We have officially kicked off Week 2 of Big Brother 26 with a new Head of Household and a new target in mind. However, after the new HOH had some one-on-ones Thursday night, they were given a bit of information that could impact not only the target for this week on Big Brother but also the nominees that hit the block at Friday’s Nomination Ceremony. Read on to find out what changed their mind and which houseguests could be in danger this week on Big Brother!
If you have been keeping up with the spoilers so far, then you know that Chelsie won the Head of Household competition Thursday night. While Chelsie had every intention of throwing this comp, she also knew that she couldn’t let certain HGs win which is how she got into this position. Shortly after the feeds returned Thursday night after the competition ended, Chelsie was talking to T’Kor in the Rock Room. She told her that she wasn’t sure what to do this week because Kenney asked to be put on the block. However, she planned to nominate Lisa, Leah, and Makensy because they were the ones who voted to keep Matt, she hadn’t talked game with any of them, and she felt that she couldn’t trust them.
Chelsie also told Cedric, Joseph, Cam, and a couple of other allies the same thing. She was set on nominating those three with Lisa being her target because she was convinced that Lisa had a power that allowed her an extra vote on eviction night. After Chelsie got her HOH room, she talked with Tucker and let him know that he wasn’t on her radar and then it was Makensy’s turn to chat.
Throughout most of this conversation, it seemed as though Makensy was going to be hitting the block like Chelsie originally planned, however, when Chelsie mentioned the powers, the conversation shifted. Chelsie said that she would like to know if one of her allies or someone she would be willing to work with had one of the upgrade powers. That was enough for Makensy to spill the beans about her America’s Veto power.
She told Chelsie that she doesn’t want to use it unless she is the one on the block because it doesn’t give power to anyone in the house. Instead, it gives the power to America. Makensy explained that she didn’t use it on Matt because he told her not to and she was worried that America would vote to put her up to be funny. Chelsie told her it was smart of her not to use it and told her she doesn’t blame her for not wanting to use it at all unless it is her on the block.
As soon as Makensy left the HOH room after their chat, Chelsie camtalked about not knowing what to do now and questioning whether she should put Makensy up or try to pull her in to work with.
As of this morning, Chelsie had a conversation with Brooklyn, Cedric, Cam, and Quinn about what is best for their game. They agree that Angela is the easy choice, Kenney has asked to go up, and Lisa is still a target for their group. They discuss putting Makensy up as a backup if one of them wins the Veto, but Keeping Makensy off the block initially gives Chelsie a chance to figure out a different renom.
