This is our final round of the usual Big Brother spoilers with the HOH, noms, and Veto updates for everything that’s happened since the last live show. Final 4 takes us down to nearly the finish line but not quite. We’ve got to knock out these last competitions and await next Thursday’s live show to find out who makes the F3 and who heads to Jury next on Big Brother 26.
Head of Household:
With Makensy as the outgoing HOH this one came down to Cam, Chelsie, and Rubina. Like taking candy for a baby. Surprising absolutely no one, Chelsie won this round and became the new HOH. We’ll of course see this one on Sunday’s live show but geez, Cam really needed to start stepping up here, right?
It has been a back and forth of Makensy and Chelsie handing off control since Jankie World. And if you go back the week before that it was Chelsie as HOH in Week 8. So since Week 7 ended there have been six HOHs and only one of those have not been Chelsie or Makensy. These two have dominated the season!
Nominations:
Noms mean very little at F4. One HG gets to be the HOH (Chelsie) then someone else votes as the sole decision maker for this last regular eviction and that’s decided by the Veto. Noms are rather pointless, but they’re procedural so we’re still going to do that.
Chelsie named Makensy and Cam as her Noms. That makes the most sense. If she had sent Rubina to the Block along with either Cam or Makensy then one might feel favored and the nom’d one slighted. No need for that when Chelsie’s goal is to get to F3 with both of them and guarantee herself a seat at F2 no matter which of the three of them won the Final HOH.
Veto Competition:
Here’s that chance to win the second guaranteed seat in the F3. If Chelsie as HOH won it then she’d pick who gets to vote… see my note above. Chelsie had no interest in winning this. Let her minions sort it out instead.
This comp was the one where you have to know the dates of events and spin a dial in some fashion to land on the number without going over. Cam was in the lead getting everything right… and still lost. Makensy won this because of course she did!
This week’s Veto comp arrived on Friday because production needed extra time to get the content done and DRs recorded so they could be ready for Sunday’s episode featuring these events.
Veto Meeting:
We will not get a Veto meeting on Monday. Instead this event will be part of Thursday’s live show as both the Veto ceremony and an instant eviction. No Diary Room voting for Makensy. She’ll have to do it to the faces of either Cam or Rubina. The real question then is who gets the boot? We know Chelsie wants to keep Cam, but can she sway Makensy to do her bidding?? Of course Chelsie can do that! She’s been running Makensy like a puppet for weeks, right?
