Houseguest have had plenty going on these past few days since the Thursday eviction show and we’ll get you caught up on everything that’s been happening since Cedric’s eviction from the Big Brother house.
Quinn’s Deepfake HOH reign was a failure aside from him managing to not evict himself, but he lost an ally and put himself in a risky spot against his Big Brother 26 adversary, Tucker.
Head of Household:
There were a lot of determined HGs this week, especially after the blindside vote, but it all came down to Quinn and Tucker. Tucker pitched a deal to Quinn, from what we’ve heard, but Quinn didn’t take him up on it and soon fell leaving the power to Tucker.
We got to see most of that very short lived endurance competition on the Feeds, but the end was not shown so we’ll have to watch that on Sunday’s episode.
Nominations:
Tucker made it known that he was going after the HGs who voted against Rubina in the 6-3 decision on Thursday. He couldn’t let Quinn get off easy though and put him in the mix too.
When the noms were revealed we learned that Quinn, Cam, and Brooklyn were all sent to the Block. Before that happened Tucker made a second offer to Quinn that would save Quinn if he could keep his mouth closed that he was’t the real target this week. Quinn isn’t a quick study. He revealed Tucker’s plan to Brooklyn and Tucker soon found out.
So while Brooklyn was Tucker’s first priority she might not be the only option he wants to consider by eviction night.
Power of Veto:
Here came a second chance for the HGs to snatch some power away from Tucker. It was the return of the Hide & Go Veto competition that has a nasty trend of leaving the house in a messy state and that came into play here too.
Players had to get production approval on their hiding spots this time around and even though Tucker had to make his easier to find, from what he explained, he still managed to win his third straight Veto.
After the competition ended we saw Tucker getting angry with Quinn and accusing Quinn of messing up his personal belongings as part of the comp. Quinn denied it and we even heard later from Brooklyn that she was the one who targeted Tucker’s things to rile him up.
We’re hearing a few different ideas from Tucker has he has said he’ll use the Veto and then told others that he won’t. I think that’s pretty standard fare for Tucker and he enjoys the misinformation campaigns as part of his strategy.
The Veto meeting is coming up on Monday and I’m guessing we’ll see things stay just as they right. Then we’ve got the Arena to take us down to just two of the three current noms. If Brooklyn remains on the Block by the end of the night this Thursday then she could likely be the next evicted Houseguest.
Update: Tucker confirmed to allies this morning that he’s planning to save Quinn and renom Chelsie at the meeting on Monday. That would fulfill Tucker’s desire to get the 3 votes against Rubina on the Block.
