ve got Ricky on their side.
Jump ahead to Sunday. Flashback to 10:20 AM BBT as Natalie works on Kato. She tells him that Ricky regrets not coming to work with the guys sooner. She assures Kato they are solid and good with Ricky. Kato took that info back to Tom to share that Ricky supposedly wants to work with him. Tom isn’t too thrilled though and considers Ricky a threat behind Ryan.
Watch at 11:15 AM BBT as Tom warns Kato they have a chance here to target Ricky should the Veto open a spot on the Block. Kato says that’s too risky to target Ricky because it’d cost them trust from Natalie and Lolo. Kato wants to go for Kandi instead. Tom says he has to try and figure out if he’s right to be worried about what happens if Ricky wins HOH.
Move again to Sunday at 11:45 AM BBT as Lolo goes to Ricky and tells him to work on smoothing things over with Tom. She lets him know Tom has his eye on Ricky but she thinks it can be improved.
Tom remains pretty aware of the dangers here as he camtalks (12:20 PM BBT) to let us know that he’s got a group but they’re not being strategic or listening to his concerns. He’s confident Kato is making the wrong choice here (not going after Ricky) but he admits he doesn’t have the power to fix that.
It’s an interesting mix of alliances so far this season. Kato and Tom were feeling too confident in Lolo and Natalie and Tom’s right to be suspicious now. The ladies are trying to keep a foot in each group with Ricky versus Tom and it’s working well for them at the moment. Or maybe Lolo really is looking out for Tom and Kato by pulling in Ricky. It’s tough to tell but she does seem to be quietly sharing a lot of info with Ricky.
Meanwhile, you’ve got Ryan in a panic and no numbers to back him up. If Tom had been able to convince Kato to go after Ricky instead of Ryan (potential BD) then they could have swapped Lolo & Natalie for Ryan, Joey, and Dina. It’s tough to know for sure which way to go right now, even from our vantage point.
