Big Brother 26 Special Episode Reveals ‘AI Instigator’ Twist

Big Brother 26 gave us a special episode Tuesday night hosted by recent winners Jag Bains, Taylor Hale and Cody Calafiore. And since this was basically a clip show, there’s not an actual recap to give to you, but we will compile some takeaways from the one-hour special episode.

We’ll start with the most obvious one.

Ainsley Announces Next Twist: AI Instigator

We were all under the impression that we were going to learn the next twist of the season, and some thought it was even possible an America’s Vote could launch tonight. But alas, all we got was the name of the twist: AI Instigator. Oh, and it will involve America’s vote.  And even though there are no more details, I think we can pretty much figure this one out based on past Big Brother twists. This will probably be in the same realm as The Saboteur, America’s Player and Team America. So it will most likely be making the person we vote for do silly things, or vote randomly or cause more chaos. And that sounds like the perfect role for Tucker. As if he’s not already doing all those things. And since he is leading practically every popularity poll, he will easily be winning that America’s vote to instigate some more chaos.

Chelsie And Brooklyn Are Playing a Good Game

Jag, Cody and Taylor all seemed to agree that those two are really in a solid place. Joseph’s name also came up, but maybe he’s playing too low-key of a game.

Angela and Tucker For Final Two

A lot of what the returning winners discussed was how chaotic and messy Tucker and Angela are, but they also seemed very into the idea of those two riding this out together to the end. They talked about how amazing that would be. Of course that is very unlikely, but I agree with them that it would be entertaining, nonetheless.

Don’t Sleep On T’Kor And Kimo

This solid duo might be flying far under the radar, but one of the things I took away from this episode was that they are actually playing it smart right now, even though it looks pretty boring on the outside. That’s the kind of game that wins $750K. It might not win many ratings, but some people are there to actually win the cash and not entertain millions of strangers sitting on their couches!

And that’s about it. One thing I am not sure of is why this episode exists. It was so early for a clip show. But I guess since this has already been a wild season and it’s drawing in new viewers, this was kind of a way to catch people up on what they might have missed. I also wonder if this AI Instigator twist was a bait and switch kind of thing. I am not into conspiracy theories, but if I were, I would suggest maybe there was an actual detailed twist to be announced tonight if Tucker hadn’t been removed from the block. Maybe one that America could vote on to save him? Perhaps. I mean let’s be real, right now, at this moment, Tucker and Angela are the bread and butter of the show, and they don’t want to lose them just yet. But again, I am not into conspiracies. So take what I just wrote with a grain of salt. Just thinking about loud here.
