Big Brother 26: The Best and Worst Moments From Week 5

Now that we are officially in Week 6 of Big Brother 26, it’s time to take a look back on the previous week’s highs and lows. And it was another dramatic week with Tucker in power.

Best: Tucker Wins HOH

We always kind of knew that a Tucker HOH was going to include some chaos. And it was also a relief for Tucker to know that he couldn’t put himself on the block that week.

Worst: T’Kor and Kimo’s Talks

This might have been pleasant for certain people, but I found this pair’s waffling all week long to be pretty irritating. T’Kor has a tendency to only express what she’s feeling to Kimo instead of anyone who can actually do something about what she’s having an issue with. I think a part of her issue is that she doesn’t quite get the concept of alliances and loyalty. Kimo even warned her that if she keeps flipping on her alliances people might not trust her.

Best: Hide-N-Go-Veto Returns

There’s nothing like a good messy competition to stir things up. I feel like they pull this competition out in seasons where they know it will produce maximum drama, typically among any houseguests who like a tidy house. You’re so naughty sometimes, Big Brother.

Best: Brooklyn’s Villain Era

It was fun to see an actual villain emerge this season. Brooklyn not only went for Tucker’s and T’Kor’s belongings, she went on to let Quinn get the blame for it. And of course we know she ate Angela’s charcuterie!

Worst: Tucker Vetoes Quinn

This wasn’t really that major of a thing, but I just think it wasn’t the smartest move. It made it look like the two of them are now working together, and it was all pretty much for nothing since Chelsie was never going to go home and it was just causing friction among Tucker’s alliance with T’Kor and Rubina.

Best: Chelsie Wins The AI Arena

I was happy Chelsie pulled off that win because I didn’t really want to deal with the fallout of them flipping the vote and sending Cam out instead of Chelsie.

Worst: Cam Doesn’t Care About Anything

I am not sure there has ever been a more passive Big Brother player. He didn’t campaign to stay, he didn’t really try that hard in the AI Arena, he never talks game. It’s just kind of like what is he there?

Best: Brooklyn’s Campaign

I loved how hard Brooklyn tried to stay in the game. Calling Tucker out in front of everything is classic Big Brother energy. She made a lot of good points, and tried, but in the end the players did make the smart move by voting her out I think.

Worst: Brooklyn is Evicted

Just when Brooklyn was coming into her villain ways, she’s sent packing. A good Big Brother season needs a solid villain, and she was filling that role.

Best: AI Arena Continues

The houseguests (and I) were expecting the twist to end this week, but it did not. And I’m thrilled. I think the AI Arena is the freshest and most entertaining thing this show has introduced since the golden Power of Veto.
