A new twist has been revealed for Big Brother 26 and it’s the AI Instigator once again brought to us by AINSLEY and her mischievous ways! But this week AINSLEY won’t be the only one causing trouble because America’s Vote gives viewers the chance to pick one Houseguest to receive this special “power.”
Update: Big Brother has revealed the winner of the Instigator power is… Tucker! Here are the details:
Tucker can select any of the current HGs remaining, including himself, to appear as the hologram so he can spread rumors and share details.
He is NOT allowed to tell anyone and it MUST be kept a secret.
Biggest of all, viewers on Wednesday night will vote to determine how much money he’ll win: $0, $5K, $10K, or $20K.
Voting has ended is now open on the official CBS site and we’ll have our own poll here on the site too (see below). You can vote up to 10 times per day until voting closes at 9AM PT on August 22nd. So that power won’t be arriving anytime soon it seems.
Once the votes are tallied Big Brother will give one of the HGs the ability to spread misinformation around the game by using the deepfake hologram again like Quinn did. My hope for this is the holder of the power will keep his or her mouth closed and let it be a mystery instead of shouting the news to everyone like Quinn did.
Along with the power, viewers will vote at the end to decide how well the HG did with the power and how much money they should receive. Oh okay, hmm. No word from CBS on just how much money will be given out on this and that’s kinda weird. Usually with these “America’s Player” type thing they just earn a bonus for each task completed, so this is a little different.
Twelve options remain and you get ten votes a day to make it happen. Let’s start hearing who you think should be get this ability and then share some ideas on what secrets you’d like to have spread in the game. Considering the big shakeup we just saw at the last eviction show this could be a good time to rattle a few more cages.
