Well that was a week. Jankie World was really a dud of a Big Brother 26 twist. It stifled game talk. It stalled the momentum of a solid season. It furthered along no sort of storylines, other than Chelsie and Cam’s dysfunctional relationship. What a dud. They really went from a great twist like AI Arena to Jankie World. So there’s no shock here that Jankie World is the WORST moment of week 9.
Worst: Jankie World
I’ve already summed it up above, but let me reiterate: Jankie World sucked. It was silly, pointless and gave us nothing but filler content. The stupid singing, and dancing and limbo and conga lines. Sleeping outside. Eating pizza and ice cream. Who cares. They really went from the best twist in YEARS to this elementary BS. Yes, I have strong feelings on this. You try digging for content to write about when they’re all trapped outside and can’t talk game or really do anything but sleep. Awful, awful week. I am looking forward to a week back inside the house.
Best: Leah Wins HOH
Nothing like a power shift and someone winning HOH when they really needed it. Leah has been on the outskirts of everything for weeks now, and after losing Joseph and Quinn back-to-back, her winning HOH was true classic Big Brother. Sucks for her she didn’t get a proper HOH room or even a proper HOH basket, though. Jankie World was stupid. There, I said it again.
Worst: Leah Nominates Kimo and Rubina
Boring. I thought when she won HOH she’d actually target the trio that is a real threat. T’Kor, Kimo and Rubina are only dangerous as a jury voting block, and they all made it to jury. So that ship has sailed. Now they’re just a group of people who can’t win comps but will vote for each other to win if one of them ends up at the end. So picking them off now would have been the least of my worries. I would have focused on Chelise, Makesny and Cam.
Best: Angela Wins The Veto
It was good to see Angela actually win the veto and not just have it used on her. And her celebrating was pretty funny and I love when she annoys the other players.
Best: The Jankie Veto
I liked the idea of this. Too bad it didn’t get executed properly though. Another flop twist from Jankie World.
Best Moment For Chelsie: Leah Nominates T’Kor
Notice this one gets a special header. T’Kor going up and out was basically doing Chelsie’s dirty work. This move benefitted Chelsie the most, not Leah. But what do I know.
Worst: T’Kor’s Eviction
I haven’t felt so bad for an evicted houseguest in years – or maybe ever. T’Kor’s reaction to being evicted was just heartbreaking. She made a huge blunder by putting Tucker up and I fully believe this week would have gone way differently had she not done that during her HOH, but I still feel bad for her. She just wasn’t cut out for this game, but I think it did help her grow as a person.
Best: Jankie World Ends
Thank God that’s over. Seriously, don’t ever do that again, Big Brother. You better redeem yourself after that mess.
