Another episode of Big Brother: Reindeer Games airs tonight on CBS and we’re starting to get a grasp on just how this mini-series is going to play out after Monday’s premiere event. I’ve got to say, the episode was better than I thought it might be but should I be surprised with the cast is so good? I get to watch Britney Haynes and Danielle Reyes share the screen inside the Big Brother House? Christmas came early for this BB fan!
During the premiere, nine HGs arrived and now eight remain after Cameron Hardin was defeated for his chance at safety in Santa’s Showdown against Xavier Prather. There’s no HOH but the power to pick your targets remains and the lines are being drawn.
In tonight’s 90-minute episode the remaining eight will take on round two of a Naughty or Nice puzzle, the backyard Jingle Bell Brawl, and lastly Santa’s Showdown. We’ll likely get a new Santa’s Helper to guide the HGs through the competition and elimination, but it’s entirely possible the way it plays out will be different.
During the premiere we learned the rules could change every day and I imagine they will to keep things fresh even in a short six-episode stint. With eight HGs remaining and the Reindeer Games portion waiting for four to be left then we may need to pick up the pace at some point with a team elimination and what better time than with an even number of players on the field.
